Can you guys please pick up your phone ever? I go to Jersey Mikes 2 to 3 times a week. I typically visit the Palm Desert location but when I'm in La Quinta I call ahead to order but nobody ever picks up the phone! Phone orders are a major part of your business and if you don't pick up the phone you lose the business. This Jersey Mikes is the only store that I've experienced this difficulty with!!! Guys figure out your phone situation and pick up so that people can actually order food from you! Ugh! More than frustrating! read more

It's hit or miss with this place. We concur it depends upon whom is working or if the owner or manager is present. First visit three weeks ago was stellar, they gave Aspen Mills (down the street) a run for their money. Everything was freshly prepared, great quality and a service with a smile. Our last two visits? the sandwiches we picked up were sloppily made, there was a 'questionable' taste to one of the cold cuts, and sure enough two of our friends who ordered that sandwich got the trots later that day. We see a pattern of sanitation issues in these reviews and wonder why the inconsistencies? Is there a supervisor who runs the place for the owner or GM who just 'doesn't care' and is lazy? You start making people sick from your food, that's grounds you're probably going to lose your business and get slapped with some nasty legal issues. and we are not speaking "pandemic" terms, general guarantee freshness of your cold cuts and getting rid of the girl who wears the same gloves to count cash and then touches people's sandwiches....seriously?.... Brought home two subs! The #2 provolone, ham, and capicola...and #7, provolone and turkey. Both served on a wheat bun. Bread was soft and went well with the ingredients. Had them made "Mike's way" which means lettuce, onion, tomatoes, shredded lettuce and olive oil and vinegar. It was a tasty combination! Service was good and efficient! I came in at noon on Tuesday.  Customer service was great; I think they were all teenagers.  I'm glad that this place has lots of staff; I saw at least 10 people working in the front area (so they are well staffed).  I think they were training people too because I could hear the phone ringing over and over, and then I hear a voice kept saying: 'Jersey Mike's...hello?' because she kept using the intercom to the front instead of picking up the phone, lol. Wait times are short; I can tell they have lots of delivery or to-go orders.  The only reason why I rated this place as 3-stars is b/c food wasn't as good as I thought for $10.  I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak.  It took about 10 minutes to make fresh; I saw them cooking it.  Next time I come in, I'll order something else. read more

I absolutely recommend this business. These employees are there every time friendly and nice. They're wearing their masks and showing up to work which is SO appreciated. They're always patient and kind even when customers aren't as nice back. Totally 5 stars. I was not impressed at all by the subs I had the Philly cheesesteak and it did not taste or looked like a Philly cheesesteak it was sad didn't taste good and half of it was missing. I lived in Pennsylvania for 11 years and went to Philadelphia and ate cheesecake and it was a whole sandwich not half of it. Maybe it's a California thing to give half a sandwich. But it was not worth the price. I rather go to subway and get a a full sandwich for less of the price I got it here. It was not good and the workers were slow and were all over the place. Maybe in the future I'll give it another try but not any time soon. read more

But the last three times we went to the La Quinta Jersey Mike's, we observed flies buzzing around the sandwich area, and even landing on top of the sandwiches. Can't they see the flies there? Who is the manager? Even though we were disappointed, twice we decided to give them another chance. The last time we walked in, they were making a sandwich for someone who had called in an order. After once again seeing a fly land on top of the sandwich, we said that's it, and went next door to Chipotle and had a great burrito there. (No flies there, either.) Stopped by here during lunch on a rainy Monday. There were steady streams of people coming in and out. Some eating in most taking orders out. What I liked most in the beginning was the easy breezy menu options. Cold subs, subs, and wraps. I ordered from the cold sub menu my husband from the hot sub menu. I was pleasantly surprised when the gal offered "mikes way" because I had forgotten That a buddy told us it's a must!! It was definitely what pushed me over into a complete fan!! I have yet to see a clean table whenever I come in no matter what time or how busy or slow they are. Half the time they have to remake my sandwich cause they screwed it up. It's the easiest sandwich the ingredients and in the name CheeseSteak. I have eaten inside the location, several times. They really do live up to their motto "a sub above ".Their sandwiches are way better than Subway. With freshly sliced meats and cheeses. I usually order the Turkey sub, the Chicken bacon club or the Italian. I have yet to try the hot subs. I always have had the sandwitches Mike's way with the standard lettuce, tomatoes, onions, red wine vinegar olive oil and mayo topped with oregano. Very friendly staff and great service. read more

I have always loved Jersey Mike's, the food the staff etc. This location is horrible. Maybe we hit it on a bad day? Staff was nice, but they moved really slow and were doing the bare minimum. Waited about 10 mins while they reset the food and cleaned the slicer. Took about 20 mins to get two simple sandwiches (no one else in line) and they still forget my bacon. Tables were dirty, no napkins, bathroom out of order. Ridiculous, and a horrible representation of this chain which is usually great. The staff is so genuinely enthusiastic, team oriented, and friendly. The restaurant and food prep areas are extremely clean. I am astonished by the service I received at this location, I had been to the Palm Desert location and received terrible service. The moment I walked into this location I was greeted by well groomed and friendly staff. My service was taken right away and I paid for my meal quickly, my sub was delicious.
