Never had a JM sandwich. This location opened today and placed an order on the app. I ordered the Cheesesteak sandwich. I picked up the sandwich on the pick-up time provided. The place was busy, pretty long line, 10+ people. I went to the pick-up area, was greeted by one of the employees, and asked if I was picking up. I procided my name and was given my order. Placing an order online was a breeze and convenient. The employees here seem nice. I got home and bit the shit oout of my order. The Cheesesteak sandwich was so tasy. Love JMs! Used to get this all the time when I traveled to Dallas. Got my first sandwich today via mobile order and it was great. They did forget my chips which I had to go back and get. They are new so I'll give them a break. But if someone reads this please use it as a training opportunity. Someone should double check what's on the order receipt is in the bag. It takes 5 seconds and really does make the difference in a positive customer experience. I ordered online and it took over an hour till I received my sandwiches. I sat in the restaurant for 45 minutes and the staff would barely acknowledge me and when they did they said they were busy. The guy doing the to go orders stopped making sandwiches and started doing other things like filling bottles. I was told I could cancel my order but my card was already charged and I don't trust them to refund me. This is insane I won't be back. read more

Came here the other day and thought customer service was great. Everyone was friendly except this one young guy who didn't seem like he wanted to be there. Anyways the other people were really nice. There was this blonde girl who was really helpful explaining the options and was also the cashier Ordered a cold and hot sandwich. They cut the meats and cheese in front of you which is nice. Sandwich was pretty good. Would of been nice toasted but it was flavorful and not soggy. Hot sandwich was tasty as they used quite a bit of cheese which I liked. Pros- Nice size sandwich and pretty simple and straightforward. Most staff were pretty friendly and helpful. Pretty clean when I walked into the store. Cons- food takes a while to make so maybe it is because it is a new place or maybe because thats just how it is. So expect a wait when ordering Customer Service- there are high schoolers/ students who work here who are grouchy and not pleasant. Definitely not the place to be working. read more

I had a great #13. I loved the shredded lettuce and the thin sliced meats and cheese. There were lots of employees and I don't have to wait for anything. The sandwiches themselves are great but there is disorganization when it comes to managing online orders vs instore. Twice now I have ordered online with a given time for pickup. I arrive 5 minutes after the time and it was obvious there were online orders backed up from the tickets and while I waited customer after customer were ordering in the store, being tended to paying and walking out with orders. It took my order over an hour to complete (4 sandwiches) and still there were tons of orders coming in. The service was completely focused on I store only... I ordered a regular size #17~ Mike's Famous Philly: Grilled onions, peppers & American cheese. However, I asked to substitute Provolone cheese instead. They happily obliged me without hesitation. They have a delicious menu and a lot of variety. My Mike's Famous Philly was Amazing!! The absolute best I've had since I was in High School some 40+ years ago. The ambiance was great as well, nice and clean. I'd highly recommend this location. And I plan on returning soon. Thank you for coming to Contra Costa County. We needed a Great Sandwich Shop!! The cashier, Hunter, was a total jerk and told me to "relax" when I told him they made the sandwich wrong for the fourth time. Then forget to charge me for a sandwich, so I had to go through the process again. Hunter needs to be placed somewhere else on the line. I placed online takeout orders from this location on two occasions. Both times, my bag was missing a sandwich! That's a big problem and they need to do a better job of checking orders. It's one thing for a sandwich to be missing an ingredient, but to order three sandwiches and get two or order two sandwiches and get one is totally unacceptable. I'm glad that I checked my bag before leaving. If it had been a DoorDash order, I would have just been out of luck and someone in my family wouldn't have gotten a sandwich. It's not hard to check to make sure that a takeout order has all of its items and they need to slow down and be more careful.
