My co-worker called in a pick up #7 giant With "Heavy Pickles" 20 min before i left. I walk up to the pick up side, and the 2 people that are by the register didn't knowledge me, Fine you're busy i get it. The Sandwich making guy with glasses notices me and asks if i am picking up, so i gave him the name and so they began to look for my order, i gave them 2 different names because i wasn't sure who my co-worker put the order under. They claim to have found it and said they are still making it, i said okay ill wait, Waited another 10 min. Turns out it wasn't my order and they almost gave me someone else's order that was online and paid for already.....They confused my order with someone else's order, with the same name. So they ask what i ordered and told them again, and turns out They haven't even started on my sandwich so i had to wait another 10 min for an order I called in about 40 min ago by now. They Finally finished my Sandwich and i told the girl cutting my sandwich only cut it in 2 pieces, she cuts in 4 *sigh*... This was an inconvenience to me because i was on my lunch break and my time was limited. I make it back to work, and turns out they forgot something on my order.. The Pickles!! Keep in mind i asked for Heavy on the Pickles and guess how many they give me in my GIANT Sandwich................... 3 Pickles. The sloooooooooooooooooooowest service ever! The place was empty, probably because the service is so slow and these TWO girls took 25 minutes to make one sandwhich! It was horrible, they had an attitude and were obnoxious and even intimidating. If I would have complained they probably would have spit on my sandwich. Multiple times I've ordered a 26 with double meat and no tomatoes. First time no double meat (understandable mistake). Second time they made it with steak instead of chicken (come on). Heard great reviews about this place and I decided to try it and it was the best choice of my life. I've been coming here for quite a while and service has been amazing. I've always been helped by Tony and he is always a great help, great personality and great menu knowledge. I would highly recommend you ask for Tony with any of your sub orders and/or raps. I went into this location and Alma was extremely rude to me after addressing that I did not want the white bread she started making my sandwich with . After apologizing for possibly not being clear about what I wanted ( to be polite ) she insisted on advising me that I have to ask for what type of bread I want with the nastiest tone , neck rolling , eye rolling and condescending attitude I've ever experienced in customer service . I then stated that Im always asked what type of bread I want immediately from an employee after stating which sandwich I want and she insisted on reiterating the procedure instead of smoothing things over as a simple misunderstanding so I took it upon myself to make that happen . The official disappointment didn't even settle in until I made it home and was too upset over her pathetic display of customer service that I no longer wanted the food I paid for . Great sandwich but when walking in the door and rudely told to stand outside cause of guidelines and restrictions of 10 people or less. Ok 6-7 workers is overkill when you can only let in 3-4 customers based on those guidelines. I don't like being yelled at and kinda wish I had chose the other location. Ordered online to cut down on wait time because it's always slammed on my lunch break. Went in there and it was actually low traffic, but somehow my sandwich still wasn't ready and I was there 5 minutes after my intended pickup time. Then once I got my sandwich I opened the paper to see 1 slice of provolone and one slice of turkey. I don't know if me showing my unhappy emotions in my face made the workers want to rush my sandwich (even though again-- almost no one there) or whatever the case was but usually I have a much better experience here, even if the line takes a million years. Going to Jersey Mike's is usually a good experience but today was my first time at this location. The sandwiches were ok and the staff was very kind, but the dining room was filthy. Every single table was unusable and had crumbs and trash on them. The floors had clumps of black dust/dirt/trash and it looked to me that no one had swept or mopped in days. If the customer- facing side of the business looks like that, it makes me wonder how clean the operation is behind the scenes. Probably won't be going back to this location. read more

I came here today for the first time, to redeem my free birthday sub and drink. The staff here were very uninviting and not welcoming at all! I showed the girl behind the counter, my phone coupon, and after looking at it, she said I would have to show her my ID. Next she asked me, "so which one do you want?" I told her the #13. She then proceeded to make the sandwich, without asking what kind of bread or cheese. After that, she tried asking me if I wanted to add chips and soda for an additional cost. I told her the offer included a drink, and no thanks. So I gave her my phone at the register, and she asked for my ID. Then after staring at the coupon more further, she had to ask several of the other staff for a code. After that, she gave me my drink and receipt and that was it! My sandwich wasn't even made the regular way I'm used to. Normally I know #13 is made with the most meat. This one wasn't made that way at all! I've been to the other jersey mike franchises in Torrance and in Gardena. Both of those other locations are so much nicer and so friendly! If I had gone to those other locations, they would have immediately greeted me, within knowing that it's my birthday! This location hasn't been open very long, and they are already showing rudeness and impoliteness! I understand it's a birthday offer and that it's free, but still show some good customer service! It may change in the future** I ordered The Original Italian & Club Supreme via online around 11:39AM and the order confirmation said it would be ready to pick up at 11:58AM. I figured I would head over there a little later just in case they were not done. I get there around 12:26PM and guess what...they never received my order... I would've been more understanding if my sandwich was being made as I got there, but for them to not even receive the order is ridiculous. Luckily for me, I do not have a strict lunch work break, however for others, it could've been a issue (probably best to call them after to confirm). So basically I had to wait another 15 min for my sandwich to be done, however they didn't even make the sandwich right, which makes it worse. I put simple instruction (mayo on side, no salt) and even handed them my printed confirmation, however they just made the sandwich normally. In spite of an issue, they get a 4 because I'm a fan of Jersey Mike's. On the several occasions that I've made out to this location the service and food have been on point. Last night seem to be headed in the same direction, until I got home and took a few bites of my classic Italian#13, the avocado had several hard pieces, it was not ripe. This is a simple fix, pls have staff know what a ripe avocado's texture feels like as it's being peeled and smashed. Something is amiss with this Jersey Mike's. A few things that stood out: Very light on the meat. I ordered a giant ($13.99) Chicken Philly and it was mostly bread and cheese. Very little chicken. Unlike JW other locations I have visited. Taste was just average. Nothing special at all. After I ordered they never asked me what I wanted on my sandwich. Usually you walk your sandwich down the line as they ask you how you want it. I had to go back and ask for tomatoes. This place needs work on service and quality. Too bad, I was looking forward to having this place in the neighborhood. There were at least a dozen employees working at lunchtime but still took forever. PS, with a bag of chips and a drink I was out $18.50! That's the biggest crime of all. read more

Came to the store to pick up sandwich meals for the family on Saturday eve. As I was on the phone trying to get the requests right, I was being continually disrupted by a female employee (Ashley). She continued to repeat, "You need to wear a mask." I finished my call and asked her if she was going to take my order? Ashley barked that, "you need to wear a mask!" I actually had a mask on, however my nose and mouth were exposed. I told her that I had other instructions from my doctor and again asked if she was going to take my order. Ashley emphatically told me NO. She stated that it was the store rule to not serve anyone that was not wearing a mask. I was the only ex-customer in the store. Ashley just had to spout aloud that I was going to get someone sick... She was wearing a Jersey Mike's outfit!?!? I didn't see any medical credentials. Great customer service??? I asked Ashley for the name and contact number for the store owner and she refused to provide it, however (with a flippant response) she told me that I could call corporate.
