$9 and and a 20+ minute wait to order for a half pastrami sandwich that's not even the size of my hand? Yikes.... Obviously everything is more expensive these days but that's pretty lame. Honestly Jersey Mike's down the street is a much better option if you are gonna grab a sandwich

I just moved to the neighborhood and I happened to see this place while I was moving. It's not the greatest sandwich in the world but def a cool spot. There's wine, cheese, bread and olives and all sorts of stuff! Great deli spot that I'd love to check more out. I've had a mortadella sandwich there and a meatball! I'll have to try more!

My Italian combo. Mortadella Hot Coppa and Molinari salami

Was in the area for a surgery for my cat and googled delicatessen because my friend would not stop talking about cravings for a good sandwich. When this came up I think I recall one in Napa so I stopped by. Took a number at the door. Friendly lady took my order for the Italian combo but they tried to put olive loaf and head cheese and I said could we please have mortadella, coppa and salami. She was kind and made a delicious sandwich! I tried to purchase some molinari Fennel salami but they didn't have any. Sad. You can eat inside or outside at some tables. Also some additional outdoor picnic tables in the parking lot. Lots of premade salads and options including nice looking desserts. Wine section. Large frozen foods section as well as grocery area for those Italian things you need like DeCecco pasta, sauces and carnaroli rice for risotto. I'll be back!

Says they close at 5:30pm but went in at 4:50pm to order a Rueben and they refused to make it because they already cleaned the panini maker. They said they could make a cold sandwich but unfortunately I need a hot sandwich. Disappointing.

First time at this place, decided to try it out their lunch sandwiches. $18.49 for a small sandwich and it was certainly not worth the money. Quality and taste was about the same as a jimmy johns.

It is definitely on the pricier side, which is really the only thing that held it back for me. Don't get me wrong, the Genova's in the big (little) Dub Cee does what it can to keep up and turns out some pretty decent sandwiches. It has all the trademark imported knickknacks (biscotti, multicolored taffy in well-worn bins, boxed panettone, etc.) as well as traditional staples like wine, fresh pasta and the famed Genova's brand boxed frozen ravioli for you to take home and spoil your family with in a variety of flavors like artichoke, mushroom and even pumpkin. But it lacks soul. It lacks spirit. It doesn't have any of the flavor that the Genova's in Oakland had and each sandwich churned out is indicative of that. It's just not that good. And for a sandwich you have to wait a mighty long time for, it better be good. Real good. So, I've come to terms with the fact that I don't have a Genova's left to go to and that's okay. Sometimes it's better to have loved and lost (a sandwich) than never to have loved at all.

How many groceries carry "American wagyu-style beef?" or fresh Scottish salmon?" (Not to mention how nice their butchers are, they are so willing to help with any specific cuts or instructions you need). -The deli has a great selection of cold-cuts, salads and makes killer sandwiches. -The cheese dept has an excellently-curated selection, far better than the chain stores. -Their in-house produced entrees are delicious, as well as the best local bakery/bread offerings. -Their checkout staff are friendly, beyond simply emptying your cart. They offer assistance to your car and have "associates" in the parking lot to help with parking and cart retrieval. This is "old-school" service in the 21st century...(obviously, they can't charge chain-store prices; they don't have the same buying power), but I definitely get value when I shop there...kudos to Diablo Foods, you "rock!"

I come back here once every week or two after placing an order via fax for my work place. So why only four stars? They unfortunately can get rushed, and miss stuff on the faxed in order sheets. Fortunately, the food inside lives up to the '80's music. This place is a little Eastern-European treasure chest. The meat selection alone is worth the trip: excellent veal sausages, proper kabanosy (both American-made and the legit European imports), and enough smoked and cured options to make you reconsider every bland sandwich you've ever eaten. Then there's the sweets. Not just a few shelves: an impressively deep lineup of Eastern European treats, both loose and packaged. The kind where you walk in thinking you'll grab one thing and leave with three mysterious chocolates and something wrapped in gold foil. It's also my most reliable solution for a sudden Żywiec beer craving. And if that's not the mood, there's always a jar of pickled mushrooms waiting patiently. This time, though, I wanted to try something different, so I went with the chicken and mushroom filling. It was also very tasty. One thing I really like is that they focus more on the filling, and the bread is not too thick. It always has that slightly greasy goodness in the best way. So yummy. As much as I enjoyed the food, my interaction with the woman working there this time was not great. When I arrived, she was unpacking a box. She saw me but did not greet me or ask if I was ready to order. I stood there awkwardly for a few minutes before she finally asked. It would have been nice to be acknowledged right away. I ordered two different fillings, and when she was packing them, I asked if she could please label them so I would know which one was which. She responded by saying, "I wasn't going to make you guess." I did not find that very friendly. In fact, I thought it was borderline rude. I still really enjoyed the food, but that interaction took away from the overall experience a little bit. I wish the customer service had been a bit warmer.
