The owner herself took the drink and remade it, which we appreciated, but her attitude toward us after was unnecessary. She told us that next time we should order directly with them because we just "wasted their cups" and so on. We apologized again and explained that we would have selected iced if the iPad had actually given us that option, but she didn't really acknowledge what we were saying. What made the experience more disappointing is that I work in coffee myself, so I understand what it's like when things get busy. I chose Barista Del Barrio out of all the coffee shops in the area specifically because I'm Latino and wanted to support a Latino-owned business. I even tipped when I placed the order on the iPad, so I was disappointed with how we were treated over something as simple as an ordering-system issue.

They were tremendous by the way. She didn't have to do that. The ambiance is it's only weak point, but even that is minor. Simple black is fine. It's modern feeling and doesn't stand out loudly. They have outdoor seating, which early in the morning is fine, but id avoid in the summer, which will likely mean you'll be waiting, depending on the time. Oh! I forgot to mention, they have very good drinks. They really are intentional about the blend of flavors, they have a little something for everyone. All in all, I cannot recommend this place enough. It's been a shining star amongst Tucson restaurants and I am grateful they exist. Even to how they organize their menu partly by flavor profiles shows they genuinely LOVE food. I love food too, and I love here. Try this place. Today.

The staff are great. They always have smiles and are happy to see you. They are hard workers and are efficient. The food always comes out tasty and the same every time. I love the burgers and the Patty Melt is my favorite. The sides can be French fries, onion rings, salads, or fruit. The breakfast menu has omelettes, hot cakes, waffles, and the standard breakfast with eggs, choice of ham, sausage, or bacon. It's a great spot to stop in and get whatever it is that you are craving, plus knowing that it will come out the same every time.

However, we quickly got confused about the vibes, as the following song played was K.C. & Jojo - All My Life. The genre changed with each song, keeping the guest on their toes on what song would be played next. Overall, this Jerry Bob is still a great spot for breakfast. I'll revisit at a later time to try the cinnamon roll again, perhaps arriving earlier in the morning. Just be prepared for a diverse music playlist.

The waffle was homemade but the syrup was so sticky that you had to twirl the fork to keep the sugar stands from running down your chin. I give it three stars mainly for the friendliness of the staff. They weren't busy even though the gym show is right there and it took a bit of time for even the appetizers to come out. With all of the food choices around this town, there are much better burgers and breakfasts around and close by. If it was the only option for the type of food I guess I would go, however I am not going out of my way to return.

I am watching this all happen, but instead of washing his hands first, he reaches into the case with a parchment sheet hand no gloves to grab my blueberry muffin. Now why didn't I say no thank you after that, I didn't want to be rude. Maybe I should have, but either way I'm thinking that will be the last time I go here.
