Perfect timing on the pick up order. To the minute! I walked in as they called my name for pick up. Super fresh. The only issue is they didn't put the stuff on the side that I asked for. I placed the a order on the app . I specifically asked for something not to be put on the sub and for it to be on the side. When arrived it wasn't put on the side. The sandwich is already soggy, which is why I wanted it on the side from the beginning. They swore it wasn't put on the sandwich but it was. All they had to do was remake the sub. I have tried 4 times to eat at the spring mills JM. 1 out of 4 had been a good experience they play way to much here for a food business. They violate food safety way too much here. They have their servsafe certification on the wall but don't practice it. Tonight was an easy order one number 66 a Philly with portabella mushroom on it. I added lettuce, mayo and tomatoes. First I had to stop her she was about to put 16oz of lettuce on a normal size sub. She cooked the peppers and onions and the bread. Melted the cheese. Put a little lettuce, one tomato and a little mayo on the sandwich, then realized that it was supposed to have portabella mushrooms so she quickly in 20 seconds sautés them (lol) place them on top and wrapped it up. Again playing too much to even read the ticket. Stay away from this store. Update. Spoke with manager my issue was with spring mills store. She was very nice and we agreed it would be a teachable issue and I didn't want a replacement. Hopefully they learn from my complaint. read more

When I called the store to complain, the manager told me that, that was the way they served it in his store.He told me I should've requested the lettuce in the comments section. When I asked for credit, he told me no, as the order was sold as they make it in his store. I wish there was a way for me to attach a photo of the bowl that cost $8.75. The slogan of West Virginia is "Almost Heaven". I think the closest you can get go heaven in West Virginia is this Jersey Mikes. Employees are always happy and very friendly. You'll never find bad service. The food is incredible. Im sorry but this puts Subway out of business, sometimes literally. In the same development there used to be a Subway, and it's long gone. I'm not sure why the negativity about this place. I LOVE Jersey Mike's. The Original Italian is the BOMB and just like the ones from the deli back in Jersey. It was huge, fresh and finally (!) on the right bread. It had just the perfect amount of oil and vinegar and I could seriously eat this every day. The staff was super courteous and friendly and above all, this store was clean. Plus, huge bonus with the online ordering because I can scoot out during work and just grab my lunch and go. Great subs. Made with freshly sliced meats and cheeses. Toppings are fresh and plentiful. Available in 3 sizes plus child sized. Wraps and Udi's gluten free rolls available. Sub salads are great for dieters. Staff is professional and courteous. Plenty of hot and cold choices or they will custom make your sub. I love my tuna wraps there, and that's hard to find as opposed to a sub. AND....you get a choice of the type of wrap! I have been to three different Jersey Mikes, including Martinsburg and appreciate their friendliness, how they say hi to you as you walk in the door. Their food is fresh, meat is freshly sliced since the slicing machine is right there. And....their bathroom is clean as well! The price is reasonable and they have a soda dispenser. read more

Went in to get a sub since I've been there a few times. Right off the bat I got the worst vibe ever. I've heard real bad stories the past 6 months about the managers, but I didn't believe anything until I walked right in. With an open kitchen concept you can hear everything, and I could hear a manager yelling at an employee. All because they didn't put lettuce on the sub correctly. I got the number 13, aka italian, and I must say it was the worst sub I've had in my entire life. Very rude to the employees, very bad subs, but with very fake employees. The food is not good enough for the price, and the environment is way too fake to feel comfortable in there. I've worked in the food industry, and although you should respect the customer, it shouldn't be forced/faked. If you want a good sub for a good price and nice environment, I would head to Firehouse. read more

My family and I had a house fire on 9-18-19. I went in on the 20th to get my family dinner and Mikayla asked how I was doing and that she hadn't seen me in a while. What's with the low ratings??? These subs are excellent. Freshly cut high quality meats and a super friendly staff. Our favorites are the club sub (crispy bacon!) and the Italian. Buffalo chicken, turkey and provolone, and the turkey wrap are also really good. We usually get mini size subs or get a tub Mike's way which is so tasty. I'll never go to Subway again. read more

Update: I thank you but no thank you. I understand that a bad review makes your company look bad. I get that. But what's worse is to lie about it. Own it. Anyone that specializes in customer service, would apologize first, then explain. Not to go to extra lengths to ensure that they remain looking good. First off-no apology. Secondly, yes, the sandwich was remade, but only after my husband had to demand that the General Manager- Michaela was called at home to authorize it. After repeatedly stating that "we don't do that, because people try to get free food." Finally, after about 10 minutes of arguing back and forth, a deep-sigh "fine, we'll remake it" was given to authorize the remaking of a sandwich that your restaurant messed up in the first place. We didn't bring in a half eaten sandwich! It was a sandwich that was not even opened and you could smell the onions through the bag! And to lie about the coupon-really??? So, where did I get the information about a $5.00 coupon? The sky? You said it, your associate said it, and I declined it. Not going to argue with a subpar sandwich shop over a 10 dollar sandwich. What's more effective? I usually eat hear at least two times a week the family that owns this establishment is very friendly and hard working every time I go in I am greeted with smiles and friendly gestures..this place hands down offers the best and freshest sub in our area and I am a sub Connoisseur!! Being from northern Connecticut I never had the pleasure of tasting a Jersey Mike's sub.Then I transferred for my job to Vermont. None there either. When I retired we moved to West Virginia in 2011. After two years of boredom I started working part-time at The Home Depot in Hagerstown. Well guess what was around the corner? Jersey Mike's! They came highly recommend by my co-workers so I ended up just about once a week going there after work(usually 5 or 6pm) and bringing (we called them "grinders" in Connecticut)them home to Hedgesville. The manager there was so kind and friendly.I believe Mikayla worked there too at the time.I used to live in the same development in Hedgesville and she would tell me that they were going to open one in Martinsburg. And now here they are and we are off Ridge Rd. S, only ten minutes form them. Mikayla is an angel. For some reason our street(pretty new) is not recognized when I tried to order for delivery and Mikayla actually brought it to our house herself!
