Came to Jersey Mike's in Camarillo after doing a marathon shopping adventure at the Outlets. We were looking for anything quick serve and found this place nearby. We had almost no time and were served quickly. I haven't been to Jersey Mike's before that I can recall. I guess I didn't know the drill so the ordering process was a little awkward. I think most people that come in there must know exactly what they want. I held up the process by trying to read the menu. I also wasn't so clear on what "Mike's Way" is. I tried to tell the guy what I wanted (not Mike's Way) as I was ordering-wrong. You do that later. Anyway I got my sandwich which was pretty good and it came down the line quickly. The bread was soft, the turkey was fresh and it was adequate. Not like a NY Deli or anything, but it hit the spot. I'd stop there again in a panic. read more

The customer service at this particular location is completely inexcusable. Terrible attitudes and no greeting when you walk in. The bratty little teenage girl that rang me up the last 2 times didn't even say thank you for coming in. Matter of fact she didn't say a single word to me. The last two times I've came here I felt like a complete inconvenience and I've been treated like crap. $70 order it was reiterated 3 times extra cheese on one of the sandwiches. Not only was there no extra cheese there was no cheese at all. Called and after explaining to 2 different people what happened I was told they have really bad phone service so the girl probably heard no cheese. Well no, again it was repeated to her 3 times and she repeated it back. "Well we can make you a new sandwich and you can come back and pick it up." So I should waste my gas driving all the way across town, you should send one of your employees to bring me a new sandwich or give us a credit for our next purchase. "Oh we can't do that." Really can't go wrong with Jersey Mike's. They help with school fundraisers also, and Dawn has always been super sweet to work with. The only reason I can't give a full 5 stars is because the staff is a bit inconsistent; we've had both good and bad service, and the last few times have been pretty slow, regardless of the length of line. I just ordered like an hour ago for GrubHub. I ordered a #43 chipotle cheese steak with no onions or peppers. I still wanted the chipotle mayo... I received this also expensive sandwich from my GrubHub driver, I opened it up took a bite and there is no chipotle mayo... Huge disappointment, it was just steak and cheese that's it. On several occasions I have ordered the. #43 and it has never been correct. I always order it no onions or peppers and extra cheese on wheat. Here's just a short list of ways they've messed it up: Website ordered it and got no extra cheese (which I pay extra for) ,it did have onions and peppers, no chipotle sauce and when I ordered it it gave me a eta of 40 minutes I went in 10 minutes early fully expecting it to not be ready and to my surprise it was but when I got home (literally around the corner like a 5 minute walk 30 second drive) it was cold. When they put the onions and peppers I just pick them out but then the sandwich afterwards looks barely like a sandwich more so like a loaf of bread with a couple pieces of meat Through door dash the first time: no extra cheese with onion and pepper on white Through door dash the second time: 2 #43s as wraps with onion and pepper I just find it super disappointing when I wanna treat myself and the food is never correct especially when this is the only Jersey mic location I've ever had issues with read more

I reviewed them a few years ago and I am happy to say that I am still a nearly weekly customer. I love this store! Jake is still running the joint and doing a fantastic job, Michaela and Lex are always a joy to order with, and there is another guy who works there, I don't know his name, but he's fantastic as well. They always greet me with smiles, and now they know me by name. This is a great team. I hope whoever owns the place knows and appreciates that. If I have ANY criticism at all, it's this: you must have cash to tip the team, because for some reason, this location doesn't have the ability to include a tip on the point of sale machine with a card. Great place for sub sandwiches however I do wish they had some more veggies available then the basic lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles (you can get green peppers upon request though). If you're ever looking to add a little "umph" to your sandwich, have them put a light layering of the chili pepper relish over some mayo. Unlike every other Jersey Mike's I have visited, this one is a disaster waiting to happen. I was stuck in Camarillo for a few days so I decided to find a Jersey Mike's and use my points to get a free mini-sub. I ordered a Super Sub online and was given a pickup time. It took forever to find this little store tucked away into a small business center but I found it, went inside to just grab my order and go (as I do at ALL other JM's) but what encountered was a disaster. There was no pickup area that I could see and the place was overflowing with customers. It is a TINY store so people were lined up from the cashier to the back of the store then looped back to the front of the store. Everyone was masked (I was in CA) but the best case of social distancing was 2 feet---or less. When I finally got the attention of an OVERWORKED employee, she told me the pickup area was at the cashier station where at least 15 people were waiting. I almost left at that point. But I finally got the cashier's attention and he told me that my sub was "in line". So I huddled against a wall and waited 15 minutes in dangerous cramped quarters until it was ready. When it was, I grabbed it and fled. Only to find out that it was NOT the sub I ordered but there was no way I was going back inside to argue about it. read more

