I began going to the La Quinta store about 4 months ago. Twice I asked to substitute one of the meats in #2 and they said "no problem". Three days ago I made the same request and was told "we can't do that". I told them it was done before and was told that asking for substituting ham for cappi???? (I don't know what this meat is) was more expensive. I changed my selection. Between the noise from the HVAC system and people wearing masks I could not hear the person's questions. i.e., Do you want it Mike's way? Another customer had to tell me what that was. Since I was a fairly new customer I didn't know what that was. I WILL NOT be going to any Jersey Mike's again. Their prices are ridiculous too. Probably increased recently due to covid and economy but can someone explain why a veggie sub is $14.95 and a #2 with 3 meats is also $14.95 for the largest size? read more

We absolutely love Jersey Mike's and eat there all the time in our hometown of Redlands. Went here during a speech tournament and had the worst customer service ever! They had a big phone order and all three staff worked on that while the line grew and grew. Not ONLY that but when a couple people of line questioned this, the lady in charge informed us rudely that phone and online orders are always given priority and that people standing in line always have to wait for those orders. No apologies, no division of labor, nothing. If I was the manager or owner I would have been horrified. read more

If you want to order a sandwich with wheat bread, you better get there when they first open. I have come to this store at least six times and 5 of those six time they have been out of wheat bread. Apparently the manager doesn't give a damn about the sales lost because of their inability to properly maintain bread stock. The sandwiches are good when you can actually get what you want. We have gone in multiple times and they never have wheat bread, sometimes they don't even have bread (that's happened twice to us). I tried to order a gluten free sandwich and went out of my way to go to this location since I know it's one of the few fast food options with a gluten free meal. The guy said the gluten free bread was cold and then just stared at me blankly. I asked if he could heat it up then and he said he'd have to get his manager on the phone...this is after it took them forever to even come over to the counter to ask me what I wanted when the store was empty. The subs were amazing, as always but what really stuck was their outstanding customer service. One of the ways was the way they handled my gluten free sub. Without making a big deal or mentioning anything they started to wipe down the counter, the slicer, the two girls who were making the sandwich went and washed their hands and changed their gloves. Most places cause a scene, make me feel guilty for asking or saying anything at all. They were very nonchalant and to anyone else it just looked like they did a quick wipe down. The amazing customer service didn't stop there. A woman came up and said that they made her sandwich wrong, which makes absolutely no sense because they make it in front of you, step by step. But either way the woman demanded her money back in a very immature way. The lady at the cash register refunded her for her sandwich and apologized for the error. The woman wasn't done she went back up and started yelling and screaming because they didn't refund her the tax. The lady at the register, in a clam and collective manner, explained that when she put it in to they system as a refund it does not refund the tax if there are multiple sandwiches on the same ticket. The woman then proceeded to yell, stormed off and ate her sandwich. At the end of the day the crew that was on at 1pm on 4/24 did an excellent job of handling everything and keeping a smile on their faces. read more

My husband and I went to Jersey Mike's on the week that they opened after our son bragged about how good they were at the Temecula store. What we loved most was the bread - it wasn't what we expected. It had great flavor, slightly toasty on the outside and soft on the inside - but not mushy like at other sub places. I got the chicken parm and it was everything I hoped it would be. My husband got the philly cheesesteak and had no complaints. They slice the meat for you right then and there. We got a to-go order for our daughter and they even did the oil/vinegar on the side - it was a nice touch. The employees were a little scattered, but it was the first week they were open, so I totally understood. Everyone was very friendly and explained the menu - which was completely new to us - very well. The only real downside was that I was excited to see the Luzianne sweet tea, but it really tasted like unsweetened Lipton - I was really disappointed. We will definitely go back after they've had a chance to really get going - it was definitely better than the usual subs in the valley. read more

