First time at this chain. I figured it was like Subway, but it isn't. I really like how they slice the meat for your sandwich in front of you as opposed to pre-slicing it and letting it dry out in the fridge. Came at noon and the staff was ready for the lunch crowd. You can actually see the meat on the sandwich, they use real mayo, toast the bun, run it through the garden and finish with actual pepper relish. They leave out add-ons that cost extra on purpose, every time, which would make me think it's the owner telling them to do it, if they were competent workers, so who knows. read more

We love Jersey Mike's but this location has repeatedly provided a bad experience. Whether it be the slow lines, improper making of sandwiches when ordering on line, or poor customer service, this site falls way short of the Jersey Mike's location on Greenville near Lovers Lane. I would compare the experience here during peak hours to what it's like at the DMV trying to get your license renewed. We won't go back to this location ever again due to the repeated bad experiences. read more

There are a handful of better hole-in-the-wall delis and sandwich shops out there but if you want a fast and delicious sandwich consistently across several locations, Jersey Mike's is where it's at! I've dined in and ordered to go at a handful of Jersey Mike's, including this one, and it's always been a good experience. I'm not a fan of their hot sandwiches (the meat is always bland) but the cold sandwiches are great. They use fresh ingredients and don't slice your meat or cheese until you order it. The topping selection isn't as crazy as a couple of other huge sub sandwich chains out there but they have what you need. A regular sandwich is about 8" long while a giant is a giant 16" (I think; I haven't measured them). Depending on type, the regulars run about $7-9 with chips and a large drink ringing in at another $2.79. The line moves fast, there's almost always a place to sit, and the crew behind the counter have always been friendly and polite. read more

Don't get the cold subs. The cold subs are pretty much subpar for a sub shop. The only reason to go to Jersey Mike's is for the cheesesteak subs. I'd been to a Jersey Mike's in the past for a regular sub and was terribly disappointed. There aren't that many toppings to pick from and it was very bland. Even Subway does a better cold sub. I'd never planned to return again. It was a 2 star restaurant in my mind. Clean and nothing terribly wrong...but one of the most boring Coworkers convinced me that their hot sandwiches were good and I should give it another try, so I did. The first cheesesteak I got was pretty good. I was ready to write a 4 or 4.5 star review. Then I went back again and tried a different flavor. It was inedible. Stay far away from the chipotle version because the sauce is just terrible. I went back again and tried a third variety...again it was no good. Finally went back one last time and got the basic cheesesteak and this time it just wasn't as good as the first time. The cheese wasn't even melted all the way and the peppers in the sandwich were just way too sweet. Overpoweringly sweet. They can have 3 stars for being super friendly with great customer service...but I'm just not impressed with the food. I imagine I'll end up back here on occasion because the coworkers love to go....but it really just isn't worth it. read more

You would think that they would do that after they close so they can continue serving customers up until 9 when they actually close. Sandwiches are delish! I usually get the club sub (#8) and its SO GOOD. Bacon is actually thick and crispy, it's not like that see through microwavable bacon other places use. I have tried calling this location to place an order and they won't answer the phone. I have tried several different days/times but most recently today between 4:30-5:00 when it's not a busy time and no one would answer. So I had to call the Lover's location which was further away for me. They were very nice and even called the Preston Center store to see if they answered and they did right away because it was a call from the sister store. Whoever was working today 9/17 between 4:30-5:00 is lazy and purposely didn't answer customer calls. Hmmm. Should they be fired? That's pretty crappy customer service. And I had to go out of my way to go to another location. Very annoying. read more

For a quick sandwich near the office, Jersey Mike's does a great job. The Chipotle Beef Sandwich is finger dripping good, definitely give it a whirl. The meatball is good, not great, good if you are in the mood for one. Prices are a little higher, but you seem like you're not eating awful Subway and they even cook things fresh for you. read more

I have always enjoyed the sandwiches at this location and I work nearby so it's a short walk away. I have noticed that a good group of folks work there and they are always cheerful and courteous. However, for lunch to day I watched as an elderly man inquired about a certain sandwich, the cost, the fixings, etc. The gentleman that was at the slicing station was so kind, empathetic, and helpful to this elderly man that it warmed my heart. read more

Come at lunch when the bread is the freshest or if you want the Rosemary bread. 9 out of 10 times, they run out of the Rosemary bread when I try to come after 6:00 pm (hence the 4 star rating).
