I wish that was the worst of it but there is also an ongoing issue of offering their specials and always running out of it early in the day. We have been there twice now for their "brisket" special for a 7pm and 6pm reservation and both times they did not have it available. They said we "just" ran out of it. So the bad staff issue combined with this bad management in ordering food supplies unfortunately takes away from the good food the kitchen staff in putting out. A lot of new restaurants and coming into Canton now so hopefully someone with some authority will address these issues and make Queenies a better restaurant than it is now before it can no longer compete.

No one in town charges more for a beer than this place. For example, I enjoy local IPAs and Creature Comforts (Athens) is everywhere. I can go to several other stops in town and pay less for a 16 oz can or pour of this beer. Compared to another decent stop down the street, three roses is almost 30% more. My wife says one of the wines she likes is a little less than other stops, so that's good. But other drink prices tend to be on the high side as well, but most in town have higher liquor prices. That adds up if you like to frequent a place. Hence, we stopped frequenting. Overall, I like the decor and as noted, the food is decent. The upstairs is better than the downstairs but I'm glad they have the downstairs for some occasion when they could get busy. As for the Tavern / entertainment element, I've never seen any live music but they have several TVs. Not sure this would be my top choice to watch a game but it would work in a pinch if the other places were too busy or noisy.

You can probably figure out how I made do with food in this instance. Our kids, meanwhile, devoured their food like we had starved them their whole lives, so on the plus side we didn't have to hear kids whining about food! Service was polite but very slow.
