My friend and I peeped this Jersey Mikes, and we said we would have to try it out for the first time. Located close to Clayton, it's in a plaza full with other nice restaurants I ordered through the app. Simple and effective. I ordered the Italian, which came with Pepperoni, Salami and other meats. It was packaged well and ready after 15-20 minutes. Indoors was clean, spacious and busy for a Sunday!

Between a 3 to 4. The bacon ranch was solid with lots of flavor and texture. However the Chipotle didn't have any kick. The wait was a bit long for the sandwiches. But I think we arrived at the end of a rush so it might have been the timing. The place is new and modern with plenty of parking. They took the place of Yogurt Shack. I would try again to see if other options are better.

I've got to say it... I was originally pretty disappointed that Jersey Mike's replaced the yogurt shack. I had thought of Jersey Mike's as another subway, a low quality chain sandwich restaurant. After I was given a coupon to try a free Jersey Mike's sub, I decided it was finally time to cope with the yogurt shack loss. I ordered the Smokey southwestern cheesesteak. The ingredients appeared to be fresh, and it was made to order. I was able to watch the employees make a few other cold sandwiches, and all of the meat is sliced to order! I was pleasantly surprised by the cheesesteak sandwich. It was savory and cheesy, yet not overly greasy. I would stop into a Jersey Mike's location on a road trip or for a quick lunch now that I have tried it!

I've been curious to try since they opened, so I came with my bf to pickup sandwiches for dinner. We both ordered the Giant size (they were NOT exaggerating with the size name) and we both had enough for lunch the next day. The young man who made our sandwiches was amazing- a perfect example of exemplary customer service! He was attentive and super quick. I typically like to modify my sandwiches at other shops, but I love the "Mikes Way" and the rosemary Parmesan bread was super fluffy and fresh. The sandwiches are definitely worth the price as well in my opinion.

This place needs a new manager, 30 min wait for 1 sandwich that was placed online because the staff was playing rather than making the food.

I wanted to give this Italian deli a try, so I decided to go with their Dagwood Sandwich. When I…read morelooked at the menu for online ordering, I got super confused because they had the Dagwood listed under 3 different sections. 2 of them had a starting price of around $17, while one had a starting price of around $13. I figured I'd go with the $13 one, why not? Then I quickly realized that the ordering system was a whole mess. It gave me the option to customize my sandwich, but some of the required fields didn't make any sense at all. For example, I don't like olives, but it required me to select olives. Then there were 2 separate sections for extra meat and extra ingredients, and those were required too, and both came with additional charges!!! I thought requiring customers to add extra ingredients and charging them extra because of that was totally ridiculous. If I don't want extra meat or extra ingredients, I should be able to leave those options blank and still place my order. But I couldn't proceed to place my order if I didn't select those. I ended up trying to go with the $17 option instead with minimal customization options. I eventually just placed the order, went to the store, and picked it up. As for the sandwich itself, it was pretty standard in size and the quality was decent, but there really wasn't much going on inside. It was basically just bread, meat, and cheese. There weren't even any vegetables! No lettuce whatsoever. I thought that was really weird for a sandwich to be very bare like this, especially given that the final total cost was $19 for a single sandwich from a small deli. I expected a lot more from a sandwich at that price! Again, the sandwich wasn't bad, but I didn't think it was worth $19.

This message is purely on the price and the service of things I came in with my 2 daughters and ordered a total of 5 sandwiches, 3 of which were literally ham and cheese for my obvious 2 daughters that were with me and 1 for my son who was at home when asked if plain I said yes they just want ham and cheese and plain no mayo on one due to my small daughter being picky on sliced bread at that.. He makes them and it comes out to 70 dollars.. I had to get more money as my husband had sent it to me , the guy who made my sandwiches told the guy that I needed to pay and the shorter guy replied to him like yeah I told her, but she needs more money. I kind of felt embarrassed due to the tone he had said it in, needless to say when I was paying, I said something along the lines of $70 was kind of a lot. I didn't know that ham and cheese for a kid would be this expensive in which the guy replied we have kids sandwiches All you have to do is ask... I did not feel like that was a kind response..as again there was attitude.. I paid anyway and I get it things are expensive nowadays and something like a ham and cheese I probably could've made at home but decided to support a local business instead... suggest maybe adding kid options to the menu that's up above and a smile would go very far. I won't be going here again unfortunately.

But it lacks soul. It lacks spirit. It doesn't have any of the flavor that the Genova's in Oakland had and each sandwich churned out is indicative of that. It's just not that good. And for a sandwich you have to wait a mighty long time for, it better be good. Real good. So, I've come to terms with the fact that I don't have a Genova's left to go to and that's okay.
