We got a perfectly made giant "Big Kahuna Cheesesteak" today at Jersey Mike's new location in FiDi. I am happy to see them growing. Jersey Mike's has always been a solid sandwich shop with fresh meats, veggies, and sauces. A big thank you & shoutout to Will who made us such a wonderful sub. This is a tiny mostly grab and go location that is kept clean and neat. There are ice tea options as well as cold drinks in the fridge. I noticed cookies that were mostly sold out by time I was there around 6pm and I do wish they had more of a dessert selection, but their absolutely yummy sammies that my family loves more than makes up for it....hmm, wait, maybe you all can add an ice cream station? Can't complain too much as one of our coworkers treated the staff to subs. I never had it before but I've always passed by this place . I opted for tuna melt. It was ok (wish the tuna was warm). I also think the subs are pretty small. I'd probably prefer Subway though in my opinion, which isn't too far from this place. read more

Got the super sub sandwich mike's way. The sandwich was good -- there was a good amount of meat and the bread was fresh, but the Mike's way option had too much oil and made the sandwich too messy to eat. I'll also add this sandwich is not that great value ($16)-- I wasn't sure what size would come out when I ordered this online but it was shorter than a Subway foot long and not that great for sharing. read more

I've been waiting for this to open by my office and it finally did so I ordered for pick up! #8 club sub giant on rosemary parm bread. Omg it was delicious and everything I was hoping for. Soft bread, delicious and perfectly paired fillings. Perfect amount Oil and vinegar. Sandwich is pretty pick and sliced into 4 good size sections. This location is brand new so it's clean and sparkly. Didn't really interact with staff as I did a pick up but they seem friendly! I'll be back for sure read more

Was really happy when this location opened a year ago because I love a real Italian sub with dressing and generous cold cuts of choice; I visit almost once a month. Yesterday, I bought a my go-to regular size Original Italian sub and there was 25% less cold cuts than when I bought the same sub from this location exactly a month ago. You could tell there was much less cold cuts, mostly ham, the edges of the sandwich bread would meet, if you know what I mean when before cold cuts spilling out of the edges, and only a couple of slices of salami and pepperoni and cappacuolo and could barely taste them. If I wanted a mostly bread Italian sub, I would have gone to Subway and paid a lot less Oh yeah, prices went up also last 6 months by a lot. I hope it's just a one time employee glitch but the chain was bought by private equity firm Blackstone recently so maybe they directed all the locations to cut back on filling to save on costs as if customers would not notice. I'm sorry Jersey Mike's but if this happens again, likely I will not be back. There are far too many sub takeout choices to spend more to get less on. read more

The last two times I've been to this location my food hasn't even been started by the pick up time given online. Both times I've let the staff know I'm there and the pick up name and they ignore me and move on to other customers doing walk in's who came in after me. Meanwhile no one is separately working on mobile orders. The first time was much worse than the second, with me waiting almost 25 minutes past the time I arrived in the store, which was already 5 minutes past the pick up time given. I try to come here for a swift lunch and it's always the opposite. I complained through Jerseys Mikes online customer service two weeks ago and no one ever reached back out to me. read more

The only thing I wish they would stop doing is turning the vinegar and oil upside down versus sideways so they put way too much vinegar and oil on the sandwich but if you're really into sandwiches, Pasilio is number one jersey Mike's is number two and a distant third is Jimmy John's all within the same block.. read more

I cannot believe this opened right by my job. It is pretty crowded when I came here for lunch for the first time. There was a long line waiting to order and thankfully there was a pickup option where you can order online and do pickup. I ordered a #42 chipotle chicken cheese steak in regular size along with a bag of chips, Miss Vickie's BBQ and a bottled Dasani water. The bag of chips is a very small portion. Cannot believe it with my eyes that it was that little in the bag. The chips filled 1/3 of the bag! It wasn't worth the price. It was $2.20! In my opinion the sandwich was pretty good and very fresh. Chicken was not fatty at all and lean meat so you know it is very healthy! Gonna try out other styles next time. So yesterday I decided to venture out of my office for lunch with a sando on my mind. I kept walking past recently and was like wait where did I see it- boom on Fulton. So I begin to walk down and would you know on the day that I chose to try it out the line was visibility pouring out of the door and onto the sidewalk. It made me ponder my choice but curiosity won me over and I stepped in. So here is precisely where they lost a star. The inside was madness. A rope dividing a left and right side but everyone was all jumbled up on the shape of a Y so I was not even sure where to stand. Had to figure it out in a quick NY minute and in that same minute like 5 more ppl packed in behind me. Looking over the counter there was food (everywhere) on the counter and on the floor. I kept hearing ppl tell them to change the gloves and saying they don't care about contamination which sounds alarming. But the staff was literally pumping out subs like a copy machine. There were getting BUSY. They weren't playing around chatting they were taking orders pushing out orders and accepting payments in between trying to keep the gloves on and off. They looked like they were all in HS or college and a young African American woman was calming addressing the line taking orders efficiently and then joining the team to make as well. Everyone had a task. I feel like they just need guidance on how to manage a rush better. One man on the grill one in the back and 3 or ppl in the front. The sandwich was GLORIOUS it's a 5 star sandwich by itself. It tasted like Blimpies which I haven't had for over 20 years. I don't know if that exists but the bread is soft and not dense. The options were exciting and the toppings were minimal; lettuce, tomato, salt, pepper, mayo, oil/vinegar pickles and I think peppers. So it's not like subway it's not like the local deli it's is soft and saucy and satisfying. I understand why the line was long and the chaos. Frankly I don't know if more staff would help because I saw that the space they were working with was small but some option to limit the amount of food waste is needed here like an emergency. There is no parking, there have fountains drinks and chips 4/5 I am not sure I would recommend or return. read more

