Pretty good, nothing like a sub I've ever had in Jersey, except for the shredded lettuce. Mind you, I grew up in NJ and lived there almost 25 years and I had NEVER heard of this place. Don't order any veggie options from these guys. I recently ordered a Veggie Wrap that turned out to be what is effectively a shredded iceberg lettuce burrito with two slices of tomato thrown in. Jersey Mike's is delicious! I love the number 7 (my typical order) and the roast beef and provolone, both always Mike's Way, sub pickles for tomatoes. Despite what another reviewer indicated, I've never had problems subbing ingredients. Regardless of what sub you decide on, the rosemary bread is the way to go! With any sub, the ingredients are so fresh (fresh cold cuts, it's AMAZING in a fast-food type place)! The subs are truly east coast style subs (not really hoagies, it's not a hoagie roll...) with dressing and spices. I love Mike's Way, but because these are still fast food tomatoes (and lettuce and onions), I just can't do the tomatoes. Adding some pickles is really delicious and adds a nice zest to the sub. This place does get crowded, but I've always been able to get through the line quickly and we just take the subs home since I live down the street. It would probably be un=fun to have to search for a table some days, but if you can take your food to go, it's so much better than any other sub place I've had in the area. I've had good experiences with the servers, and I think they pretty much know me now, as I stop in regularly. I usually take it home to eat and have to use a dish towel as a napkin. It's crammed with a generous portion of ingredients, spilling over the edges of the bread. Very soft and moist. Absolutely fabulous. They're also very considerate of vegetarians here, offering to clean the area before building the vegetarian choices. Just let them know. You can add chips and a drink. The two hot subs I ordered were still warm by the time I got them home. We all enjoyed our dinner. Pricing was a bit higher than I expected, till I realized I had ordered 18" subs. Didn't realize they were so big. I was used to ordering from Subway I guess. This place doesn't have as big a selection as Subway, but their quality is WAY better. I've heard so much about this place, so we finally went to check it out. I ordered the Chipotle Steak grinder, the description said red & green peppers, onions, cheese and Chipotle mayo. There was ONE microscopic sliver of red pepper. If there was onions and green peppers on there, they were invisible! This sandwich was nothing more than edible. Good place, a small complaint... Went in on a weekend afternoon to try the legendary Jersey Mike's. I was greeted quickly by a friendly guy, I always give kudos for that. Had the club supreme, and it was made quickly with plenty of seemingly fresh ingredients. The sandwich was pretty good flavor wise, but frankly it wasn't over the top as I expected. It was adequate enough to try again! My one complaint was that the bacon was literally sitting out in the open, not near any heating source, open to the air! And he put that bacon on my sandwich. As a normal guy's guy, didn't bother me that much, but I know others wouldn't have it, I hope they read and address this. All in all the flavor was good, a very filling sub. My wife and I ordered sandwiches for pickup. She got what she ordered. Mine came with banana peppers that I didn't order or want but without the pickles I wanted and ordered. I ordered a bag of chips, and did get a bag of chips but didn't get the ones I ordered. After all that, the sandwiches both seemed dry. I've had better at Jersey Mike's before and at Subway. Let me just start by saying that they do have really good Subs when you do get it right, the problem is when you call in your order and they tell you be ready in 20 minutes you go there 30 minutes later and the sandwich is not even started and then you gave you a sandwich and it's totally completely wrong, I suggest if you want to get a sandwich at Jersey Mike's you need to stay in line and order it and make sure you repeat what you want on it or don't want on it because they have a bunch of teenagers that just stand around and don't listen to what you were telling them.... I've been there five times and I've only been happy ones..... the other thing is you get a mini sub plain basic with tuna and cheese you still pay full price it is extremely expensive but it would be worth it if you actually get the correct sub. read more

The girl was nice, smile and pleasant. The 2 guys seemed like they didn't want to be there at all. Made me feel like I was annoyance and not a paying customer. Ole Mike can make a tasty sub, I will give him that. I like it because they cut all the meats and cheeses right in front of you and they place it on the bread with care. The same goes with all the veggies, unlike other sub chains Jersey Mikes employees actually seem to care about making a good sandwich. I love Jersey Mike's. The only reason that I give it 4 stars is because I always seem to have an issue with their promotions. I usually have to call the order in and then use the card reader at the store to process the order. That process pretty much voids the convenience of ordering on site and then bypassing the line to pick up my order. Most businesses that offer coupons and specials have the whole process homogenized in a manner that makes it easy for the consumer. I love saving money when they have special offers, but don't like the extra hassle involved with trying to redeem them. Must make a lot of extra work for the workers, also, if they are having to deal with extra phone calls and "on site"" credit card charges. Frustrating. read more

I've been a fan of Jersey mikes since 2019 and I have gone to the same store every time so I got used to the service and got to know the people in that store. Well last week a key member left that store and the company after 15 years. Things have already changed. Manager sitting at a table staring at her phone. The kid that made my sandwich also had to add the condiments and I commented on that and he said they were new, I sat down and ate my sub taking in the atmosphere as people walked in and it seemed as though the only ones the got a greeting were women. Not complaining but should be consistent. I took my time enjoying my sub and cleaned my table to leave and noticed now there were several employees on their phones and the manager never moved from that spot and was still on her phone.
