Seriously disappointed with this place tonight. Went at 5:05 P.M. and the entire staff of teenagers were in the back talking and not out front. One person on the staff finally saw me, or so I thought, but still waited over 5 minutes. When they finally came out I ordered 2 meatball subs from a rude staff member. Meatball subs are supposed to be from the hot menu but they were stone cold like they were in the fridge. Had to utilize the microwave to heat the food up; this should not be needed. Did not see a manager on location so that I could complain about the inattentive staff and cold food. This place is not worth the time or money any longer with the staff of kids on duty, who don't have any ability to manage themselves or understand good customer service or proper food preparation. Lost my business until they change. I will not be going back to this location; which used to be a good location. read more

Thanks so much for adding gluten free subs to your menu! I used to love your subs, but haven't had one in ages since I had to go gluten free. Then I saw a sign in your window--GLUTEN-FREE OPTIONS. The employees cleaned the slicer thoroughly, cleaned the counters, and changed gloves and knives--without complaints or hidden sneers--all to make me a sub! THANK YOU!! It was delicious (ok-gluten-free bread isn't as good as real bread, but....), and I am very appreciative. read more

The buffalo chicken wrap was wayyy toooo soggy. The customer service is non-existent; what ever happened to service with a smile. Place had not been swept or tables wiped; apparently no manager on site because the employees present were very young and focused on their personal digital devices. My family is super excited about this addition right next door to Wegmans. We stop here after our grocery shopping for lunch or dinner to grab a sub and its so convenient. Nice and clean inside. The service is quick. Order at the counter and watch as they create your sandwich. Mikes way is excellent with all the fixings. The food tastes great and is reasonably priced. They pack the subs nice and tight so its not all falling apart by the time you get home to eat it. read more

This is the worst Jersey Mike's chain I've ever been to and I wish you can give negative starts on Yelp. Read about food poisoning from one of the other reviews. Most of the time the place is empty due to slow or no business, and as result the veggies dry out, becoming wilted and should be thrown away. However, they have no problem putting the stale vegetables on your sub instead of putting it in the trash can. You'll see five employees or more just standing around behind the counter twirling their thumbs, and when I asked them to please remove the dried out veggies from my sub three times, I was ignored three times. Talk about not giving a care about customers or customer service, this place takes the ball. Their meats are paper thin to save money, and they'll drown your sub in pool of oil and vinegar if you ask it Mike's way. Perhaps they do this to drown out the stale food or to say that the wilted veggies are due to the excessive oil and vinegar. I'll never come to this joke of a restaurant again as there are plenty of other sub shops in the area who actually cares about customer service and quality of their food. read more

This place is great! Fast service and very friendly staff! I come here at least once a week and have never been disappointed.

Subs are mediocre but overpriced. It is quite difficult to hear the staff ask you questions about what you would like on the sub. I observed others having the same difficulty hearing the staff. It is quite loud inside this location. read more

This place is HORRIBLE. First of all it's overpriced $30 for 2 regular subs and a salad is a bit much. Was never asked what I did or didn't want on my salad. Further, they dumped the salad sideways in the bag which mixes everything together and turns it into a ugly mess. NEVER AGAIN. read more

The food was good, but I had a rather unpleasant experience with a worker's child. One of the workers had her kids there and the younger one (maybe 3, 4 years old?) was running around climbing and jumping on myself and other customers whilst her mother did nothing about it. I frequented Jersey Mike's back in my college years in NC, and I'm glad they are popping up all over the place. This past weekend I checked out the new location which is very close to home, and it was jammed. At times the line was backing up near the front door, but the staff kept the line moving. I ordered a regular 7 inch philly (also comes in giant size 14 inches!) Their cold sub have 3 sizes that includes the 5 inch mini size. The bread has a great texture and taste. I really enjoyed my philly and the rest of the family liked theirs as well. Kids meal comes with small sandwich, cookie, and drink. On this day the kids drink was the same size as mine, not sure if this is the norm or if they were just out of kids cups. If the former I may skip ordering my drink and just poach on hers. The store is fairly narrow, and a long line can block/intrude on 4 of their 4-tops. Staff was enthusiastic. read more

Food is great. Customer Service is not. The lady next to me was having her sub fixed up with condiments. And they asked if she wanted onions and she asked if they were strong..The employee gave her the most dirtiest look and said "I don't know. All I know is that they go on a sandwich". In reference to the other negative reviews, they must have a new team or a new attitude here because this may be the best Jersey Mike's I've ever been too. It's clean, quick service and very friendly employees. It also has a nice outside seating area with umbrellas. I'll be back when I'm in the area. read more

So I am obsessed with jersey mikes. Not the Gainesville location, however. The kids that work in there are completely disrespectful and all seem like they just woke up. Terrible customer service and the food was not typical jm. Won't be hitting up the Gainesville location anytime soon. Manager, fire all of your staff and start fresh. read more

Horrible service! On Saturday 4/2/2016, I went to this location and ordered 3 subs. Two of which were hot, the server (who turned out to be the manager) did not mention that I needed to provide all the extras (lettuce, tomatoes, onions, etc..) for the hot subs up front especially as there was a extras bar to my left, which turned out to be for the cold subs only. I have only been to a Jersey Mike's a couple times before so I was not familiar with the process. Anyway the cold sub (Italian) came out and the extras server put the wrong items on the sub and when I politely told her that I did now want peppers on the sub she was extremely rude about correcting it. Then I was left standing there wondering where my hot subs were as the extras server started helping the next customers. The cashier then rang me up and asked me to pay when I still have no clue where my hot subs were. When I asked about them they stated they are done in the back and when I noted that I wanted extras put on them they just shrugged and said I needed to provide that info when I ordered and then they started helping the next customers. Finally the hot subs arrived all packed up and again when I asked about extras for hot subs I received a shrug and "oh well" attitude. As I stood there getting my drinks I realized this was ridiculous and so I asked the cashier if i could speak to the manager. The cashier pointed out the server that took my order who was busy slicing meat. He looked over in my direction and shook his head. The cashier then stated he was too busy - really??? He could not have ask one of 4 servers that were doing nothing to take over for him to address a concern from a paying customer? All in all it was a horrendous experience and I will never go this particular Jersey Mike's again! read more
