Starting off you walk in to unfriendly staff who could care less about getting you your food. During my order I stated 3 times I can not have tomatoes and how I am allergic, yet what was on my sandwich you guessed it tomatoes. Now I understand mistakes happen and it was busy but it's a shame with something as serious as an allergy. Than when it came time to pay after waiting 20 minutes and the store now being packed the man behind the register informs everyone he will only be able to take cash and no bills over 20 dollars. Long story but here it is, my journey started when I tried calling around this location at 8:15pm and the phone was off the hook, so I drove all the way over to 370 N Lantana to order in person, assuming it was busy but found two smug faced teen girls half an hour to close, standing around who had taken the phone off the hook- an hour prior to closing. They had zero desire to make me anything and said it was common practice to take the phone off the hook at the store at 8 before closing at 9 these girls were less than professional and I was pissed I wasted time and gas when they could have just answered to deny my order even though they are supposed to be open. I called the closest location at 8:43 after my horrid experience with those morons to find the most friendly amazing staff at this nearby Jersey mikes! Dylan and Elijah who answer the phone at 8:48 have the open sign on and smiles until the last minutes of closing, I cannot say enough about this turn around in events- bosses should give those boys a raise and fire those idiot girls ruining the chain at this location. I would give this location no stars if this option was available. We ordered 2 giant sandwiches one which was a BLT. The BLT was ordered incorrectly without bacon, mayonnaise and lettuce which is a BLT. They charged me for a bread with nothing in it. It didn't occur to them to call me. Everyone needs a Jersey Mike's in their neighborhood. There have been many nights when this place has saved me from making dinner after a long day at work. Service is generally friendly, some employees are more outgoing than others. I've also noticed some turnover in the past year, so some of my favorite workers are no longer around. They were the type of workers who knew me so well, that they knew my order instantly when I walked in. With so many new faces, I now prefer to place my order in person to watch the food being made. On a couple recent occasions, I ordered via phone, only to unwrap the food at home and realize the sandwiches were made incorrectly (e.g. missing bacon or mayo, wrong bread, etc.). My favorite sandwich is the #9 CLUB SUPREME = roast beef, turkey, swiss, applewood smoked bacon, and mayo. It's like taking an ordinary club sandwich, then elevating it to something even more wonderful! I walked into this location on a Sunday afternoon after a busy day of holiday shopping. Immediately was greeted with a pungent smell as if they've had dead rodents lying somewhere in the store.. For the perfect The Original Italian this is the place. We get it "Mike's Way" with onions, lettuce, tomatoes, olive oil blend, red wine vinegar and oregano....minus the onions. The staff is always friendly and will greet you as you come in, and you can smell the goodness of the meats and cheeses the moment you walk in the door. I got the meatball sub today. White bread. To be honest, nothing special about this sub compared to the competitors. Well they put more cheese on here at jersey mikes which is good. Bread was a bit dry, corners were hard. Other than meatball, I usually get the club or turkey. What I do like about jersey mikes is that the portions are good. You get way more meat than the competition. (After pondering this, however--this difference may be made up in the price. Cuz it is a few more bucks here.). Great marketing by jerseys. I own a shop right near them & sometimes... in the rush of the mornings, I forget to bring our dog's food.
