My husband almost crapped his pants when he found out that Jersey Mike's opened a location just 10 minutes from our house. He had JM in North Carolina, and we always had to make a special trip when he was visiting home. This is the best sub place. They don't have a bajillion different ingredients or a huge menu, but everything tastes fresh, and they make some of their ingredients in-house (like their roast beef). Unlike Subway, which SUCKS, they put a good amount of meat and cheese on your sub, and you don't feel like you're eating a bread sandwich. I always get the #6 Roast Beef & Provolone, regular size. My husband always orders the #8 Club Sub, GIANT size. I eat mine in one sitting, and he doesn't mind a soggy sub, so he'll eat leftovers. The price is a little higher than you would pay at other chain sub stores, but it's worth it. This location is pretty clean, although they should have the staff clean the eat-in tables more often...they are always crumby. Now, I don't know if it is just this sub shop, but these subs are NOT good for you. The tuna salad sub and the veggie sub have the most fat, and are NOT healthy choices. My regular size Roast Beef & Provolone had 11g of sugar, without condiments. Where the hell are they putting that sugar? To cut some of the fat, calories, and carbs they do offer "Sub in a Tub." This sounds kind of gross, but is a health(ier) alternative. The staff here is generally young (thinking highschool students), and are friendly and "professional" (i.e. not on their phones or being obnoxious). read more

I only get the cheesesteak and it is great. My gripe is with the store cleanliness. The tables are all dirty and the seats also. Wipe them down!! The counter near the register and around the soda machine is also dirty. Five people are working there right now, only two customers in the place and no one cleans! My Fiance got a Philly cheese steak sub and loved it. I was hoping to order a Meatball sub, but they don't carry them at this location. It was a bummer. I ordered a roast beef sub, it was alright. Awesome cold cut subs, with the meat and cheesed sliced off the round one sandwich at a time. All the cold cuts and bread are delicious, and and everything comes out incredibly fresh. There aren't a lot of options if you stray from the basics (no lebanon baloney or the like here), but they do the basics REALLY well. They have a couple hot subs as well, but the cold ones are really their specialty. The staff are friendly and efficient, and although the place tends to have a fairly long line at lunch it moves quickly. I would think twice from ordering delivery from this location. I ordered 2 Giant Subs and got 1 Giant and 1 Regular. I ordered through the Jersey Mikes's app so I called the restaurant to report the problem. The person who answered was very rude and said all that could be done was I could come pick up the missing part of my order or get a refund for 1 sub. I told him I couldn't come to the restaurant and then was told all that could be done is get a refund for 1 sub. I said ok and was then hung up on. read more

I never imagined a sub place would be so busy for dinner on a weeknight, but the line was almost out the door when I went here to pick up dinner for us. That said, it did move somewhat quickly, and the staff were doing their best to expedite everything. The sandwiches every time I've gone have been consistently good- definitely get them Mike's way, its a nice blend of flavors. I would rate this and Potbelly's on the same level. I've tried their cold cut sandwiches (what they're known for) and philly cheesesteaks but really like their meatball subs. They don't toast their breads, which kind of takes away from the overall love of this place because my bread is soggy (in a hot or cold sandwich) by the time I get home, made worse if you go hiking and think this is a great thing to grab with you. This place usually gets really crowded during lunch time, and when I come I am usually order for about 3-4 people. But the staff their are really nice, and very young actually. All the times I have been there they usually have a friend visiting and chatting, which I don't mind. I love getting #5 I think, of the cold cuts, and a steak and cheese for the hot. I have had the Italian sub which was amazing. Always opt for mike's way, it is fabulous. It isn't just the oil, vinegar and seasoning, it is with mayo and lettuce too I believe. Just to be clear, the quality and taste of the food is perfectly fine. It's the customer service that's upsetting really. I order a sub and was asked if I wanted a drink as well which I first declined. I changed my mind and asked for the drink afterwards. I was asked if I wanted a Large or Regular and was then asked if I wanted to give a tip. I was only given my sub so I asked for my drink which I had paid for. the cashier said that I hadn't paid for a drink. I wasn't even given my receipt so when I ask for it, the cashier insisted that I hadn't paid for a drink but I was asking for my receipt. Someone else had to give me a copy and it did say that I had paid for a drink. When I show the cashier, she insisted that I hadn't paid for one when I was clearly showing her the receipt. There's plenty of places that serve great food but part of the experience is the service in the store as well. It's sad to see that a cashier isn't happy with her pay so she wants to be petty and do some sneaky stuff to try and get her way. So, I have been here once with my husband. I would like to preface this by saying that he loved it. I did not. He ordered the club Mike's way and I got the chicken parm sub. I would have to say that this was one of the worst chicken parm subs I've ever had. The bread was fresh and tasty, but overwhelmed the chicken. I had to search to get a bite of it! The sauce was bland and made the bread overly soggy. I would not recommend ordering this to anyone. I plan on returning here and ordering something else. The staff was friendly and it seemed that there were a lot of returning customers, which the staff remembered their order and everything. I'm from South Jersey and I know a gooooddd hoagie! This spot is definitely a good find. My husband usually gets some like a ham and cheese Mike's Way and I, like, to switch it up... the only downside is that the bacon isn't really thick and they don't keep it warm. WARNING!!! When they follow instructions their subs are the best. However, THEY NEVER FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS!!! Especially online orders. They totally ignore the instructions portion of the order. My last three subs were Giant #13s with Oil & Vinegar on the side... and non of them was what I ordered. One had no oil & vinegar on the sub or in the bag, another had oil & vinegar on the sub, and the last one had oil & vinegar soaking the sub and two additional oil & vinegar in the bag. It's OK. I agree with someone earlier by saying the quality of their meat isnt as good as Boar's Head from Giant. Now, if they want to be a true "Jersey style" they need to drop the word sub from their name. A sub is never found in Jersey. Its called a hoagie and yes there is a difference. Also, for the love of everything holy, use Dietz & Watson deli meat and Amoroso bread. Its a nice substitute for a real Jersey or Philly hoagie, but its not the same. Friendly staff, mostly high schoolers, so you never see the same face twice. Major fail for not having Coke products. Huge fan of Jersey Mike's! Picked up subs last night & when I got home, Unfortunately, the steak & cheeses were AWFUL. I called and spoke with Erik who was very nice & apologized. LOVE Jersey Mikes, however, I have been on a few occasions where I felt like my sub was ruined. As someone who ABSOLUTLEY hates onions, when the staff puts the onions right next to the lettuce the onions will free fall into the lettuce. Leaving someone who asks for lettuce and then bites into a huge chunk of onions, it's quite disappointing. I ask that you consider switching the onions and tomatoes so this is more noticeable, because I don't think I'm gonna give it many more chances before I NEVER go again!!! read more

