Been to this Place several times now and it sucks compared to the Jersey Mikes in Laurel. Went in tonight and their was a Young guy wearing glasses just standing their talking to his co workers and not paying attention to me. 9 minutes later the girl came over from the cash register and took my order. We just tried Jersey Mike's for the first time today. I placed a catering order yesterday and picked up 2 boxes of subs today for my daughter's pool party. My daughter is gluten-free and I'd heard Jersey Mike's has gluten-free rolls as an option. We haven't seen this at any of the other chain sub restaurants, so we gave it a shot. So glad we did! My husband said the staff was really nice when he went in to pick up the order. They asked what all the subs were for and ended up sending home a hat for my daughter with a Happy Birthday message on it. I ordered variety of 8 different subs - all of the ones we tried were delicious. All of the ingredients tasted fresh and getting them "Mike's Way" adds great flavor. Our party guests all seemed happy with the subs as well. My daughter was thrilled to be able to add this to our gluten-free options when we want to eat out. We will be back!! read more

I walked into a customer friendly atmosphere! The place was clean and well kept in the store and behind the counter where the sandwiches were being made. One word: SKYLER (hopefully I spelled it right). She is truly a sandwhich artist, the effort and detail she displayed while making the sandwiches was impeccable. Every layer of the sandwhich was laid with very detailed attention, just like the picture on advertisements! It was accompanied with the right amount seasoning and sauce. It was a pleasure to watch her make these sandwiches with an attitude of service. I will be back and make this Jersey Mike's the OFFICIAL place to eat subs and sandwiches. The rest of the team was very pleasant too and had the same spirit of serving the customer with pride! On this day, Jersey Mike's was VERY impressive and I look forward to patronizing this business in the future. Go Skyler and team! This location is newly-opened & is VERY popular. That said... it was very busy & very crazy. The line was long but the staff was handling it pretty well. The manager was taking orders, slicing meats, & building sandwiches. It made me tired just to watch the pace at which he was working. The food made it all worth it. The Philly cheesesteak is the best in the area. The Original (their version of an Italian cod cut) was very good & fresh. Definitely recommend getting it "Mike's way". A fantastic example of the chain and the standard to which all others must aspire. The ingredients are always fresh and well maintained, the store is always very neat and clean. You can look around for 2 seconds and tell these people really know what they're doing. The production line is well staffed, the employees are friendly and efficient. Although I love the food here, tonight the girls that work here have the nastiest attitudes. If you don't like your job quit. The only girl that was nice and had customer service was the lightskin young lady with red hair. The other girls need to find new jobs outside of customer service. Typical sandwich shop but about 2 steps above Subway. However, the meat and condiments are definitely more flavorful. And when I say that I mean you can taste the twang and sodium. The meat is fresh and cut to order instead of being pre- packaged and sitting in an open fridge. I prefer the Timonium location over this one though. I've been a big fan of Jersey Mike's for a while now, from the one in State College, PA to the new one in Mililani, HI, I've never been disappointed with a Jersey Mike's sub. Jersey Mike's is by far the best sub chain there is. Boar's Head meats and cheese cut to order, can't go wrong. If I'm ever going to get a sub it's going to be from Jersey Mike's. read more

I made eye contact with the young lady who was making the sandwich and she looked at me as if I was talking to myself. When I was placing my order, she kept having me repeat my order. Typically very friendly staff, but usually only because they've obviously been mandated to follow a script: asking customers how their days are, what they did that weekend, etc... Sometimes you'll catch an openly disgruntled employee, especially if you find yourself in there between 8 and 9pm. I understand wanting to go home, but the store is open for another hour, and that's no reason to act unprofessional. Restaurant is very clean, and the food is just like every other Jersey Mikes. It's pretty good, but also very bread-heavy with far less meat than you'd get at say, Jimmy Johns. It's also far, far more expensive. The quality is good though, and it's certainly worth a visit if you've never been. I recommend the #13, and the #56 is the only hot sub i think is worth getting. read more

