I returned by invitation of the owner as it seems he does for all the bad reviews he gets. I went during lunch rush and was immediately greeted by an employee (there was only 3 customers there). My impressions of the sandwich The bread is bad it's dry and crumbly (not in a toasted way) on the top but the bottom quickly soaks up all the moister it can and becomes very soggy. The meat was freshly sliced and absolutely delicious. The tomatoes were green and quickly thrown into the garbage. Overall the meat makes this otherwise disgusting sandwich OK. This sandwich was free but normal price is $10.00 which is way to high but at 2 for $10 it was OK. Steve please listen to what people are saying then maybe the lunch rush will be 40 not 4 people. The bread is nasty go to Jimmy Johns order a sandwich thats how your bread should be. Lower your prices $10 for a sandwich is unreal I can go and have a sit down restaurant meal for $10. I was looking for a quick eat and I happened to be near a Jersey Mike's and I thought, "Everyday's a day for new things." Service was prompt and friendly, although, I was the only person there besides one other customer. Their menu isn't that diverse. They have 10 COLD subs and 6 HOT subs, 3 of which are philly cheesteaks, wraps, A salad, and something called a sub in a tub. I ordered a "GIANT" (That's what they call it) sized Turkey and Provolone sub on wheat bread to take and share with my sister. Just like subway, they ask what you want on your sandwhich and you say yay or nay to various toppings. They really weren't lying about Giant. The bread was over a footlong and quite wide. They weren't easy on the meat either. The taste, however, lacks anything memorable. The turkey and cheese were really salty, and the bread wasn't anything too special. It was just par with anything else I 've eaten, really. The vegetables were really fresh though and I enjoyed the sound of lettuce crunching as I bit down. It was about $11.00 for the behemoth so nothing too cheap, considering Subway has their 5$ footlongs. If I was stranded somewhere with nothing but Jersey Mike's I would probably go back. If I can leave pictures I would we have hair in our food because the girls do not wear hair nets and just pile sauce and put little cheese on the sandwiches. Avoid this location. I have eaten here twice and both times have been a big disappointment. The bread at this location is over cooked or stale. It isn't soft like at other Jersey Mike's I've been to. And I have been to several. I also asked for my sandwich meat and cheese to be hot. It was mildly warm at best. Also, the balding guy behind the counter was borderline rude to the customers. It would be worth your time to go into Everett to the location on Evergreen Way. Those guys have their act together and the bread is fresh. read more

I tried this place when they had a free sub offer and I am sold for life. It's the only subs that is worth eating around here. Only other place I could think of that is on par is Tat's deli in Pioneer square in Seattle. Good service. Fast. Big portions. Sorry to say this location tastes better than one near Everett Mall. You have probably had Jersey Mike's and so you know if you like their sandwiches or not. My review is based on the service we received on the 4th of July. It was getting near the end of the day which we had spent cleaning, packing and loading up our belongings to move down to Puyallup. Looking for something simple, we order Jersey Mike's. Even though they were working the late shift on a holiday, the two guys working were friendly and entertaining and our sandwiches were ready for us when we arrived. I found this place while walking past my bosses desk and noticed this fresh sub right before lunch. It looked fresh, tasty and more importantly i was hungry. So I did what any starving employee when approached by pure deliciousness, I googled it. Luckly I was only 10 minutes away according to GPS. Jersey Mikes was a easy to find and upon entering inside and seeing them slice the meat i knew this place had to be good. I ordered the Chipotle Cheese Steak (Grilled onions, peppers, chipotle mayo) while watching them grill the meat and cheese and not nuke it in a microwave or "oven" was impressed. Everything about it tasted fresh and was a welcome change to Subway. The sizes of their subs are equally impressive the regular size is 7.5 inches while their Giant size usually about $3-$4 more is 15" something you can easily share and worth the value. Next time im up around this area for work I'll happily make my way here to eat again. read more

Great place I love Jersey Mikes and this location was out of town for me and treated my friends and I well.

