I've been to this location twice. It's always clean and the people are pretty friendly. We went on Memorial Day and it was dead in there. Yay for me! It took a minute for me and my husband to decide but the guy at the counter was patient. We ordered and he made em pretty quick. Since it was so slow another guy rang us up while our sandwiches were being finished. Quick and easy I like that. I got, I believe, the club sub and my husband got the club supreme. It was so good I ate the whole thing when I only planned on eating half. The bacon was soooo delicious. It's rare to get a sandwich and the bacon is still at bit crispy. I had my first terrible experience with Jersey Mike's. At first, I was pleasantly greeted by a female worker w black hair tonight at 815pm- until I ordered 6 sandwiches and her attitude switched. She was no longer super sweet. She started my sandwiches with flat and floppy bread that she flattened even further while she cut the bread in half pushing strangely aggressive. She barely put any oil & vinegar salt pepper or oregano on them like I asked. When it came time time to cut the completed sandwiches into sections, she smashed them to cut it. So then I was forced to ask her not to smash my sandwiches while she cut them. They've been trained for this basic task and I've had her make sandwiches before where she was capable of not smushing them. How is any squished food appetizing? So then she takes it further and seems to play around and gently touches the knife to the bread to cut as if my request was tedious and unusual. It took her forever to get through the bread and at this point it's almost comical because I'm about to pay for this damn food. The nail in the coffin is after I PAY my family heads over to get our fountain drinks and I try a swig of the sweetened tea and .... it had turned! It was SPOILED!!! I frantically tell her the tea has turned And she gives me another cup without a word. I AM F-ing MORTIFIED! How long do you think the tea had to be sitting in there to have spoiled? Disgusting. As a national sales manager for a big fortune 500 firm , this young lady has some great characteristic , mannerism and overall positive energy similar to many professionals I deal with. She had a colleague as well named Ariel who was also very friendly. When making the sandwiches , Akcire made them as if it was for family or even herself. I would give a zero to this place. I ordered 2 subs on Jersey Mike's app for delivery on 11/4/22. My husband is a diabetic. Delivery was about 80 minutes. After I never got my delivery. I contacted them thru the app. I got a text saying my entire order was canceled because they were out of #44. No one ever called me to see if I wanted to order anything else. It took them 90 minutes to tell me my order is canceled???? They couldn't take the time to call me ??? I still haven't got a refund. I called Carlie, who says she's the manager. I went into this Jersey Mikes located at 26150 Iris Avenue, Moreno Valley, CA today, July 14, 201 at 11:25 AM to order a sandwich. What I experienced for the 20 minutes I was in the store was absolutely horrible customer service and uncleanliness. There was an older lady a few people ahead of me and she had ordered a sandwich on wheat bread. When she mentioned to the sandwich maker, a black guy that she wanted wheat and not white, he told her well he couldn't make her another sandwich because they would need to throw that one away and then another white guy that was working there just shrugged his shoulders like oh well and kind of smirked at the lady. When the lady asked for his name he said we can't give out that information. I am not sure why employees are not made to wear name badges like most retail establishments do. Then I noticed that the black employee who was slicing the meat, was placing a piece of paper on top of each sandwich as he was sliding them over to the next employee. I told him he should not be putting paper which is a foreign substance on top of a person's sandwich that they are going to consume. He said to me with a an attitude, "What" and when I repeated what I said he said, "That's how we do it." I asked him to remove the paper from on top of the sandwich which he refused to do. I am sure Jersey Mike's is not teaching employees to possibly contaminate food by putting paper on top of them. Even a few other customers that were in the store at that time said to him, "She's right." But he refused to remove the paper. Having anything like this that could cause cross contamination is bad, but especially in this time of Covid. Then I noticed to the left of the female employee, is a sandwich just sitting on the stainless steel top which is contaminated with germs, thus why they are supposed to keep sandwiches on the white cutting board. Jersey Mikes needs to do better job of training their employees and also making them go through some type of customer service/sensitivity training because the employees in this store at the time I was in there need to be trained. Their unprofessional, rude and arrogant attitude is the reason I will not patronize Jersey Mikes again and I will encourage my friends and family to do the same. I recommend #13 The Original Italian - my favorite. It has provolone, ham, prosciuttini and cappacuolo. I always get it with Rosemary Parmesan bread and Mike's Way (onions, lettuce, tomatoes, olive oil blend, red wine vinegar and spices). Extra mayo to enhance the flavor and moisture. I'm not into hot subs, but Mike's Famous Philly is good! I've never ordered a sandwich in person here. I've only order online or on the phone because more efficient. The young lady in the photo came out of the room he asked if they can wrap a hot Sub? She mumbled something to him but directly responded to me "Yeah we can put it in a wrap and if it tears and fall apart then it's on you!" With the nastiest tone and attitude ever. So l asked her name she snarled at responded sharply "I don't have to give you my name!" I asked if she was the Manager, before she walked away her response no I'm the Lead. Wow! I thought I asked for her Manager name and Corporate phone number she declined to give it to me, she headed in the back and never returned back insight until a person brought a return order in. I was waited inside while Googling Corporate information fron inside of the store also to see if this young lady would give me the information I requested so I could leave. At 6:30pm on 6/8/2021, walking in the door they told me they were filling a catering order and they ran out of bread. Which is totally fine, I came for a sub in a tub. So I said it was fine and told them my order. I waited for 20 minutes watching them finish their catering order. I understand they had a big order but being that I was a customer in front of them, it only makes sense for them to finish my order to get me out. Instead, I watched two employees make sandwiches with the bread I couldn't eat. This post is in the hopes for managers to teach their employees to make better choices with time management.
