##8 Club Sub with Roast Beef
    Javier P.

I think this was my first time at Jersey Mike's. Pretty damn good subs. The meats are sliced in front of you and freshly made at an awesome speed. I ordered the giant number 8 with roast beef with wheat bread. Love how they slice the giant sub into 4 mini subs which makes it easier to eat, share or save for yourself to eat later. The bacon gave each bite a good crunch. The giant sub feels a bit heavy with all the meat and toppings. I think my arm got tired walking to my car. Looking forward to coming back. I've also been told they have a secret menu.

#13 The Original Italian - regular sized (4 stars)

Review is for Doordash delivery: Sometimes you just want to have a nice sandwich for lunch. It can be made and delivered quickly, and there's just that sensation of biting into some chewy bread and all those layers of savory meat! Before this pandemic I normally get a big deli sandwich for lunch a few times a week at Little Louises in Point Richmond. I have not been back for 13+ months! Luckily, Jersey Mike's offers up some pretty excellent subs. Their Original Italian is a great choice, especially with crunchy rosemary parmesan bread. The meats and veggies all tasted fresh and the flavors melded together well. I think its my first time having cappacuolo! Way better than anything you get from Subway's for sure! For dessert I got their Butterscotch Krimpets Tastycake. These decadent, super-sweet spongecakes are definitely an East-coast thing. My buddy from grad school went to Penn State undergrad and raved about Tastycakes! At 320 calories, a package of Tastycakes is about the same as an It's It Ice Cream Sandwich, LOL! Until I return to the office on a regular basis, I'll be happy to add Jersey Mike's to my lunch delivery rotation.

Chicken #26 Bacon Ranch Chicken Cheese Steak

We tried Jersey Mike's for the first time recently and discovered a nice addition to our sandwich place rotation. The downtown Danville location is right on Hartz and Diablo, next to the clock tower. It's a great, central location with a parking lot behind the building. We visited a little bit after lunchtime and were served right away. The staff members were courteous and got our food ready pretty quickly. My husband got the Original Italian cold sub, but I wanted a hot sandwich. I decided to try the Bacon Ranch Chicken Cheesesteak, which is a BLT with chopped chicken and ranch. I'm a huge ranch fan so I knew I'd like this sandwich. It was delicious and filling. A perfect hearty meal on a cold day. We also tried the chocolate chip cookies, which fulfilled our sweet tooth cravings.

Love this place. Love the bread. Fresh sliced cold cuts. Finally a sub shop worthy of my east coast upbringing.

I tried their pick up option online so I could order and pay without waiting. The app even tells when your order is ready. I decided to build my own sandwich and ordered a roast beef and turkey sandwich on Dutch crunch with everything. Picked it up to a friendly greeting and smiles from all of the staff. Took it home to eat and wow this was a huge sandwich and full of ingredients. Unfortunately I noticed quickly it was all turkey and no roast beef. They forgot my meat. I sure hope they get it right next time. I should say that even without my roast beef this was an incredible tasty sandwich. Every bite got better and better. I honestly can say I haven't had a deli sandwich as good as this in a very long time. Probably the best Dutch crunch roll ever and so soft with the perfect amount of crunch and sweetness on top. This sandwich was pure heaven and so big but I was hungry and wanted to go right back for another. Still one of the best sandwiches in the Bay Area and I'm so glad there finally in my hometown of Pleasanton. I'll be back soon and very often I guarantee! It's a must try if you're in the area or even if it's a bit of a drive. Tell em Scotty sent you.

The problem I have is the average 45 minute wait times for my food to reach me from when I finished ordering. They are not making complex dishes, they are making sandwiches and have multiple workers working on them. Either, they are not working as efficiently as they could, in respect to their customer's time or how they are managing the orders isn't efficient enough. I would love to come here for lunch but I cannot wait my whole lunch period just waiting on the food and not have time to actually eat it. It's a shame because I actually like the place but it does not cater to time sensitivity for the average working Joe.

I was determined to find this spot again, because it was THAT amazing. I really wanted to leave a great review and now I have the spot saved for future visits! The owner was super friendly and helpful! He recommended the customer favorite, Chicken Tikka Sandwich, which was one of the best and most unique sandwiches I have ever had! It's different from your typical ham and cheese sandwich. There was so much flavor and everything was nicely cooked and wrapped. The Curry Chicken Salad Sandwich was slightly lighter in flavor, but also very delicious! I'm sure all their sandwiches are great too, but I highly recommend the Chicken Tikka and Curry Chicken Salad Sandwiches!
