We ordered 8 tacos (2 cabeza, 4 asada, 2 mixto with shrimp and asada). We were blown away by the quality of each taco. Super tender and cooked perfectly with tons of flavor from proper marinade. Only thing holding me back from 5 stars is no guac - like they do not offer guacamole at all. That's a miss for sure but otherwise these are some of the best tacos in the valley. Tacos are $3 a piece, so I expected a decent or normal amount of meat per taco, but instead I got a kid's portion. I ate more tortilla than meat, just to put it into perspective. With total honesty, these tacos are worth $1.50 at most. The food taste was very mediocre, not even average. It lacked a lot of flavor. The agua fresca was really good, though. I hate it when palces charge a lot for food, but they're very stingy with the portions.

It's not so bad when you combine it with the accompanying pico de gallo, lettuce, sour cream, guacamole, rice/beans and wrap it into a warm corn tortilla. No lime sightings anywhere for some reason. Now, the cactus: maybe if you're a fan of Okra or any other slimy textured veggie, you might like it, but I just can't bring myself to enjoy what I would describe as a green pepper that was trampled over by a garden snail. But try this desert delicacy and judge for yourself. Finally, do NOT order the chicken wings. I paid $15 for six small, burnt, overly salted wings. Not sure what I was thinking. The food was fabulous! I had the mole enchiladas. The sauce was so good! Standard rice and refried beans come with it. I also ordered the bacon -wrapped jalapeno. It was filled with cheese. Yummy! My husband had the carnitas tacos plate, loved! They had a couple bottles of Laguna's IPA that we enjoyed with the meal. Really good and reasonably priced.
