I came on the second day of their opening and they were fully staffed. Lines were semi long but it went fast. You guys rock! I came to claim my free sandwich and drink for my way belated birthday. Long over due but they still took it. They give you a year to use it. Cool deal but they also gave coupons if you pay $2.00, you get a sandwich free. The $2.00 goes to the Imperial Beach Sun and Sea festival. A good cause because I support any activities in Imperial Beach! The dining area is small and cute inside. They also have tables outside. I got the club sandwich done Mike's way. Turkey, ham, lettuce, tomatoes, bacon, provolone cheese, oil, onions and vinegar. It's so good. Bread was good too! Their sandwiches taste better than their competitors. I also washed down my sandwich with a lemonade. Pepsi products sold here but they have other options. I will be back! read more

I'm usually a huge fan of Jersey Mike's and eat it a few times a month (at least!!). However... this review is based on my last two Uber Eats orders from the IB store. (**Not an Uber Eats issue, it's a Jersey Mike's issue here) Last time I received my order, I got the wrong sandwich entirely. I ordered a turkey and provolone sandwich and got a tuna sandwich (with the condiments/topping I ordered). Also, never got the soda I paid for (root beer). Today, I ordered a turkey and provolone sandwich with mustard, Mayo, lettuce and pickles with Lays potato chips. When my sandwich got here, it was completely dry, no condiments or toppings. Bread, cheese and turkey only. And the chips were not Lays potato chips. This inconsistency in ordering something and not getting what I paid for/ordered is irritating at best. I may choose a different sandwich shop next time I don't go in myself and feel I need to watch it being made from now on if I choose Jersey Mike's again. read more

I'm not sure why they offer "pick up" at this location if walking in is a much faster option. I placed my order at around 2:20pm and my estimated pick up time was 2:50pm. I arrived at 3pm, only to see a line at the pickup station & a bunch of dissatisfied faces. I was told my order is not ready yet & that they are very busy.. of course I said, "sure!" However, as I am sitting and waiting- I notice every walk in order is being made.. by the time I finally have my sandwich (3:10pm), already 6 walk in customers had paid and left... if I had known it was going to take 40 minutes to make my sandwich I would have just walked in! 2 weeks ago I came here for the very first time to pick up lunch for someone else and was kinda appalled at the horrible customer service given that there only 2 other people in the store. My bad for going back a second time to try this place for myself. I have never been to Jersey Mike's before, but after today I will be a loyal customer. Just walking in the door, the staff greeted me from behind the counter and while making my subs asked how I was doing. I had not had a good night or a good morning, by far one of the hardest nights with my newborn. The staff was quick to make a connection with their newborn experiences all while preparing my order quickly and efficiently. When it came time to pay for my order, I realized I had made a mistake with my husband's order. I can barely remember what day it is much less a special order from a picky eater. The staff quickly amended the order reassuring me the entire time that it was alright. I've been going to this Jersey Mikes for years but I won't be going back until they fire this manager. I ordered several sandwiches today and two of three were messed up. But that's ok. It happens. The manager showed me that one I ordered online was actually correct and I forgot to click no red wine vinegar, which my partner can't stand. I said that was my bad but that the sandwich was drenched in it and asked her to remake it. She said she wouldn't do that because it's not their fault. So for about 1 to 2 dollars worth of ingredients, she refused to remake a 12 dollar sandwich. I also showed her where they screwed up and left some onions off one sandwich and banana peppers off another. She was going to give me more of those until I expressed my annoyance that they wouldn't remake the sandwich. She then said "I'm not giving you the onions or the peppers." I was completely shocked. I had to catch myself from calling her names but I want to make sure that everyone knows what she is like. I will make it a personal mission to see her dismissed because she has no business being a manager. Btw, I probably spend over a thousand bucks a year at that shop. I just left the location in IB and there was a younger guy with curly hair flippantly using racial slurs and derogatory comments to one of the other employees, IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS. He was too busy trying to be funny to pay attention to what he was doing so he forgot components of my sandwich and had to remind him. When I told him easy on the mustard he put an excessive amount and when I pointed it out he wiped it off with a napkin and then handed me my to-go bag covered in mustard from his hands. So happy to find Jersey Mikes in Imperial Beach! Great convenient location in a new strip mall with other retails options such as TMobile, Baskin Robins and Grocery Outlet. They have been bombarded with business since their opening but have managed the long lines well. We went the other night after a long day of back to school shopping. Employees were friendly and ready to get the orders out. There was only one team member that slowed everything else down for everyone. She was putting one tomato at a time on every sandwich! A little frustrating since her team members kept offering to help her out. There were three sodas that were out of order by the time we arrived that evening. Either they weren't prepared or did not anticipate the amount of customers coming through for those particular sodas. I took advantage of their promo coupon, buy 1 reg sub and 2-22oz drink and get 1 reg sub free. I think I will return to this location because it is convenient to where I live. I plan to come out again after they've had a couple more weeks of being open and hope they've gotten the kinks out of their operations. I used to like their sandwiches up until today. We submitted an order through Uber for work. We were looking forward to our sandwiches and they got our order wrong. I called and told them what happened and he said it was a uber error and to deal with it with them. They would not make us new sandwiches. I was so upset and so was my co worker. Jersey Mikes is one of my favorite subs. I always get a email on my birthday for a free sub and drink. The sandwiches are delicious as well as the Italian bread(white bread). So why the 3 stars? This location is horrible to find parking. There was NO Italian bread the day I went for my birthday sandwich. The line to order is unorganized. I always get the Italian bread because it holds the sauce perfectly. In my opinion, running out of Italian bread at a sandwich shop is just plain unacceptable. Hopefully the manager gets it together before this place turns worse. The Jersey Mikes in Otay Ranch blows this one away! If I could give zero stars I would. The man in the front was nice, he greeted me very well. But then the woman making my sandwich made zero effort to have a conversation with me the only thing she said to me was "what kind of sandwich do you want" and then she went on to continue talking bad things about her other coworkers to the ones that were working with her she was very loud and obnoxious letting everyone know her problems with the other coworkers and I was just very awkward it made me uncomfortable. She was an older lady with dyed blondish hair. The sandwiches were plain. The only sauces they had to offer were salt vinegar pepper and mayonnaise. 4 months in the making and the workers at JM still can't get it right. Not sure if they don't know how to read, afraid to touch the vegetables or what. Last month I had to file a dispute on my credit card because they refused to refund me a wrong order. Not sure if we need a new owner at this place or not. Don't get me wrong, the food is great but management and workers are horrible. How many times have I placed an order and you can't read this?! Yea, I keep ordering from here, hoping my order is correct. If I spend over $40 for an order, I expect it to be right. Mistakes happens but if it happens every other week for the past 4-6 months, there's a problem. Time to reevaluate your employees and re-train them on proper ways to make sandwiches. Sorry to sound harsh but bad habits makes for bad business. Apologizing really doesn't help once you apologized once. Now it just becomes a "I have to apologize" to the customer. C'mon guys!
