There's also fresh baked goods, hot coffee & teas. Really there's a little something for everyone! They pride themselves on there "world famous hot dog" it's a 1/4lb dog split & grilled served on a warm bun & a plentiful condiment bar to boot. Ask the friendly staff in the Deli how the dog came to be "world famous" they be happy to tell you! It's a cute story :) The burgers don't take second place either, the juicy all beef patty comes on a toasted sesame bun served w LTPO (lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion) you can always spruce it up w cheese, bacon, or an ortega chili, (w and additional fee of course. :) The meals include a side of your choice, now there is no fries, but they make up for it with their HOME MADE potato salad, mac salad or chili, among the other standard sides, green salad, chips & salsa or a bag of kettle chips!!! I ordered the cuban sandwich, I like them but so many around SLO county are just not good. Well, this came out on a beautiful bread roll and was packed full of the meats. The pickles and mustard were perfect, the ratios were great, it was a mouthful. The bread was baked excellent and really the stand out, as it should be at a bakery. That said, this is a sandwich I'd happily drive up 41 to get again. Can't wait to come back and try more sandwiches and hopefully come home with some fresh baked bread.
