I thought I would use these beans to add to the tacos, which I still did, but it's not whole beans like it is when you order Coast Style (beans and cheese). The beans are good though. 4. The corn tortillas and salsas are the best part. Here's my biggest opinion - 5. Veggie tacos should already come with beans! Why are vegetarians paying the same price for a carne asada taco and we still have to request beans (and cheese) to be charged $1.50? Kinda crazy. 6. Don't bother with the veggie mulita. The veggies just fall out because they're so juicy so it's hard to eat and you end up eating it like a taco anyway (with no guac). Their Baja lager is a great beer though. I'd pick up a 6-pack of their Mexican lager for sure.

Parking can be a little tricky since the lot is small and usually pretty full, so you either have to get lucky or street park farther down and walk over. The line can get long too, but this time we waited about 30 to 40 minutes total from getting in line to receiving our food, which felt pretty reasonable considering how busy they were. The staff was also friendly and welcoming throughout. On our first visit, we got the Tanner Prime Burger with a single patty and left wishing we had tried the double. This time we finally did, and it completely changed the experience. They definitely don't skimp on the meat, and the double patty makes the burger significantly heavier and much more filling. I still enjoyed it, but personally, I actually preferred the balance of the single patty and will probably go back to that next time. The Tallow Fries were also great, with a really flavorful, crispy texture. I may have gotten a little ahead of myself with the double patty this time, but Tanner's is still a spot I really enjoy and look forward to coming back to.

I went in not even wanting a sandwich. The place was chosen by my pals I was with. I walked in and all the employees, (Faith, Dylan, Logan and Dane) all greeted me. Then faith, asked what would you like today and my order was a complex one and she met all my needs instantly by accepting my request which I was super pleased then. Logan then new right away and offered me buffalo when I had to no clue of the sauce and that just made my day. Dane was one of the greatest cashiers I've ever encountered and Dylan was just super consistent with asking me if I wanted anything else!!! By far the greatest experience, I've had with any restaurant. Truly felt blessed walking into Jersey Mike's. I know now I'm no longer a subway girl, only a jersey mikes girl now ;) I hope all these employees get recognition. I felt at home here. I will be coming again and refer many friends!! read more

I know this has nothing to do with eating at this Jersey Mikes but last night they were closed , I went to the lab across the street just for a drink and my car got towed. What the owner has nothing better to do than tow people from the parking lot!!! I have lived in Oceanside close to beach for 10 years and never had my car towed!!! I will never eat there and tell everyone I know not to too!!! It's a big scam going on between tow company and the owner!! You should be ashamed of yourself!! If you can't make money selling sandwiches I guess you have to prey on people to tow their cars!!! This Jersey Mikes Sucks!!!!! Don't go there!!!!! When we explained this to the cashier, his response was very rude. He immediately said that any other employee would tell us to order through the kiosk, making it clear that he did not want to assist us. Although he eventually took our order, he was not welcoming, barely communicated with us, and his attitude made it feel like he did not care about taking our order correctly. The cleanliness of the location was also unacceptable. The tables were dirty, and no one came by to wipe them down. The trash cans were overflowing, and when my daughter needed to use the restroom, there was paper all over the floor. To make matters worse, the ice machine was not working, and customers were expected to get ice from a large bucket instead. Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience. I hope management addresses the customer service, cleanliness, and maintenance issues because customers deserve a much better experience, especially because the problem isn't the food, it's the customer service and cleanliness.

Service for me has usually been timely and friendly. I still order the roast beef and provolone on a extra large sub and get it with all the veggies. Taste-wise, the sandwich is still as I remember it as a kid. Simple flavors and fresh ingredients. What keeps me from coming back very often is how much the price of an extra larg sub sandwich has increased. It's almost $20 now as of the time of this review. Though admittedly, I will say the nostalgia is what keeps me coming back.

my friend & i had a really disappointing, confusing & upsetting experience with the staff member…read morenamed destiny at this location tonight. we came around 9pm, & he first asked if they were making more honey sesame chicken & super greens. this immediately gave her a sour facial expression & she snarkily said "yeah, but you would have to wait". i then asked if they were also planning on making more buldak chicken too. she had the same facial expression of disgust and repeated herself VERBATIM, the sense of being inconvenienced as if she was cooking the dishes herself. i initially dismissed this, figuring she probably had a long day. for context, i tried the buldak chicken for the first time about a week prior at this same location. this dish obviously has bell peppers & at the time, i asked the super polite lady (i caught her name but can't remember) if there is any way at all that she could do me a favor not to get as many bell peppers in my order if i were to opt for the buldak chicken; if not, i didn't mind ordering something else. that lady was enthusiastic & willing to go the extra mile to just gently scoop around the bell peppers for me. fast forward to today, i proceeded to ask destiny for the same favor & prefaced my question with "i KNOW this may be odd to ask, but could you please try to avoid including bell peppers". her face continued to sour, transitioned to an offended facial expression as if i've just personally insulted her bloodline.