The visit started a little rocky as the girl taking my order was a little short with me but it picked up quick once I moved down the line.. guy making my sub was very personable and cashier was extremely helpful to understand the menu. As much as I love Jersey Mikes over at Elkridge, this location is a pain. Every single time we come here one of our orders are incorrect. We usually get it to go because we live in the apartments behind and we have gone back before because one of the sandwiches was filled with onions with the wrong meat. We get back home and they still gave us the wrong meat. Not sure what's so hard to read. 2 Stars for petty & because JM themselves are great aside from this spot. read more

Follow up to review posted on 12/19/2016. I love Jersey Mikes and have visited twice this week. Their food is always fresh and of good quality however I can't give them 5 stars because there is some room for improvement: 1. The sandwich preparers are "way" too distracted. Being chatty with your co-workers, looking all around or in the back or trying to see your phone is not customer service..... Not to mention it is a dangerous practice when you're looking around while slicing meat instead of paying attention to what you are doing. Today around 1:15pm I asked for American cheese and the preparer put Provolone on it because she wasn't paying attention. Then the person with the toppings asked if I wanted bacon on a club that comes with bacon. Please pay attention!!!! 2. My visit before the one mentioned above was on Sunday, 6-4-2017. This team was more focused and my order was excellent but the young man at the register was new. So new that it was just uncomfortable watching him try to figure out each step to do. He clearly needs more training....someone working side by side with him so that he understands how to expedite tasks. Right now he isn't getting it. It was painful to watch. I'll be back of course because the product is great, but the staff requires MORE supervision and direction to become a 5 star. I have had both the regular steak sub and chipotle steak sub. Both were served fresh and hot. I would recommend waiting to eat the sub because it comes right off the grill. The people working there are friendly. Also they have a good system and there isn't much of a wait. read more

The staff was horrible!! I called in my order, when arriving I was told to wait. I waited for about 20 mins, went to complain to find out the food was ready all along. Took the food home, and they got one sub right out of five. I took the food back, and was accused of ordering the food wrong. I demanded my money back, and will never return. Ordered a blt and received onions and hots between two buns. Nothing else. Called to find out what the problem was and was told that they received the order as no tomato no lettuce and minus bacon. I love Jersey Mike's subs, but this was the first time I've had such a bad experience coming here. I called in an order around 12:45 p.m. on a Wednesday, was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. Got there at about 1:10 p.m., and my food wasn't even made or even getting ready to be made. Other people were walking in making their orders and getting their subs made and leaving, but I was still waiting. Once everyone else was done, then they made my sub. There were no explanations as to the delay, but I'm sure it was because when the lady took my order over the phone, she had terrible customer service skills, she was very curt, just rattling off questions faster than I could answer them, so rude - I said if you just slow down, I'm giving you the information -- I'm certain that's why she put my order at the bottom of the pile. I won't patronize this shop again, but will go to the Columbia or Laurel shops, they have much better customer service skills. When the Hanover shop first opened, they were great, but something happened, I think the manager changed, after that, customer service went downhill quickly. read more

Jersey Mike's subs are good, if you stick to the steak subs and chicken steak subs. Otherwise, go elsewhere, as their hoagies, meatball, and other types of subs just lack it all and are no different than what you could get at Subway at half the price. Ordered late, but there were way too many employees in the store, doing nothing other than standing around flirting with each other. Good food. Good service... (First timer) However I witnessed a worker that had gloves on scratching her face then working. Grossed me out. I'm glad she didn't make my sammich. Not sure why there are bad reviews for this location. I've never had an issue with incorrect orders or inattentive staff. I was greeted immediately by every staff member and they were so friendly. Talked about how the day was progressing and the new food truck down the street. Order was done correctly and promptly. They made sure that the tomatoes were fresh and no core on it. Lettuce was freshly sliced, bread was delicious. It was hard to save half for lunch tomorrow! read more

I've been visiting this Jersey Mike's since soon after they opened. I used to love it, stopping by at least 1.5 times a week. Since then, prices have gone up and the quality of the subs keep going down. Hot subs are no longer wrapped in aluminum foil, which translates into cold subs sooner. Big Kahuna no longer Big (keeps getting thinner). At this rate, I will stop visiting this store soon. read more