Customer service needs improvement, food is whatever. I am grateful for those who show up to work these days, especially in the service industry. They advertise living up to its roots as far as being a "neighborhood shop", however, this location is cold. No greeting at arrival & friendly service is nonexistent. There have been multiple occasions where I've seen & experienced employees doing absolutely nothing & ignore customers waiting on their online orders. We've been frequenting this particular Jersey Mike's location since they opened, and have been happy with them, in the long run. However, it seems that they have cut way back in the amount of meat they serve on their subs. Also, my wife got a hair in her sub for the second time in less than one year. Ew. Gross. Disgusting. I frequent jersey mikes almost once a week. I usually go to the Santa Rosa one or one in Oxnard but the last two times I've gone to this one and both times have been super disappointing. The first time we ordered 8 sandwiches through the app and they ignored any customizations and made everything mikes way, I just let it be because it was a lot of sandwiches. This second time I went we ordered 5 sandwiches through the app and it said to pick up at 1:32pm. I got there at 1:30 and had to wait until 2pm for my sandwiches to be ready. I again was going to let it slide because there was a walk in order for 17 sandwiches but then I got home and again the sandwiches were made all mikes way, customizations completely ignored. Its a bummer because these sandwiches are priced higher (and usually totally worth it) and you even pay extra money for cheese and what not and they just ignore it. We went here because my son had tried this sandwich with a friend. He loved it and wanted to have one. We ordered the giant size which really is giant and they slice it in four pieces. Enough for two people. The club sub #8 comes with turkey, ham, bacon and provolone cheese. Then topped with all the veggies and oil and vinegar. The bread is slightly crispy on top but not hard. It's was delicious and can't wait to have it again. I will return jersey mikes. read more

Workers are CLEARLY overworked here. The last few times I came in they have been SLAMMED! No doubt everyone wants a good sub for lunch. People in these reviews are cold cut them some slack. When I come in it seems like they might be understaffed. I always see the same group of workers and I'll add that these kids look young! Im sure they're making it work with what they are given. Food is good yeah service might lack at times but it happens especially when you see how much they are juggling behind that counter. Keep it up I notice your hard work! It's funny, but I'm more impressed and intrigued by the story behind this sub franchise than I am with their food. For me there's nothing really special with this food, it's your usual subs with a cheesecake thrown in for good measure. The vingegar and oil is pretty good on your subs, but I do not recommend the philli cheesesteak wrap-- not tasty at all. It's all wet and such. read more

This place is ALWAYS disappointing and we love Jersey Mikes. Today they forgot one of my sandwiches so good thing I noticed before I got home or I would have had to drive back. I ordered x-mayo and there is barely on 1 side of the bread. Almost no lettuce or onions at all on my sandwich. Forgot the peppercinis completely. The whole sandwich feels like there's barely anything to it. Then the toilet was broken and full of pee and when I let them know all 4 kids just looked at each other and no one said anything at all. Not a "thanks for letting us know" or anything lol. It's not like I expect them to fix the toilet. I don't know why, but the kids that work at this location are always rude. Jersey Mike's generally has great food products. Unfortunately, the food was good at this location, but the store was a mess. Trash receptacles were all full. Litter on the floor. Messy counter tops with lettuce strewn about. Worst of all was a conglomeration of meats and cheeses in the slicer just sitting there. The best location in Camarillo for cleanliness and stable employees, in my opinion, would be the Santa Rosa Rd location. read more

I am a fan of Jersey Mikes. I believe they service fresh food. I had to place a large order to carry out for work. I ordered their box lunches. It included chips, a regular sandwich and a cookie. The order was ready upon my arrival and the food was of good quality. I received positive feedback from those who enjoyed the meal. The price was reasonable. It was $9.50 for the box lunch and the regular size sub is a decent size. I only ate half and saved the rest for dinner. I would recommend them for a good sub sandwich. They do not deliver but if you are in the area, picking up is easy. read more

Literally the worst jersey Mike's in Ventura county there was a teenage girl working and I had gotten just a basic club sub nothing crazy the only thing that I wanted was avocado instead of mayo and she act as if I just asked for her first born so bothered so annoyed with the fact that I even asked then my fiancé asked for avocado as well on his and still with the same attitude. I like sandwiches and most everything from Jersey Mike's is good and french. While the wait staff can be the usual group of rowdy high schoolers, when I go they are pleasant, funny, and seem to enjoy their jobs which makes the visit all the better. Only two pieces of caution. 1. There is not much indoor seating but most people order to go so it shouldn't be too bad. 2. Never order a regular. It's like two dollars more for a giant and the giant is literally twice the size of a regular while the sort being $2 less is roughly 3/4 the size of a regular. So if not hungry, get the short, if hungry, get the giant. The best deal is two split a giant with a friend and you both get a regular size sandwich. read more
