I also tried the lasagna and sadly the sauce was too runny and almost watered down. If they could get the sauce thicker, this dish could be really amazing. Last of all, our server was very friendly. But we were forgotten as soon as a big table walked in. In general, it just wasn't busy enough between basically three tables occupied in the whole place to be that slow to check back. The crust disconnects like a sock coming off a foot. Work on this. This is not right. The crust needs to be integrated into the meat. It's not supposed to be a sleeve fitting over the meat. It's not a jacket that the meat takes off once it sits down on the plate. And the meat is not tender. There's ligaments, veins, or whatever these little hard to cut stringy things holding the meat together are. There's too much trouble/shooting necessary on the CFS at Hondo's.
