Stopped by for lunch earlier today and had a wonderful experience! This was my first visit to the Lancaster location, and it was just as great as all the other ones I've been to! Friendly and fast customer service, well deserving of a tip. I think if employees are willing to make you a fresh sandwich and engage you in pleasant conversation at the same time --- and even with a smile, too!! --- throw a freakin' buck or 2 in their jar. They are always so appreciative. I ordered the usual -- giant Club Supreme, mike's way, on wheat. Enough to share with someone for lunch, plus leftovers for dinner. Also indulged in a chocolate chip cookie. Never tried their cookies before, but it was delicious!! Cookie was soft, decadent, and generous throughout with chocolate chips! I never ate here before. I got the veggie. I got the giant so I'd have leftovers. It was $14 for a LOT of bread and a few veggies. I will NEVER go here again. Not worth it. The guy working asked me at least four times what I wanted on my sandwich. He was easily distracted and there were only three people in the store. I'll go back to subway. read more

Tried to order a gluten free kids ham sandwich. Was told that can't be done, I would have to be up $ charged to have a kids size. Then I was told they asked the manager David and he said no. So I asked to speak with him. I will note that the other employees seemed to be willing to help but David came out and told my corporate would not allow kids Gluten free bread. At this point I asked for the managers name and corporates phone #. David told me "it's on line, look it up yourself." I told him he was a "horrible human being" and left with my 10 year old severely allergic son. So very disappointed in the lack of any customer service and bizarre gluten free bread rules. read more

First time I went there and I was actually highly dissapointed. My husband always raves about the ones down in LA, and so I thought I'd try it out. The employees were extremely rude, trying to rush me through my ordering even though there was no one behind me. Than when they finished my husbands sandwich and he just wanted to make sure there was no lettuce on his sandwich, the employee rolled her eyes and got pissed because there was and she had to make a whole new one. The restaurant was very dirty, and the bathroom had no tp, and trash all over the floor. I was very disappointed, because I was expecting so much better from what my husband told me. Could've have given it a 5 if the employees/manager would actually pay attention to the customers. I walked into store yesterday and stood behind 3 people already in line. Not one of the customers in front of me were being helped. The 3 employees I saw were just pacing aimlessly behind the counter while the manager was around the corner calling out to one of the employees about how they misread the schedule. How about that stuff gets handled in private after all the customers are helped. While this is going on 4 more people walk in unrecognized and the woman at the head of the line is trying to get the attention on one of the employees to start her sandwich. I watched this go on for 8 minutes before the woman in the front of the line was helped. I had to walk out because I was so annoyed. I've been to the Palmdale Jersey Mikes and that store has it right! They acknowledge everyone as they walk in the door. They have a fast moving assembly line way of making the food. Each employee seems to know the role they play in game! Lancaster needs to follow their example! read more

Food is good. Everything else sucks. Arrived at 1030am, the one employee that's always there is super nice extremely overworked and always doing everything by himself. Their were about 2 people in line when I got there waiting 10min for the little manager to take my order. He then started at least 4 online orders while I was standing in front of him then just went to the back and disappeared leaving the one other person to try and keep up with everyone waiting and the online orders while we were waiting. Waited a total of about 30min then told the employee I had to go to get back to work. For how much they raised the prices I would think they could hire more to keep up the demand. They need to prioritize the customers in store or get more help to take care of online orders. Like I said food is great, good quality and delicious but if you don't order online you'll be there for at least 30min waiting. Faster and easier to drive the 10min extra to the Palmdale one where you'll be in and out in 5 min. read more

