I mean wow! I eat sandwiches almost every day. Hero's, Italians, veggies, meatball, turkey, you name it, I eat it. And lately I have been in a slump. Last week I got a tuna fish from a local deli....it was soggy! Got a turkey from my favorite local connect....it was dry and tasted like it was old. Then on Wednesday, I made my own peanut butter and jelly at home, and I cracked my tooth on one of the crunchy peanuts!!!!!!!!!!! I was entering a sandwich crisis, and I didn't know what to do. Then, Just before I was ready to quit sandwiches for good. :(. My friend invited me to Jersey mikes. I went reluctantly as I usually avoid chains for smaller more boutique sandwich shops. However I went anyway. I ordered the Italian....mikes way... it came out and I was feeling sad and lethargic.... but after the first bite, I knew my life had changed. The sandwich was bursting with flavors and had the perfect ratio of meat to veggies. I cherished every bite! My spirits were starting to elevate. I decided I had to order another sandwich. I tried the turkey, it actually changed my life. I can honestly say I'm a better human being after eating these sandwiches. I had an awesome experience at this Jersey Mike's. Upon entering the store I was greeted by Alexa who smiled and ask me how my day was. It being close to closing time, I didn't expect such a warm welcome. She then asked me what type of sandwich I wanted, I was a bit indecisive but she was patient and offered suggestions as to what type of items I may like. I landed on the original Italian sub - Mike's way. Alexa then carefully made the sandwich which I paired with chips and a drink. She then rang me up with a smile, thank me for coming and wished me a good night. Absolutely amazed at this place. I was hungry and driving around and came upon this jersey mikes so I decided to try it out. I ordered the big kahuna cheesesteak and then when I got to the register and tried handing the cashier a $100 bill she said sorry we don't accept bills larger than a $20 on weekends and pointed to the chip reader for me to swipe my card. I looked at her and kindly asked what if I don't have my wallet on me (because truth be told it was in my car) and all she said was sorry. Who the heck doesn't take cash money. Wtf. The stuff here are unprofessional, argumentative, and DO NOT follow the corporate policy to change gloves between sandwiches. I'm severely allergic to beef and pork and when we noticed that they hadn't changed gloves while making our food, we asked for a refund. The manager, Megan, refused saying it wasn't there fault that I'm allergic. I asked if it was corporate policy to change gloves in between and she said it was. Which they were not doing even as she was speaking to me. She proceeded to argue with me about $35. I told her that it's not even about getting a refund at this point. this place is hit or miss. i've had good experiences here and 2 bad experiences. on 2 separate occasions i've showed up about an hour before closing and already cleaning or they are "out" of certain types of bread or condiments. 1 time i showed up and the open sign was turned off. ? i'm not sure if there's a cut off time to stop making bread or to start cleaning. but an hour before closing? give me a break. i've already gotten used to the lackluster customer service i've received here. i know that no one likes to work but a smile or at least a welcome would be nice. i mean, even Subway says welcome when you walk in. read more

Came in tonight, no one was in line. Ordered the club sub and club supreme. Scott and I think his name is Ryan didn't seem to know what goes into the sanwhiches. We told Ryan we wanted Mike's way on both. Ryan kept asking us what condiments we wanted on our sandwich and we kept saying Mike's way. He proceeded to cut my sandwich but I asked him doesn't it come with bacon? And they both looked at each other unsure. I was eating my sandwich and bit into something plasticky. The worst experience ever at jersey mikes! It seems when they get busy they get careless and rude. I ordered three sandwiches one of which was made correctly. I said I wanted wanna peppers on a sandwich to which they heard buffalo sause and banana peppers. When I corrected them they insisted I asked for buffalo sauce. The lady next to him decided to join the convo and tell me I asked for buffalo sauce with an attitude and a shitty expression on her face. I work in the service industry and they all but one the guy who was furthest away had an attitude! Nothing's wrong with the food. I'd say this place is pretty standard as JM's go. I did just walk out with a bad taste in my mouth due to their associate's behavior though. I think his name is Brent. He was talking with his female coworker about how he was criticized for how he cleaned the grill for quite some time. That's not that bad, but I did notice it. What I definitely wasn't on board with was him chanting, "Don't do it, don't do that to me. Go somewhere else," when he saw two men hovering outside the restaurant. Mind you their location wasn't going to close for another 40 minutes. I understand working on a Saturday night sucks, but your hours are your hours and your customers should feel comfortable to patronize the establishment. He cheered, "yesss," when they decided to go down the way and not enter. Owner, if you're reading, just know the people you employ are costing you customers. I would've loved to give this place a better review, but alas, I couldn't bring myself to do it. This place is clean and the sandwiches are delicious. I was greeted, about a month ago, with a warm welcome from whom I assumed was the manager. The first two girls, one slicing (which is fabulous, they slice their own meat and cheese) and one making the sandwich, were incredibly nice and friendly. They made jokes and apologized for the wait, which wasn't long at all. I've never written a review before, but it was the older woman on the cash register who pushed me to the edge. At first, she was wrapping the sandwiches, but