    Carne asada burrito

Great carne asada! Food: -ordered the carne asada burrito and it's delicious. What sets King Taco apart is the carne asada. It's marinated very well, the meat has ALOT of flavor Ambiance: causal and clean Service: good Good spot!

The tacos are fresh, juicy and have good texture. The service is quick and prompt, each dish is prepared by hand. And the restaurant atmosphere is typical taco place.

Not as good as I remember! Sad sad sad or perhaps my taste. No se que pasa! Service was prompt and friendly. I ordered asada tacos. The meat was tough and simply not good! Not too too busy as around 11pm. Place is kept clean and there is plenty of seating. Very old school decor and nothing fancy.

half rotisserie chicken! includes 2 corn tortillas, chips, beans, and a side of rice. only available friday thru sunday

My friend and I went to CicLAmini yesterday and much to her surprise, there was a King Taco on the route! This was our first time at this location and pretty much no complaints like the other one we usually go to. Fair prices, good tacos, clean restaurant. Pretty much sums up the location if you want to stop reading. King Taco offers rotisserie chicken from Friday to Sunday, so this was perfect for me since I'm staying away from carbs. I ordered a half size which came with a side of rice, beans, and 2 corn tortillas (the medium sized ones). Crispy flavorful skin, but extremely dry breast.. That's chicken breast no matter what though. I did take a small bite of rice just to try it and it was standard/good. Nothing special, nothing bad either. Beans were alright, but I'm not a big on beans. My friend ordered 4 tacos as well. She inhaled them, so I'm guessing they were good! I had a bite of some suadero and it was definitely tasty. Friendly staff, fast service. Like I said, no complaints! You really can't go wrong with the prices either.

great food , GARBAGE SERVERS! Servers pick and choose who they want to give extra sauce free of charge. Had an 'Asian' customer asked for extra sauce, the server happily gave it to him and cracked a joke, I come next, asked for an extra one and I get a No and asked to pay $1. lol what a weirdo. Why would I line up in a long line just to buy a sauce when my food is ready? Paid the cashier, pretty sure went to the tip jar. Businesses risk their establishments for $1 for a lifetime of bad review. Still good food , thanks.

No salsa in my cold, rubbery meat tacos.

Every time I come here, they always get my order wrong. I asked to add the salsa on my tacos because I cant stand old dry tortilla, but they didnt add the salsa again! Also, it takes forever to get your order because the employees keep talking and fooling around and the meat tastes cold, old and rubbery. It's really not worth the inflated prices.

Asada Taco's best of the best. In this day and age when prices are slightly rising and everything is changing, the taste of the tacos is one of the best. The unique hot sauce taste and flavor are completely different from other tacos. Sope costs twice as much as tacos, but today it tasted and looked terrible and there was no cabbage. One of the places where it is very inconvenient to walk because the parking lot is very narrow. It's such a shame that it's almost impossible to go there due to parking problems. I really enjoy and like the lively appearance of the aunties who prepare food. I always want to come back here again... but...

Always a great and fast experience here! Elvira was so much help and assisted with signing up for the rewards program!

My favorite taco spot in k town that isn't a taco truck! One of the many things I love about King Taco is that it no matter which one you go to it feels familiar and delicious! This location does a great job of replicating all those good feelings. The ambiance and service is always top notch! Even when there are long lines, your order will come out relatively quickly. The food itself is amazing! I always get their nachos with chicken with tinga! I don't know what that means, just try it! It's delicious sauce stuff! Their steak and al pastor are legit good! The parking lot is the only negative, it's way too small for so many businesses. If you're lucky and patient you can find parking. It's with it though!

    Alejandra A.

Posting about their salsa policy because it's ridiculous one salsa is not enough for a big burrito this is half of it ! The food was fine but they are so stingy with their salsa ! They need to do better! And they don't put enough meat it's mainly rice and beans it used t he better but now their stingy with their meat and salsa

    Tacos Al Pastor
    Renee D.

I anticipated many things for my trip to LA but most of all I was looking forward to some tacos. My thoughts were to sample my favorite Al Pastor ( and some new finds) at every taquearía, taco stand, taco truck and restaurant I encountered as I could. First up was King Taco. Located in Pico Union, this restaurant has a bright roomy interior, a juke box, a security guard and long lines but it moves fast. Each taco was 2.45 which is how it should be and I say this because I've been to places charging as much as 6.50 per taco which is so unfair for street food. My friend prefers burritos and got a nice big one stuffed with chicken, rice and beans for like 8.00 while my three tacos came to about 7.60 with tax. The tacos were good. Meat was flavorful and included sautéed onions as well as cilantro and onion garnish but no pineapple. Not in the garnish or flavor profile. Salsa verde was tasty and spicy but came in the smallest container ever.

We had to get the Michelada Oysters again because I had been craving them since our last visit. They were just as amazing as I remembered--fresh, perfectly seasoned, and seriously addicting. For Dine LA, I started with the Tostada Campechana, which was like an elevated ceviche with scallops, tuna, yellowtail, avocado, and a citrus sesame sauce. Everything tasted super fresh and the citrus gave it the perfect balance. The Bone Marrow Mole was rich, flavorful, and came with a generous portion and toast. For my main course, I had the skirt steak, which was cooked perfectly--tender, well-seasoned, and delicious with the green sauce. The homemade tortillas were amazing too. We ended with the Dulce de Leche Panna Cotta, and it was the perfect finish--creamy, smooth, not overly sweet, and so good we practically cleaned the plate. Amazing food, great portions, beautiful atmosphere, and excellent service. Ka'teen definitely delivered. I would absolutely come back again.

The menu had bunch of small and large plates, alongside lots alcoholic and N/A drinks. I ordered the Strawberry Daiquiri Mocktail that almost tested like a smoothie. The fried calamari, corn, empanadas, short rib tostada and chicken taco, all were good dishes but none of them were mind blowing. Prices were mostly fair. The service was really good. I recognized it from Season 1 of Nobody Wants This, and apparently seeing a restaurant on TV is all the encouragement I need to add another dinner reservation to the calendar. Parking in Los Feliz gave us a little pre-dinner challenge. A friend and I eventually went with valet, while another friend circled a few times before finding street parking. Consider this my future self taking notes: next time, Uber. Walking inside was probably my favorite first impression. Mírate unfolds across multiple levels with warm lighting, greenery, tucked-away lounge areas, and that huge tree in the middle of the courtyard. We were seated upstairs near the top of the stairs by the restroom, which gave us a view down into the main space. Admittedly, I spent a little time admiring the tables around the tree and understanding exactly why that area is such a draw. Something to aim for on a future visit. We ordered several dishes to share. Some of the starters were a little smaller than I expected, but there was plenty of flavor packed into them. The ribeye taco was one of my favorites, with Chihuahua cheese, salsa verde, and a little heat from the Yahualica chile. The octopus taco was right up there with it, paired with Chihuahua cheese, frijoles puercos, and pineapple pico that brought in a nice sweet-savory contrast. Both disappeared quickly, which is generally a good sign at our table. The cocktails were another highlight. Everyone ordered something different and there wasn't a disappointed person in the group. Our server checked in throughout the evening without hovering, which gave us plenty of time to eat, talk, and inevitably compare everyone's drink choices. By the end of dinner, I had already figured out my strategy for round two: Uber there, explore a little more of the cocktail menu, and see if we can snag one of those coveted tables near the tree. Even if we don't, I'd happily come back.