Favorite sandwich place and excellent location. Staff is always friendly even with busy/long lines and store is always clean and well stocked. They take appropriate time with each customer and sandwich to get everything right. Never had a bad experience there. My husband and I went for lunch here today around noon and this place was a hot mess from just one employee. As soon as we walked in the employee standing at the register asked told a customer he could help him and the customer said it's ok I've already been rung up. Not even 1 minute later the employee asks the customer the same question and the employee answers the same way. The employee yells out "this is why I fucking hate...." couldn't hear the rest of what he said. so much happened during our long visit to get our 3 simple sandwiches that I don't even have enough time to explain. My husband is still laughing hysterically about our experience because it was just a disaster because the employee obviously ate an entire edible and was completely stoned out of his mind that he couldn't even do his job. Dude! If you are reading this....never....I repeat never eat an entire edible at one time. Also, maybe wait until you have worked there long enough to get the swing of things before you go to work stoned. The employee was so stoned he was moving in slow motion and couldn't even speak clearly. We would tell him one thing and he would immediately do the complete opposite. This visit was an absolute joke...we thought their were hidden cameras somewhere. The lady behind us was waiting for her drink because he couldn't get our 3 drinks correct or get the correct amount of cups per lid down. Ordered the Philly cheese steak sandwich-- the bread was great, soft and tasty, but---- they must have thought I already ate too much that day. Because-- inside the likeable roll, there was a true lack of substance--- little cheese, and much littler of steak, and a skinnnny pepper, and no mushrooms. I wish there was a taste... even for people who, I guess, need less in their lives... There are others who really know how to make this right. At least they don't think I eat too much. read more

We've been coming here for 2 years since we moved here. We walk through the door and most of the employees already know what we want and how we like it! Best Sandwich place around. Me and my husband went yesterday around 5:45pm. We got three subs and waited for 45 mins from start to finish. The line was out the door and there was no sense of urgency. It was crazy one person walked off the floor and they were still so busy. I get it sucks when ur busy I work in food too. But this was crazy. We got to cold subs and one hot. It was so crazy that they didn't care that they even forgot the person in front of ours. I just don't understand how you can not be organized and care that people waited so long. This Jersey Mike's location has quickly become my favorite in town. Customer service is world class, especially considering it's a sandwich shop. The food, of course, is top-notch; this business always uses fine ingredients and slices your meats and cheeses right there on the spot when you order. You won't see that at Subway! The employees here make me feel like part of the family when they serve me, and that personalized touch goes a long way for guys like me. Even when they get busy, much like it is now, they service their customers quickly and efficiently. I will gladly spend the extra few bucks for a Jersey Mike's sub at the Lancaster location than get a Subway sandwich ANY DAY. Thanks again for your continued excellence, Jersey Mike's Lancaster. If you ever want a job where you get paid to stand around, this is the place. I have never seen such incompetence from top to bottom. Manager to trainee all standing around looking lost. So they asked me what I wanted then rang up my order took my money then somehow expected the sandwich to somehow make itself. The girl manning the griddle took the time to make her lunch but not my sandwich. Then they all ask each other in a chain of stupidity did you make it did you make it did you make it. I swear you couldn't write this shit. Then the manager walks over and says I don't know why he didn't just make it. Way to own up. Do yourselves a favor and go to sub marina on avenue L. So I'm not big on jersey mikes mainly because I've gotten a horrible case of food poisoning from them a loooong time ago so today my family wanted subs for dinner so I'm like that was so long ago let's give it a try. Wrong. So we get there & are second in line, very easy order that took them 45 minutes to make but lo and behold they didn't even bother to make my sandwich which was a simple turkey and provolone no extras just meat cheese & bread. So on top of making us wait nearly an hour & not getting a complete order I was so unhappy. Then relief set in when I didn't get a stomachache from their food like my family did. "It was a sign." Never will I attempt to eat jersey mikes again. Lesson learned if it's going to be a wait be courteous enough to notify the customers & get the order correct while you're at it, not like you didn't have it written down on a ticket.... oh wait. You did. And that's how customers are lost & trust I wasn't the only person whose order was messed up either. So simple yet so hard. read more

I came here for a roast beef sandwhich. And idk about you guys but i feel like it was dry. So was the bread.

First time here bread was way too crusty it fell apart......Have to go back and see if thats the way the bread is or it was just that day.

They have amazing sandwiches but poor attitude employees. We placed a mobile order at 1:20pm and it said it would be 1:40pm when it was ready for pick up. My husband walks in at 1:33pm to pick up the order and the employee who talks to my husband asks the guys if the order is ready yet and the other employee said 1:40! It says 1:40. I mean really? A- it doesn't take 20 minutes to make 2 sandwhiches b- thanks to the girl for the free cookie but you should really check that dudes attitude. That's poor customer service.