then, the man on the register left, switching the older woman (I think I heard one of the other employees call her Kathy), to the register. Before this happened, however, 'Kathy' took apart my sandwich to see which one it was, even though I thought it was obvious, since I ordered a turkey. It came apart and a few ingredients spilled out, which she decided to shove back into it. Then, she proceeded to SMASH the sandwich down and the wrapping was so loose, the sandwich was sticking out of the paper when I got home. ***The WHOLE time this was happening she was distracted by my child. My daughter is very young and shy. I know 'Kathy' thought she was being polite, but my daughter was vividly hiding behind me. She kept asking her questions, when she should've been doing her job. Frankly, she was scaring my daughter. I just wanted to get my sandwich and get the hell out. When she finally did ring up my order, which took a couple minutes because she kept hitting the wrong buttons or something (??), it was with an attitude. She was upset I asked to enter my phone number, (for Shore Points), because she already went to the checkout screen. When I was ready to slide my card, she reaches over and TAPS the okay button for me. It's my money and card. I felt it unprofessional and inappropriate of her to approve my credit transaction for me. As I was filling my drink, she came around and continued to talk for 10 minutes about her job at the Angel's Stadium and, again, talk to my daughter. I didn't want to seem rude and tell her I wanted to leave, but I wish 'Kathy' noticed I was trying to slowly walking away. Honestly, I wasn't too angry, I just wanted to leave, then the worst happened. As she finally did get to letting us leave, she patted my THREE-YEAR-OLD daughter on the head and tried to lean over and KISS her forehead. I was, and still am, OUTRAGED. This place seems like it would've been a lovely place to become a regular at, but now I am too terrified to go back. Especially, because I am usually with my daughter. ***Side note: 'Kathy' charged me for a regular sized sandwich, instead of the small, which is what I ordered. Maybe, I would've noticed if I could have looked at the price before she hit the okay button on my transaction. THANK GOD, I paid with my card. I'd hate her to mess up a cash order, which I feel like she might do. What I did find funny was her comment about how she was so old, she needed her glasses. I agree completely with that statement. I just don't understand how one employee could act so unprincipled. Her work ethic was ridiculous and I can't believe the amount of mistakes she made. Although the other staff seemed wonderful, I do have to contemplate why they allow her behavior to go on. It must reflect badly on her coworkers. I sincerely hope they discuss her future at Jersey Mike's, or at least the areas she could improve. I'm sure I can't be the only one of her victims. I've had a better experience at other locations. The sandwich was okay but it seemed the quality wasn't up to par. The tomatoes were a bit too ripe and too much oil and vinegar. I must say, I have been here a few times now and each time has greatly improved. That is with the customer service. The first time was a few weeks ago. The staff were really rude and it was really slow. But I decided the give this location another chance on a different day. I went again today (6/17) and they actually seemed to want my business. It was by far the best experience. I tried a different sandwich and asked a few questions and the manager on staff (tall girl with glasses) had no issue answering with a sincere smile. I have had 2 different sandwiches, the big kahuna cheese steak and the Cali club. My girlfriend and I were pleased with this new outcome. I can not describe how awesome they tasted and it's my favorite sub place to date! read more

I came into the restaurant at like 8:48pm (enough time for Pedro) to make a sandwich before closing time. When I walked in, it seemed as if I was walking into a bar with loud rap music playing in the background with profanity being exposed. As I was looking at the menu, I was told there was only wheat bread available and agreed to proceed with my purchase of a giant club supreme, Pedro charged me for the sandwich and after the transaction was complete, he decides to tell me that he has no bacon. I told Pedro he should have notified me before I swiped my card, and that's when he said "I mean it is only 10minutes before closing". Instead of arguing with the irrate employee, I just told him to refund me, and to tell people next time of what condiments you do carry before charging a customer. As I was walking away, he turned up his rap music once again, and said "have a good night!" I walked back and asked for his name, he said, "Oh, it's Pedro!" Bye sir. Management here really needs to look into who is hired on, being employed for anyone is a privilege and people like Pedro don't understand that. Someone else would have at least showed empathy in regards to the lack of condiments. It is sad to know that a Hispanic (like me) shows little to none mounts of respect to people and service. 5 stars for Rohelio! I'm not positive that I spelled that right but I honestly always have a 5 star experience when he is working. He puts so much love into crafting sandwiches and wraps. Thank you Rohelio for always being 100%! Some of the other workers are a little unfriendly at times and make you feel rushed out the door and make messy sandwiches but I am a regular at this location (atleast once a week) and I have hit other Jersey Mike's but they definitely aren't as clean and consistent as this location. Been here three times and I can say that I've enjoyed the subs each time. They are made fresh with lots of freshly sliced meats, cheese and freshly baked bread. We like the original italian, Mike's Way with extra pepperoncini's. One tip - if you order it with the vinegar and oil, eat it there or hurry it home, otherwise the lettuce will get soggy. read more
