The manager CARLOS doesn't seem to smart lol, my little brother can make better decisions than him. I was told I could substitute roast beef for turkey.. when I got to the register I was told it would be a extra charge for extra meat... I explained how I was TOLD I could substitute one meat for the other.. and he said no, it would still be an extra charge.. but when I asked for a whole new sandwich he was willing to remake it.. so let me get this straight ??? You would rather WASTE a sandwich worth of meat and also Use MORE Product to make me a new sandwich ?? Rather than just charging me the normal price of the sandwich.. just wasted everyone's time and wasted more store product. If I could give this review a 0 I most certainly would. Today 2/25/22 I had the absolute worst customer service from a assistant manager by the name of Ryan. I ordered three giant sandwiches and 2/3 was not made as I ordered and paid for. Once I noticed it wasn't correct, I placed all the food back in the bag, called to speak with management and unfortunately he was all that was available. Arrived, told him what was wrong. He somewhat looks at items and tells me what he can do, is just fix the one sandwich. And I told him no you'll either fix them or refund me. When I tell you his attitude was total shit, trust me it was garbage. So, he attempted to go back and forth with me and I wasn't having it. Moral of the story, as a customer give me what I pay for without complaint or refund it. It's that simple. And a little lesson to this power trip assistant manager, learn some customer customer or stay in the back. Because not only were you not helpful, you're a lousy listener and shouldn't be in charge of anything or anyone for that matter. Rancho San Diego Businesses are slowly growing. First a Luna Grill, an upcoming Sports Authority, and now, the ever so famous, Jersey Mikes! It also happens to be right next to a Starbucks! Score! Awesome location for a Jersey Mike's - welcome to the area! Very clean inside, the employees were welcoming. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The line went surprisingly quick -- I say that because I've been to slow locations before or slow sub sandwich places in general. Good variety on menu of hot and cold sandwiches, wraps. (Cold Sandwich = Mike's Way). Ordered a Regular Sized Philly Cheese Chicken sandwich on wheat bread, it's about $8 for 8 inches (maybe more) long. Had bites of the Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich on White, also delicious, the Giant size is about $13. In general, I believe that the sandwiches are overpriced, but definitely well made. When the sandwiches came out, the bread was very cold - we asked if they can heat it up on the grill or microwave it, and they were happy to do so. We swore they came toasted. If you want your bread toasted or warm, you must request it when ordering the sandwich. There were a lot of employees working, we hear them socializing, but working all at once, seems like a great atmosphere. Once people left the table, they cleaned of the tables quickly. read more

Customer services is ehhh just ok. First time here so I didn't know what I wanted and had a bogo coupon which apparently are restrictions on sizes. They seemed irritated when changing my order to accommodate the coupon I was intending on using. I hope these subs * Update review after subs were eaten, Honestly they were not that great, I ordered a meatball sub with extra cheese which did not seem to have, as well as some sort or delux philly steak which said it came with extra cheese and again didn't seem like it, minimal veggie selection. Came in for a late night sandwich with my family from out of town, and we were treated exceptionally! Second time here but first check in. I placed my order by phone so I went to the pay by phone cashier. There was no one there and the cashier next to it was helping someone which was fine I could wait, but that cashier asks me (in a not so nice tone) did you order by phone? I was surprised she was talking to me because of the person in front of her and she was asking like I was stupid to stand there if I still needed to place my order. This was offputing and so was the fact that I wasn't greeted. Anyway a cashier helped me with my order but forgot my jalapeños. I did remind her but even though I asked for extra I only got a small side. The sandwich was ok but it did have some inedible meat which is kind of gross. Customer service here is absolutely terrible. I've been to this location multiple times but today was just horrible. When we first came in they were helping, or should I say making the whole situation difficult, an older man. The cashier was extremely unwelcoming and unhelpful to the older man which made us very uncomfortable. Once they got to us the workers were okay. Cashier still was as well very unwelcoming. My husband and I have been supporting a deli competitor of Jersey Mike's called Deli Belly for years. The last time we went to Deli Belly, not one employee was wearing a mask. So today, my husband decided to buy sandwiches at Jersey Mike's. Not only was it far better than Deli Belly's sandwich (we only purchase veggie sandwiches), all employees were adhering to the CDC guidelines on wearing mask. Jersey Mikes over Subway! I was hungry for some subs so I almost decided to grab Subway but then I remembered that Jersey Mikes opened nearby. I am so glad I chose Jersey Mikes instead! I called in to make an order first and they were very nice and asked all the right questions because I almost forgot to say that I wanted it mikes way. They prepared it very fast and when I opened my sandwich, everything was right. I got the Club Sub Mikes way and it was delicious! The bacon was crisp and everything had so much flavor. I will definitely be heading back there if I am ever craving a sub. I rated it four stars because I did not physically experience the atmosphere of the place. " First Time Here, And Was Surprised " I had never been to Jersey Mike's anywhere before today. As I was entering the Jersey Mike's, Christopher the manager was coming out the front door. He stopped and was very nice as I asked him questions about the menu, and what his favorite sub sandwiches were. As I entered the store i was nicely greeted by Alex and Camron who were also nice. Ruben and Carlos also spoke with me and helped me through the ordering process. I had gone on line and looked at Jersey Mike's Menu and ingredients that you can put on your sandwich. I was a little disappointed that this Rancho San Diego Location does not have the different Rosemary Parmesan Bread Rolls, or Cucumbers, or Pepper Jack Cheese, or Feta Cheese, or Cherry Tomatoes or Romaine Lettuce, as the web site showed it does. The price of the Subs were a little expensive, but the sandwiches did have a lot more meat than Subway puts on there sandwiches. The Jersey Mike's was very clean, and the workers seem to know what they were doing, as they were very organized as they worked together. We had the Italian # 13 sub that was very tasty. read more