The staff when I went was not very attentive and the person making our sandwiches, it was first day and he was a little nervous and none of the staff was trying to assist him. Then a line formed and one of the people on line asked one of the other staff could they make her sandwich the person said yes. I've had several experiences at this jersey mikes. The one I had was by far the worst I've ever had which will stop me from coming back. There were 3 employees,2 of which were just lounging around and not helping the 1 female African American worker who was taking their sweet time and would stop every waking moment any of the other 2 employees said anything. Then had the audacity to tell me they were backed up when it was her who was taking her sweet time to do anything. Took 25 minutes for a pickup. Important to note there were about 15 orders sitting there from hours prior I'm assuming from people who were fed up with waiting. Avoid this location absolutely ridiculous. read more

This was my 3rd visit to this establishment. The last two visits were pleasant, and I was expecting the same level of customer service, but I was fooled. The staff was so unprofessional, using foul language and hanging out in the back. The store wasn't crowded, so there were only two employees, both males, in the front. One took my order, and the other, who was new to the store today, was being extra careful with my sandwiches and apologized for being slow, but he wanted to get my order right. There were at least 5 employees in the back, talking to each other; one person was eating. Two customers came in after me, and they waited at least five minutes before someone took their orders. I am patiently waiting for my sandwiches, and their order is sitting on the counter, awaiting condiments. Out of 6 employees, no one assisted. Until the customer got impatient and asked the female employee if she was the manager, and she said, No and said to the woman, I like your outfit, " to keep her calm, as she knew the customer was getting upset. The customer then asked if she could make the sandwiches, and she said, yes but you have to wait. This was appalling to me as I was about to put on some gloves and make the sandwich myself. Will I ever go back? NOT AT ALL. It makes me want to appreciate my corner deli even more. I suggest management retrain their staff and impose professional manners at all times, starting with "Hello, welcome to Jersey Mike, how can I assist you?" read more

I live right near Pisillo's which is a few blocks away, so I usually get one of those when I want an Italian sandwich, probably the best in NYC. But I grew up on Blimpies and other cheap chain subs, so once in a while I get a craving for a sloppy, oily chain sandwich. Jersey Mike's fits the bill. I have had six or seven subs from the Fulton street store since it opened. They hit the spot looking for the "Blimpies" experience. But last week might make me swear them off. I ordered a roast beef and cheese hero from them, "Mike's Way". While standing and waiting for the sandwich to be made, I noticed that the lettuce was starting to turn slightly brown on the edges, like it has been sitting for a long time. I also didn't like the way they handled the roast beef. Something looked "off" about the color of the sliced side. But I stupidly took the sandwich home and ate it anyway. Within hours, I had violent loose diarrhea. I was as sick as a dog and it lasted for over two days. I'm sure it was the sandwich. I would advise extreme caution eating here. Look at the lettuce, onions and tomatoes before you order. If they don't look right, walk away. I will say that I never got sick there before, but even one time is inexcusable. read more

The staffs are very friendly and quick in making the subs. The quality and taste is consistent with all their other locations. Placed a delivery order from Jersey Mike's and it was a disaster. They sent it to the wrong apartment, and when I finally got it, both the sandwich and drink were wrong. I called the store and they immediately blamed DoorDash. DoorDash told me the store had to process the refund. Called back--store refused. Asked for a manager, was told no one was available. The woman on the phone gave me attitude, then told me to come into the store. I reminded her I ordered delivery--why would I go there to fix their mistake? Neither Jersey Mike's nor DoorDash wanted to take responsibility. I was given the runaround, no solution, just blame and disrespect. Terrible customer service.
