This is a very decent place to get bagels, and the prices are very reasonable (for South Tampa). I went in the late morning on a weekday. No line. I ordered half a dozen bagels (2 Everything, 2 Asiago, 2 blueberry), a spread flight (chive, strawberry and veggie), and a banana bread iced coffee. They gave me the coffee first so I could sip as I waited, but everything was ready in less than 5 minutes. The bagels had nice bite. I thought the Everything bagels were a little too salty, but otherwise, I have no complaints. The strawberry spread was absolutely delicious. The banana bread iced coffee had more nutmeg than I had expected, so I don't know if I'd order that again, but I'm hypersensitive to nutmeg because my husband is allergic. I do wish they'd do hot sandwiches, but we can't have everything we want. Also, the parking lot is a pain. I'd happily return the next time I need a bunch of bagels and spreads. read more

I had a 2 dozen bagel order with 4 cream cheese tubs. It smelled absolutely delicious! It was a pick up order and I didn't realize they closed at 2pm but they still let me in at 215 to get the order. That is quality employees and service. They didn't have to do that but were so kind about it. The bagels were fluffy and crunchy on outside. Asiago everything was the best one for sure and the hot sauce cream cheese was surprisingly a huge hit with our group! Came back for another visit to Jeff's Bagel Run. Two changes this time... 1) Ordered on the app. Amazing. (Plus, you get a free bagel the first time you use the app) 2) Intentionally ordered a hot straight out of the oven bagel this time. Don't get me wrong... All their bagels are fresh. However, fresh out of the oven hot is so much better. I enjoyed my first bagel... I loved my second bagel. If you have the chance... Get it hot straight out of the oven. As for the rest... Staff is super friendly. Restaurant is super clean. Orders are prepared quickly. Parking lot is a bit tight... But I guess they can't really help that. That gives the restaurant 5 stars. read more

Last week was our first time visiting Jeff's Bagel Run. We have another location coming soon to the fishhawk area so we decided to drive out to Tampa to give them a try. It was pretty busy on a Saturday but the line was moving pretty quickly. They have limited seating but we were lucky enough a table cleared up and we were able to sit. We ordered a couple bagels and a shmear flight and also a chocolate chip blondie. The weight wasn't too bad maybe 10 minutes for our order to be ready. Once we started to get into the bagel we noticed they're very soft. I realized at that moment that boiled never toasted means there's no crunch. Which was fine. Wasn't a bad bagel at all and their flavors are really good but it wasn't what I was expecting. I do like that they have hot and cold bagels and even little make your own at the front. read more

Today, Jen's bagel run took her to Jeff's bagel run! I'm always looking for places that open early and learned about this place here on Yelp (of course!). I had to zip by. I loved being welcomed right as I walked in the door. The cashier was friendly, warm, so knowledgeable about the operation-and patient as I tried to decide. There were so many flavors-some of them truly different, like asiago everything. I landed on rosemary salt and the flavor of the day, cinnamon blueberry. Then came the cream cheese decision. I went with plain. I wanted the bagels to speak for themselves. But here's what you need to know: (drum roll please)..... Banana! Pudding! Cream! Cheese! I'll build a whole meal-heck, a whole day-around something like that!! That'll be Jen's cream cheese run. Oh! And looking ahead, some of the other "flavors of the day" this week: Cheez-It and garlic bread! This location opens early-is spotlessly clean-and runs like a Swiss watch. Our first time into Jeff's as they are from Orlando and this is a relatively new location to Tampa. It was counter service ordering. The girl at the register was very friendly and walked us through the menu and the concept. Bagels are all served hot and fresh, no toasting. And they have spreads and a few topping options, but no sandwiches. This is my only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. I love a bagel sandwich and I love a toasted bagel. While I think it's nice to recommend them fresh, it would still be nice to have the option of toasted or a bagel sandwich. That being said, I ordered a cinnamon sugar bagel with banana pudding cream cheese and a banana cold brew. Both the bagel with spread and the coffee were very good. They had a nice variety of spreads to choose from, and you could get them individually or as a trio to try more of them. The location seems very popular for taking bagels home, as there were a lot of people coming in to pickup dozen or half dozen bagel orders. Overall, would come back! read more

I love a morning bagel run, so I was excited to try out this new shop in Tampa! We ordered two bagels, one sesame and one cinnamon sugar. Just a note- they don't toast bagels here, instead they are always boiled. I prefer my bagels toasted, so for convenience purposes I wish there was an option to have them toast it for you in store. Came to Jeff's bagel run on a Saturday morning and the line was out the door but I ordered in advance. The only disappointment was that the app said a lot of bagels were sold out but once I got there, they were in stock- so maybe I should have just waited in line. The bagels were not toasted but freshly made. They were very chewy and I loved the texture. I really enjoyed the Cacio e Pepe bagel! The everything bagel and Asiago everything were also very good but definitely on the salty side. The rosemary salt bagel was decent but not the best rosemary salt bagel I've had. I got the chive and onion cream cheese and didn't enjoy it as much- probably will pick a different flavor next time. Overall, decent bagels. Slightly overpriced, but I would go again. I stumbled upon Jeff's Bagel Run on the morning of their grand opening, literally standing in line waiting for the doors to open around 6 a.m. and it was such a great experience from start to finish. The staff was incredibly upbeat, welcoming, and genuinely excited to serve everyone, which instantly set the tone and got me even more excited to try everything. I ordered ahead on the app while waiting, and once they opened, my order was ready and bagged within just a few minutes. The bagels were fresh, perfectly chewy, and absolutely delicious. I also loved the variety of spreads and the option to order smaller portions instead of committing to a full tub, perfect for trying multiple flavors. They even offer kits to make salmon lox bagels (and a turkey option too!), which is such a fun and convenient touch. Bonus points: the bagels hold up amazingly well as leftovers. Went to soft opening and grand opening today. I liked their bagels- chewy - they boil them. The spread is a bit on the running ish side but I like that you can see the "flavors" inside whether it's chunks of strawberries or jalapeños. I also like the fact that they have one special bagel daily rotation. No sandwiches so line generally moves fast. read more

Jeff's Bagel Run is one of our new favorite bagel spots in South Tampa. My go-to bagel flavor is the everything bagel, but they have an asiago cheese everything bagel that slaps even harder. All of the homemade spreads are so fresh and the savory spreads have real chunks of veggies in them. The chive and onion and roasted jalapeño are two of my favorites, but I also love the classic plain spread. I don't like the bagels, the way they are prepared is cold cut bagels. They don't toast them they don't put the cream cheese on them they throw them in a bag and say here! Not the best place, pop-up bagels are warm and come with a huge thing of cream cheese makes it well worth the money and you get three not one cold ‍ save your money and go somewhere else. read more
