I can't say enough good things about Jeff. We had Jeff cater our daughter's wedding for 100 guests in our backyard. From the beginning he let us know that he would do all he could to make the wedding special. He established a trusting relationship early on with our daughter, coordinated everything with the equipment company and insured that we would have no mis-steps come the special day. Everything was beautiful, his dinner was spot on and delicious, his staff was extremely friendly and they anticipated all of our guests needs. He really did his best make for a wonderful day. We hired Jeff and his team for a Birthday Brunch. It was as good as it gets!! The Food was amazing!! We had the omlete station, stuffed french toast, prime rib, roasted red potatoes and a beautiful fresh fruit display. We also had an awesome desserts. I recently used Jeff for a nonprofit fundraiser at my home for about 50 guests. Jeff was very responsive and gracious at my numerous questions and changes to the menu - and very sensitive to my budget constraints. He had wonderful and creative food ideas and really helped us maximize our space with his rental suggestions. On the day of the event his staff was prompt and courteous and took excellent care of my guests. This was my second year holding the fundraiser and everyone that came year one commented on how much more they enjoyed the food (different caterer last year). I found out about Jeff through another family who had their wedding at the same venue I booked for mine. Working with Jeff from start to finish was INCREDIBLE. He is so vibrant, friendly, excited, and genuinely cares about your event. He has such a passion for what he does and it shows. His tasting was so much fun. His servers on the day were professional, friendly, hard working individuals. Not only did Jeff cook us an amazing wedding dinner but my guests went back for seconds! Last night we had a wonderful catered dinner by Jeff from Jeff the Silent Chef. The food was delicious and the service was awesome! He came to the residence that the event was at and prepared several fantastic appetizers (Bruchetta, Chicken Stuffed Mushrooms, and a Caprese-like skewer with mozarella, artichoke, sundried tomatoes, olives and a wonderful sauce drizzled on top). Dinner was incredible, I had the Crem Brie and Apple Stuffed Chicken, but the two other dishes (Mahi Mahi and Manicotti) also got rave reviews. Awesome desserts with a great wine selection made the evening a hit. We had a great time and the food was fantastic! It was perfect for our event, the entire group loved it! Had Jeff and his incredible, professional crew help me put on the party of the century for my mom's 90th birthday! He was more helpful than I can say. He took care of the menu and assisted with ordering the linens and tables. We had live music, gorgeous flowers, a view to die for but the food was exquisite with rave reviews from all guests! After weeks of planning and setting up a few evening events to entertain our Reps, we found out 5 days before one of the events that the original plan was no longer going to work. In a last-minute mad dash to throw together a themed dinner party we stumbled across Jeff on Yelp. Best decision we made to hire him and his team. Jeff made everything so streamlined and simple on our end. We literally picked the food and Jeff handled everything else. From set up to break down to clean up, we did NOTHING!!! Which was a nice change since we usually do EVERYTHING. Not only did Jeff accommodate us with regards to our time sensitive needs, he also was great at helping us choose the best menu to fit our Polynesian theme. His pricing was reasonable esp. for all he and his team did to provide such a great atmosphere with such great food. AND THE FOOD IS GREAT, phenomenal is even a better word to describe his choices for our dinner party. We took all the reps to the Cayman Islands one year for this meeting and can you believe I got more compliments and rave reviews about our Laguna Beach event then I did about being on an ISLAND. We contacted Jeff to cater a wedding reception for 120. He impressed us at the first meeting with his friendliness and humor. Jeff was patient with us when we were deciding on the food selection and he had no problem with the additions over the last few months. The food was beautifully presented and sooooo good. The chicken melted in my mouth and I'm not a huge chicken fan. Several friend were not pasta fans however they loved the penne pasta. As the coordinator I was running between all the wedding activities and when I had to stick my head into the kitchen, Jeff always had a smile for me.