Arrived to find a packed house at 11 AM. We certainly didn't beat the rush this time. I had the roast beef sub Mike's way. Excellent cuisine. Suzy had the Philly Cheesesteak hot tub. It took an extra ten minutes to prepare but was really worth it. When I get subs, I normally order the regular and save half for the next day. Today I devoured the savory delight and post haste. We'll be back. ------ Note: Just had a friend revel in a 'typeo', blasting it out to his friends. Sucks to be known as the tech writer who can't spell, which is true by the way. When I said tub, he insisted I meant sub. One of the options on the Jersey Mike's sub is the tub which turns out to be a salad of sub makin's. Best sub shop in the area. They keep all meat in a refrigerator that is built into the service counter. It has a glass back to it so the customers can see it all and how clean it is in there. They pull it out and slice it when you order it. It isn't pre-sliced and packed between wax paper for who knows how long like Subway. When you ask for veggies on it you get veggies. Tons of veggies. So many that you can't keep them all on the sandwich when they roll it up in the paper wrapper. The staff is always fast and friendly. A staple in our house. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I have been to this Mukilteo location a handful of times and have been disappointed each time. I will not be giving them another chance. The staff is rude, they don't seem to know what they are doing or how to work together. One time I was waiting to be cashed out during a busy lunch and the cashier walked outside and took a break. After working my third 12 hour shift at the hospital, I stopped to get sandwiches for dinner. We haven't been to Jersey Mike's for months because they always mess our order up. I watched them make our sandwiches and while I was paying they gave me the wrong sandwiches. How does this happen again!!!! We are done, go to Firehouse or Subway because they can't even hand you the correct thing. I couldn't eat mine, it had relish, wrong meat, lots of vinegar. My husband ate half then was done. I am too tired to get dressed and go back to get what we actually ordered. I am so confused how this keeps happening, at least it will not happen again because we will never give them our money for nothing. They took our money and gave us something we could not eat, great customer service, anyone else want a sandwich they can't eat? We work so hard in the hospital and you are so tired you just want to shower, eat and go to bed. The food at the hospital is better! Seriously people go to Firehouse or Subway, it will be better. I never had a problem with the quality of the food here, and for the most part, I still don't What I do have a problem with, is the way they treat their employees. I recently found out about a hard working employee at the Mukilteo location who was being punished for actually doing his job. Some of the employees there 'clean' the dishes by spritzing a little bit of cleaner on the soiled dishes and just letting it dry. When this star employee actually scrubbed them and sanitized them, he was punished for taking too long, and he is the only person there who ever cleans the restrooms. He has always gone out of his way and continually been shit on. I refuse to eat there anymore as a personal statement. I'll still go to the one in Renton but that is because they treat their employees with respect. read more

It was quick, easy, nice staff, expensive and plain. For the almost $8 I spent on the thing, I expected more than the soggy poorly wrapped wrap. It was cheap horrible turkey, white shredded lettuce, and some watery salad dressing. Really seemed like something a child put together, the ingredients are something I'd expect to be on sale at the grocery store because the expiration date is tomorrow. The wrap did not STAY wrapped. Have had the subs here quite a few times. They are huge and full of good stuff. So why the three stars, inconsistency..They beat the pants off of Subway or Quiznos, but they're different every time I get one. Sometimes dry, sometimes so wet they are falling apart. When we walked through the door the kid behind the counter was great and helpful! Then walked in some guy who acted like he was a manager but who knows. He treated us like we weren't worthy of being in his store. He was condescending and then accusatory in the end when he noticed as we were leaving that some cheap give-away toy was missing off his display. I told him there was only the one hanging there when we walked in - but the look he gave me when I said good bye was more like I robbed the place. This place is straight-up amazing! I am in there at least a couple of times a week. Their food is craveable - not just good, but the kind that you dream about at midnight when you know the place is already closed. The sandwiches are so fresh and tasty and a giant will give you both lunch and dinner. A sandwich runs around $10, but it is well worth it, and like I said, it will give you 2 meals. Definitely go for "Mike's Way" with all the oil, vinegar, veggies, and yummies. They even put a little extra lettuce on my sammy for my kitty who also loves Jersey Mike's. I have been to the Jersey Mikes at Smokey Point and Edmonds. This is another great Mikes and this is the spot for the best sandwich on the Mukilteo Speedway. Nice friendly folks, really clean shop and fresh sliced meat, vegs and the new rosemary/parmigiano crusted bread. We shared a super Club Supreme sandwich with ham added. 12 inches of fresh and delishousness enjoyed by 2 lovers staring into each others eyes. I love this place! Always the same smiling welcoming employees, they make sure your sandwich is exactly how you like it before wrapping it up and they are always pretty speedy with orders! My only small complaint would be that when you order/pay online and go to the check out to pick up sometimes the people in line end up cutting to pay first when I just need to grab and go.
