I would like to say I have been here a bunch of times and that's why I keep coming back. Based on My last two experiences I wouldn't come back though. The soda which is usually delicious was broken and I wasn't told so it tasted really bad. The sandwiches were lacking meat and oil and vinegar. For the price of a sandwich I would expect much more. I do want to say that the Manager with the glasses is one of the reasons why I do come back. Just the newer employees need to be trained more. read more

Me and a few coworkers received coupons in the mail for free sandwiches and Ofcourse we chose lunch time to order lol. Once I arrived the store accidentally was missing one of our sandwiches BUT it's was soooo busy there was no way I could of gotten upset. The girl who I wish I could remember her name, kept apologizing and I although I reassured her it was okay she was kind enough to give me a brownie which I did not even see till I got to work but it was such a nice gesture. I even called the store and thanked her. I worked in Starbucks for 6 years so I know how it feels to be under so much pressure and also know as a customer how much the tiniest gestures could change someone's day. Use to go to the jersey mikes in nyc. 1st time getting from this location. Sad to say very underwhelming. 1st off my order was made wrong. Ordered a large chipotle and a small bacon chicken. I got home and it was a large bacon chicken and a small Chipotle. Both sandwiches were very cheap with the meat. I'd compare it to subway range on how much meat they put in the sandwich. Felt pretty ripped off since the large sandwich was about $20 and the small was about $10. Safe to say I'm never going to this location again. Solid subs place in Fort Lee! I don't think you can go wrong with any sandwich here. Unlike Subways where your meats are pre-packaged and heated in a toaster oven, this place cooks your meat upon order and you get it fresh off the grill. It's a stark difference in quality. My favorites so far are the pastrami and the philly cheese. read more

Came here because they had just opened up and I had been sent a free sub flier. The only thing that stood out was the bad service. I get they're new and it's always tough getting the flow going but the worst was the trainer that was there and teaching them how to deal with customers, so incredibly non personable. No smiles no personality....because they're new the sub quality was subpar...they over seasoned over spread and overdressed everything. First of all this place always feels like home. I come early once they open up and the crew is very attentive, quick, and efficient! I usually get the Club Supreme, but most of the time they persuade me to try a different sub to put some spice into my week. This place better shape up real quick. I don't think I've ever seen such chaos, confusion, and lack of awareness at a business in my life. It took 25 mins for a cheesesteak. The girl manning the grill was cooking one hot sub at a time even though the grill is quite large and could fit multiple orders. Many people were upset and complaining openly while all 6 workers looked dazed and all going in opposite directions. It got so bad the manager was giving food away and gave me a huge sub instead of a regular one for the delay. I was stunned how bad the service was. Stay away! I ordered a veggie sub and all i tasted was OIL and BREAD. They poured so much oil on there that it was leaking out of the bag and dripping on to my plate as i was eating it. Not enough lettuce, 2 slices of tomatoes and 2 rings of onions. WASTE OF MONEY. they need to replace the staff or train them properly. This is a disgrace to the business. read more

Ok, so after hearing so much about Jersey Mikes, one finally opened up in Fort Lee, on Lemoine Ave. I was pretty excited because I love a good sandwich!! Yesterday, I made my inaugural visit to Jersey Mikes. Clean shop, friendly staff, so far, so good. I asked, for, I think it's called the Original. While I understand there is a way you make your sandwiches, I don't like what I call a sloppy sandwich. The Sandwich maker took out a half loaf of Italian bread from somewhere behind the slicer and proceeded to slap together my sandwich, pausing to have a conversation with someone in the back of the shop, then finished up my sandwich. Feeling much less excitement as I paid for my sandwich and headed out the door. Finally, I get to taste Jersey Mikes!!! Bread makes any sandwiches taste amazing The bread on it's own is up there with kind u get at a good NYC Deli!! But the sandwich wasn't good, the oil and the vinegar tasted bland and watery, as did the provolone cheese and the meats, everything was bland, no taste, even the oregano blend on the sandwich!! Could not taste the onions, banana peppers, or the tomatoes. There was no snap, bite or sharpness you get From the mixture of the oil, vinegar, and spices. Came here twice with the promotional coupons in the mail and decided to give it a try despite the low rarinf on the yelp page. Was pleasantly surprised by the fast service and the amount of workers there. I got the regular cheesesteak sandwich, which was pretty good and super filling. They also offer mini, regular and large sizes. The price is on the high side compared to Blimpies and Subway, but they have more options for cheesesteaks. The service of this food establishment was pitiful. Me and my girlfriend got pressured into buying the biggest size sub which was $14.50. The young male there was trying to intimidate me for some unknown reason. I do not recommend this to anybody. We came inside greeting the workers and with no response and dirty looks given we just stayed quiet.the sandwich was even more awful then the service. If i could give this location a zero , i would . They have the worst customer service. We walked into the restaurant without any acknowledgement as if my business was unwanted . They do a great job turning away customers based on previous reviews . I had to say hello three times in order to get their attention . I got the philly cheesesteak which was really good and kids subs. I have no complains about this place they always do a good job.

I have been going to Jersey Mike's since I wasn't old enough to walk. My grandfather owned a store and I have been to all of the locations in the North Jersey area. I have to say that this location serves the same high quality subs and the meals are just as delicious as the best Jersey Mike's around. The staff is professional and motivated; they run a tight ship. I suspect the negative reviews below all are from the store's first week open; I imagine these are due to normal growing pains and these reviews are unfair. Sometimes I'll come here during my lunch hour and wait a half hour on line just to get myself a sub. Please come here, you really can't get what they make here across the street. I have been looking forward to this opening. Let's say I was disappointed. Extremely overpriced and the customer service was horrible. 9 bucks for a 7 inch and 15-16 dollars for a 14 inch. This restaurant has screwed up already FOUR TIMES with my order. The fourth time being right now at this moment. I'll order a cold turkey sub with nothing but turkey, mayo, and lettuce .... but they'll give me one with literally every item possible on it. They've given my bf COLD buffalo chicken sandwiches the last 4 times. Do you know how annoying it is to drive through fort lee (town of the worst, slowest drivers) to pick up food while you're starving, go home, realize they gave you the wrong thing, and drive all the way back through fort lee to get what you asked for??? I love Jersey Mike's. I have tried them in Manhattan and in Hartsdale, so on our way out of NYC, we tried the one in Fort Lee. The subs were good but it took 25 minutes to get a philly cheese steak and there were only 2 people ahead of me. 8 families were served with their orders before we got ours. Then they didn't even ask if we wanted anything on it- something the other locations have offered. Not the best customer facing folks. Even the payment was a hassle which we paid before receiving the sub (or we we would have left). Samsung Pay didn't work since the location was having technical issues. Then my credit card took 3 dips into the chip slot before it worked. We had ordered another sub with the cheese steak and the same issues with payment were encountered. read more

Was excited to have a sub shop come into the neighborhood. Ordered the cheesesteak, meatball and Italian subs. Overall experience ordering was good. The 2 stars is mainly because of the bread they use. Heavy and thick. Brings the entire quality of the sandwich down. My advice to them is to change the breads. read more