Finally got around to trying this place out. Was surprised at how small the menu was. Was seriously hoping for greasy, junk subs. That doesn't sound very appetizing, but you all get my drift. Maybe like the Five Guys of subs. The fact that there were only a couple hot subs was a little disappointing. Then the fact that they didn't have fries was pretty much the clencher of not returning. The staff didn't really seem like they knew what they were doing. A girl slammed a bottle of vinaigrette into the glass divider and then told us she broke the cap for the third time that day. Instead of wiping away excess lettuce that had fallen from different sandwiches, the girl kept swiping all of it into a pile and then put it BACK into the lettuce bin. Gross. Another girl put on about 1/4 cup of mayo on a sub and instead of wiping away excess mayo, kept spreading around the massive blob of mayo for about a full minute. The wait time on the subs was a little long. Waited for my husband's steak and cheese for almost 10 minutes. While waiting, we observed how confused and stressed out the staff was. However, was pretty entertained when someone asked if the pickles were kosher dill and the girl at the register just slowly mouthed back, with a dumbfounded look, "k o s h e r d i l l" and shook her head as if she had never heard of them before. She asked another girl and she just looked at the customer and yelled "WHAT?" Disappointing was when the manager didn't even know. The food itself was ok. We both thought the subs were fine, but nothing special. A step above Subway, but not by much. If you're in Milestone, this is probably one of the better places. But really, we're really talking about a choice of 4 casual restaurants (this place, subway, chicken out, agro dolce), so don't be too impressed with it one of being the "better" ones. read more

First time customer. I am seeking forgiveness for waiting this long to try Jersey Mike's all because I've been getting suckered into a $5 footlong for so long. Ordered a regular italian made "Mike's Way" (had to add mayo though- a must for me). WAWA WEE WA!!! Unbelievable. Best sub I've ever had bite for bite! Perfect Bread, best quality meats sliced in front of you, fresh ripe tomatoes sliced fresh, etc. There really is not even a comparison. This was my first time at a Jersey Mike's and I was extremely impressed and not just because I'm originally from Jersey. They had good looking italian cold cuts and the meat was sliced fresh to order. The people working there were friendly, all spoke english and really took their time making sure that the sandwich was prettily and properly made with tons of toppings. Germantown is skimpy on the meats and they don't do Mikes way the right way...slather on the oils etc. There really only a handful of seats and the staff really are just there or complaining that they are there. I love Jersey Mike's. Quality and consistency are uniform at any store and staff is always nice. JM's has the best ham that you can buy and they won't sell it aside from on their subs. This is one place where I could eat every day because they have so many good items on their menu. I was at this place on Sunday. It was very good. I love Jersey Mike's. I'm from Canada and you know I can appreciate a good sub and this place is the best. I also like that it has the word "Jersey" in the name because I am a big fan of Jersey Shore. I ordered off the menu and had a number 11 (Salami, ham, and cheese).
