    hello, i am sending this to you to let you know that i have posted this everywhere i can so that…read moreeveryone will see what me and my company thinks on how you treat your employees!!!! i have tried to talk to eric and he wants to just try and just do things himself and not let people come to you. i find that very rude and disrespectful in so many ways! i will tell you that i have owned my company for 35 years and i would never treat a man the way your company the way you do and think that it's ok to try and make him work under the circumstances that you do with him. you make him wear a mask that makes him so sick and almost darn near into seizures. my daughter is a nurse and that poor man does so much for your company and works so hard for you and your company.  he is there everyday. he has to work and is never late and stays late and he always goes above and beyond his job for everyone that i have ever sent there not just me and my company but my family friends and so much more. i am going to post this everywhere i can till someone listens to me!!!!!  i truly want to thank you to joseph at the south lyon location for all his help to he is one of the hardest working people i have every meant and not only for me personally but he has helped out company and staff he works so hard at his job and i feel that it is incorrigible, brutalize, misuse, maltreat and molest this is how he is treated for how much he does for this company and this is all do to him having to wear the mask! this makes him so sick, it is so hard to see him try to work with being so sick if he had a doctors note then he should be able to work and be safe and healthy but you force he to be sick and work like this he is to amazing of a worker for you to treat him like this yet you do this is not right i not only going to post here i am going to post were every i can that is going to listen to me that will do something about the way you treat the best employees you have he works everyday for you on time stays late and never ever complains about what you do to him but we see it every time we come in here me my staff joseph is the best this you have in your company to bad you treat him the way you do he is in south lyon and we all love that store--

    Stay away from this advance auto parts location. Worst customer service experience I've ever had…read more This guys should not be dealing with the public. Followed me around the store, guess thinking I'm going to steal something. Didn't even get welcomed when walked in and made a purchase. They didn't say everything at all. Not helpful.     Me and my boyfriend had a rough day yesterday on his birthday. Our alternator died while 2 hours…read moreaway from home. The young kid that worked there (forgot him name) was our angel on our rough day. He went above and beyond to help us be able to get home. He tested our alternator/battery, jumped my car AND THEN GAVE US HIS JUMPER CABLES so if we died on the way home we had the cables to be able to get a jump. He said since it was my boyfriends birthday and we were having such a rough day that it was the least he could do. We didn't even spend any money at his store because they didn't have what we needed, and he still went out of his way to do all this and make our day. His manager/boss on the other hand was SO RUDE. We asked if they had any tools we could use to try and install our alternator, and he so rudely said "we have tools you can buy", when in fact they had tools we could've rented and then returned and got the full refund, but he didn't even tell us about that option. He wouldn't help us test our battery/alternator, he made the younger kid go and do it when he wasn't even entirely sure how to, he just had to figure it out while he was out there (which he did, because he is amazing). People talk so often about how crappy millennials are, but in my opinion it's the other way around. That older gentleman who was in charge had horrible customer service. He even left in the middle of the day and left the younger kid there in charge (who was obviously somewhat new because he he had to wait for the manager to get back to be able to figure out how to help us with something, so we would've had to wait 15 minutes for him to return from getting MCDONALDS). Overall the gist of this story is that the younger gentleman who helped us out was so amazing for helping us when he in no way needed to. Went above and beyond his job description to help us out. And the older gentleman who was in charge was so rude and needs to take a customer service class because I graduated with a bachelors degree in hospitality, and you sir get an F for your hospitality grade.