First time reviewer of anything, but I feel I must. Being a Jersey-girl born & raised I have enjoyed a little bit of home here in the desert. The P.S. one is very good & the P.D. one is awesome. But the La Quinta one should have there franchise license taken! Last 3 times I've been there they have been out of bread! Really? Out of bread! At 6:30pm on a Friday. I stopped by yesterday 7/12/2018 for dinner. There was 3 ladies working the front, one seemed to have been in a bad mood, one of the ladies took an accidental order or maybe the customer changed her mind about what tortilla she wanted for her tuna wrap (cant remember, at that point i wasn't paying attention) she had the wheat wrap layed out for her to place the food. Well one of the ladies told whom i assume was the manager "she wants spinach wrap" then the lady comes back to the front with attitude "WELL THIS ISNT A SPINACH WRAP, ITS WHEAT!" then takes it to the corner and remakes the wrap but she started slamming things and banging things. they did not have an empty house, i felt so bad for the girl who was doing the cashier, very sweet girl (red and black hair) i applaud her for her patience cause if that was what i had to deal with, i would not last working there. read more

Ordered food online. I come to the store for pickup, and had to wait 10 additional minutes from the estimated time. The reason for the delay was because they decided to stop working on my daughters sandwich for a customer that walked in when I came in, who did not order online. My daughters sandwich was made well, and they gave my daughter a cookie before leaving, other than my upset with task management, you made my daughter excited for the cookie. read more

I have never made a yelp review before in the years that I've had this app, but the sanitation issue here made me create an account just to write this review. I usually really enjoy jersey mikes but my experience at this store a couple weeks ago made me want to not come back. I work in food service so I understand being short staffed or in a rush, but when I ate here there was a sanitation issue that could've easily been avoided. The woman using the register and taking the cash from the customers was also grabbing the sandwiches and wrapping them with her same gloves. After grabbing cash from the customers, she would grab the next customers sandwiches in order to wrap them with paper. When myself and another customer brought attention to this, the cashier just said "oh okay" and didn't bother doing anything to apologize or change her gloves. Even if we weren't in a pandemic, I would be grossed out by someone touching cash and then grabbing my sandwich. Either the cashier didn't know that this was a sanitation issue, or she really didn't care. And After this experience I wrote to the jersey mikes privately expressing my concerns about their sanitation and they ignored me, so I decided to make a yelp review for the first time ever lol. I used to come to this restaurant weekly but after this experience I won't be coming back. read more

After having the worst sandwich experience of my life from my nearby quiznos, I was extremely excited to see a Jersey mikes come to LQ. However, they made my sandwich wrong! :( Granted, I wanted my sandwich made MY way but with mostly mike's ingredients. I'm well familiarized with jersey mikes and their menu; one of my old roommates in college worked for them for awhile. I ordered a Cali club, add chipotle mayo and honey mustard, and finish it mikes way but minus the tomatoes. (If you ever want to taste the truth... TRY to get a sandwich made like this. ;) ) There was a lack of communication down the sub-assembly line between the people taking my order, and the ones doing the finishing touches. My sandwich had neither chipotle mayo or honey mustard, and tomatoes were put on the sandwich. I ate it all still, and overall, still enjoyed it. The place just opened so I'm sure they are still getting the hang of things, I just hope they can get my Truthfully Tasty sandwich made right next time. read more

So for those of us on an actual lunch break, half of that time cannot be spent standing in line...behind 1 person....who's asking for the difference between subs and trying the tuna to see if they want that and asking about the bread types and bread size...well, you get the picture. I know what I want and I'm ready to go. Wow. THE worst Jersey Mike's I've ever been to. I literally had to walk out. I ordered a tuna, this girl slops a watery mixture of something (you could not see a single chunk of tuna), which was obviously the end of the batch; she then puts fresh tuna salad on the other half. So on one side there was a puddle of Mayo without tuna, and on the other side fresh tuna salad. I asked the first girl why they looked so different and she just looked at me and went on to making the other sandwich. So I asked the next girl why it looked so different, and she said one side probably wasn't mixed. So I said, ok, maybe I can get a sandwich with the mixed fresh tuna, and she took her finger (wearing a glove) and began to mix the watery tuna with the fresh tuna. I looked at her and walked out. Not sure how dumb or lazy you could possibly be. Get a different job if you don't give a f. Will never return. read more

Really enjoy this place. The employees were friendly and helpful. Now the sandwiches are the bomb. I never know which to get hot or cold. They do only have 1 bread but it's good bread. The quality of the deli meats and cheeses are also really good. I have had the Philly and the Italian both great just have to decide what I'm in the mood for. My daughter loves the turkey . On the cold sandwich choice I love Mikes way which is lettuce, tomato,salt and pepper ,oil and vinegar with a tomato. They do have a frequent visit point system twords a free sub.