This horrible experience happened on my visit today (Saturday 2/20/16) around 10:30ish in the AM. Immediately upon entering the establishment the 2 gals working looked at each other and rolled their eyes as if I was an inconvenience stepping in. I was not even greeted with a "hello". Nothingggg nadaaaaaa. Then I ordered the club sub I believe? Whatever sandwich that comes with turkey ham and bacon. As the girl was making my sub she was slamming the meats on the slicer, giving me dirty looks, and made things very awkward. Such a weird, horrible, awkward experience. And on top of that when I got home my sandwich had no bacon on it...greaaaat. The sub was mediocre nothing special. The bread was hard and not fresh. Sandwich was made wrong, she probably purposely didn't put bacon on. I'm giving this establishment 1 star only because the cashier was a gentleman. The experience I had today was probably the worst customer service I have ever seen before. Definitely will NOT come back to this location ever again. Their corporate trainers need to come down to this location and give the employees an attitude check asap. read more

Placed an order online for 2 subs and a kid's meal, specifying cheese on the side for one of them and jalapeno on the side as well. The employees were busy but also very disorganized. First I was almost given someone else's order. Then it was ready. I asked the employee to check everything was there, including the side items. The jalapenos were missing and were added to the bag, which was then given to me. I decided to check for myself and glad I did. One of the subs was missing...later when I got home, I realized I was never given the cookie that comes with the kid's meal...Absolutely terrible customer service! Ok so positives first- i had a tuna fish sub & it was the best tuna sub ive had! hence the 3 stars, but this place has so much more potential if only they got their customer service right. This was my first visit ever, so the menu was definitely new to me & the staff was NO HELP. Usually when you go somewhere a few suggestions or just small talk makes all the difference. The staff looked unhappy to be there & made the whole visit really uncomfortable. Came last night and although the place was busy, we were helped right away. We ordered a wrap and two mini sandwiches, all of which were delicious. There is something special about the fresh bread and seeing the meats be sliced right in front of you. It's a little more expensive than the competition (aka Subway) but it's worth it. What they could use is more of a selection of veggies because I asked them to leave the onion and tomato off and all that I ended up with was lettuce. Otherwise, it's a treat to come here for us. I go to this jersey mike's once every like two weeks. I like it because the store and the work area is clean. When it first opened it had way better subs than any deli i have been too, but lately its not very well. Sometimes when i go there i don't get the perfect sub they used to do for me. For example, last time i went i got my sub in "mikes way" i told them in advance to not put a lot of oil and vinegar, when i got home the sandwich was swimming in oil and vinegar, in way that i cant taste anything in the sandwich,and it happened multiple times to me lately. But overall, there is way better places to get goood subs around el cajon. read more
