Being that I was born in New Jersey and raised on subs as our fast food alternative, I've been frequenting Jersey Mike's all over the country! Today, I'm giving a 'shout out' to the Greenfield Drive location in Laguna Niguel. 12 of us rented a Duffy Boat in Newport Harbor so we decided to pick up a cold box of premade sandwiches from JM's. I called a day before and spoke to Calvin, who was such a big help deciding which sandwiches would work best (for the kiddos too) he even threw in a veggie sandwich for our friend, who is a vegetarian! The order was prepared 100% correctly, the lettuce was still crisp, nothing was soggy, and everything was wrapped perfectly. They gave us an oil 'n vinegar, mayonnaise, mustard, salt and pepper, napkins, and utensils; it was ALL there! Calvin, Ben, and Xavier have been awesome each time i visit this location. Twice in one week always super welcoming and accommodating. My "go to" supreme club , mikes way, easy on mayo, mikes way, extra lettuce, onions, tomatoes, cut into 4's if Giant and wrapped individually. Hack to avoid sogginess: easy on oil/vinegar or have it put on side and you can add it later. When traveling, ask for tomatoes and pickles on side for the same reason and then your sub wont be soggy. It works every-time. Hack#2: ask for individual wrapped that way its easier to consume without exposing the entire sub and if needed to give to others its a cleaner/sanitary way of giving to others. Jersey Mike's offers a superior sub dining experience. I love their tuna on rosemary parm bread, bread lightly toasted, lettuce, pickles and lots of oregano. Hubby likes turkey with Provolone, with tomatoes, lettuce and banana peppers, bread lightly toasted, yellow mustard , pepper, vinegar and oil. subs at Jersey Mike's are reliably terrific. However, while the cashier at this location today was friendly (January 11, 2026 at noon) the sandwich making line were borderline unpleasant. having an aloof or even slightly unfriendly staff is not uncommon at this location, but today was exemplary, even for them. First, I ordered a regular sub, for which they take the giant size bread and cut it in half. But the cut was very far from the middle, so the guy behind me got a sandwich that was about a third bigger than mine, even though we both paid the same price for the same sandwich. I asked the person putting the sandwiches together if both of those were regular size or if one was a mini, because mine was so small. She just looked up and said "yep" then she proceeded to not put the pickles on the sandwich that I requested, so I'm kind of hating on this location at this moment. It should be a pleasant experience a sandwich and you should also feel like you're getting the value that you're paying for. The size discrepancy was really obvious and I even pointed it out. Anyway, they need to do a better job at this location and I will probably be driving all the way into Laguna Woods until these guys get it figured out. read more

Haven't had a sub in a long time so a month ago my daughter said she had this delicious sub from here when she was at a meeting and wanted me to try it so went to the first one in Costa Mesa on Harbor the service was really great we had the # 14 Mikes Way on Rosemary/Cheese it was all she said it was very delicious. We've had this sandwich three times now out of the three times two of them there was something about the way they prepared them you can taste the love like there was care but this last time you couldn't taste the love it was just a sandwich but I will be getting another sandwich sometime soon but not from there( not mentioning the restaurant) read more

Most everyone knows Jersey Mikes. The sandwich reminds me of the ones we got in NJ back in the old days. This is my go to place when hungry for a good sandwich. What I like about Jerseys is their community charities and fund raising for needy causes. Like to give a shout out to the location in Lake Forest CA off of El Toro where a counter person helped a group of disadvantaged and disabled kids order their sandwiches. They took time with them and let them speak slowly ordering their sandwiches. It was a beautiful thing to see how they gave them help and cared for them. Nice Guys there and everything, but they really weren't prepared for the task at hand today. - we did a mass order, for our team and timing of eating for athletics is imperative to proper fueling to compete. - we ordered the food at 10 am for a 12:45 pick and it will be almost an hour later that we will actually be able to pick it up and get it to the team. - they clearly underestimated the job and should have done a much better job in preparation. I love Jersey Mike's!! My kids love it too!! Been eating Jersey Mike's for years now. Grand opening was today. Great location. Plenty of parking. Close to the 73 and the I-5. Met the owner and bunch of employees. Everybody was super nice. Place is brand new and sparkling clean. The sandwiches were excellent as always.
