This place is filthy. There was one person before us and I noticed how nasty the meat slicer was so I asked the guy how often he cleans it, he said he was cleaning it next. I said ok I'll wait for you to clean it then order. He then takes online orders to fill and I realized cleaning wasn't going to happen so we left. This is how people get sick. The cook top was in deplorable condition as well. He scraped lettuce that fell between the crack into the bin of fresh cut lettuce but who knows how long that's been there since it was filthy before. They need a health department visit.

    The Super Sub... Oh yea!

Still a great place to pick up a meal - even in a different state - I've been ordering online lately and the pick up has always been on time, and fresh, not sitting around. I usually ask for "extras" and they have always provided them Their prices seem to fair also compared to others.

    Thank You! You rock!

Great fresh sandwiches. The employees are wonderful. A pleasure to be there. Love the new location in LA Quinta.

Love the sandwiches, but the service at the La Quinta location is pretty bad. No greeting; only, "You know what you want?"

Ordered the New York style hot pastrami on rye with coleslaw and a Dr. Brown's Cream Soda. The pastrami was the highlight. Piled high, tender, and full of that classic deli flavor with just the right amount of richness. The rye bread held everything together well and had a nice bite to it. It's the kind of sandwich you have to take a second to look at before figuring out how to eat it. The coleslaw was fresh and crisp, a good balance to the sandwich, and the cream soda was cold and refreshing. Also ordered a slice of pistachio cake to go. Absolutely delicious. The place has that old school deli feel, busy but in a good way, and full of character. Service was friendly and efficient even with the crowd. Definitely a spot worth stopping at if you're in Palm Desert and want a proper deli sandwich.

Hostess and waitress were both professional and friendly. Our husbands ordered the pastrami, one in the and the other on a Kaiser roll. I split a turkey Sammy with my friend and we also split a root bear float. The pastrami was very tender and tasty and not at all too salty. Rye bread was good but too much bread with the Kaiser roll. Turkey sandwich was very dry and nothing to wow about. They served us pickles at the beginning of the meal which was good. Got a piece of chocolate cake to go as well as their rice pudding. Great experience but sandwiches are not worth the price.

I especially enjoyed the #14 The House. It's a house-made chicken salad with nuts and cranberries and comes with sprouts, tomato, mayo, salt and pepper on Squaw Bread. The cranberries adds a mild sweetness which balances out the mayo and the nuts adds another layer of crunchy texture and flavor which I loved. If I were to be honest, I wasn't too crazy about their bread. On both sandwiches, it was soft which was good, yet at the same time, just a bit stale. While the sandwiches initially seemed loaded, most of the ingredients are right in the middle of the sandwich where they slice it in half, so while it's very visually appealing, there's basically a ring near the crust of the bread that didn't have much toppings. As far as the Love The Club sandwich. I think they are a bit heavy handed with the salt. The sandwich was too salty. At $33 for two sandwiches, it's also a tad bit pricey. Overall good experience and will be back to try more !

We had seen and smelled!!! the Works Pizza when we walked in. We ordered a large to take home, but couldn't resist eating some before we left. It was soooo good! I don't like onions, peppers or mushrooms, but the combination with the ton of meat was delicious! I didn't even want to pick anything off. It was even better when we reheated it!!! The pizza had a wonderful crispy crust topped with a large amount of meats vegetables and cheese. The service was chill, laid back and very friendly. I felt like I was being served by good welcoming friends. One downside was the server who took our order, forgot to put it in the computer which caused a 45 minute delay. Taking it in stride he immediately offered to comp the whole meal and drinks, taking the blame upon himself. Stand up guy! I offered to at least pay for the drinks and he wouldn't let me. Regardless of the time delay, we had a great time and the food was outstanding. We will be back.
