Service here is incredibly unorganized. My staff have picked up twice. The first time our order wasn't ready which delayed my employee 10-20 mins. The second time was today when we ordered just to arrive and find out they were out of meat for the A1 sub we ordered. No call or reach out, waited until we got there to let us know. I love love a good deli . Especially these mom and pop shops in the commercial plazas. These are the ones that need our support the most A1 stood out in the photos so I finally got to try. Plenty of parking Super friendly service. Gave me all the recommendations I needed. Didn't even have to ask for chili peppers. The sandwiches. Philly cheesesteak was very good. Excellent soft bread that soak up the flavors. Not too cheesy not too much meat just right Turkey avocado bacon was also very good. 10 inch must be more than a foot seems like. Go small businesses! I came as a first timer after debating what to eat and after reading some of reviews started heading there. Good parking in an industrial business parking lot. I couldn't decide between the turkey bacon cheese avocado sandwich on squaw or tuna salad. I ended up going with the recommendation for turkey on toasted bread which was delish! Good portion, the sandwich was heavier on the avocado which is a problem I don't mind having yum!! You also get banana peppers and pickles... perfect pairing. They have soups that rotate which I'll have to try next time I'm here as well as weekly specials. I'm updating the menu in my pics so everyone can decide between what loaded goodness they want. The popular ones I was told was the A1 sandwich which is a take on Italian and their roast beef which I'll be back for. As for service and speed, I came when it wasn't busy. My instinct is to always get this on rye bread, but because of the slaw it might've soaked through, they recommended the French roll. A small was ample... A large 6+ inches of goodness. The staff could not have been more enthusiastic and accommodating. The kind of place where they truly value every customer who walks in the door. Very simple request of getting a turkey and bacon wrap i said please no avocado i do not like the taste of it. She recommended i add cheese and i said okay great was happy with recommendations. But nothing bothers me more than when i order something and its done incorrectly i gave it a chance anyway tried eating it but even with the cheese i was just tasting the veggies and guac. No flavor needed some salt or dressing and for 15$ plus tip. Here is a very lovely homemade & homey sandwich restaurant in Orange From parking and walking into the restaurant, I can feel right away this is a very friendly and local place. Everyone smiles and greets each other by name. It's a very wholesome atmosphere that you'll want to go back!! They have a variety of hot and cold sandwiches - all homemade from scratch. You can also get A LOT of drinks and chips as a side. Actually, they have the most variety of chips I've seen in LA since moving here LOL Mine one features hot turkey which is warm and yummy. It's not often I crave for a deli sandwich but when I do, I now have my go to spot. I ordered their most popular cold sandwich, the A-1 Super Sub and one hot sandwich, the Hot Roast Beef. Super Sub - it came with a whole lot of everything. Roast beef, breast of turkey, sliced ham, cheese and avocado. The green sauce they added in there is so good. It really goes well with the whole sub. It mash up very well with mayo and mustard. I usually would have added so much mustard over this sub, but it didn't need it. This sub was so huge, it was definitely hard to bite into it. I would order this again Hot Roast Beef - Extra lean roast beef, comes with cheese and mystery sauce. By the time I ate half way through, I thought to myself, damn, this is good. Two different sizes of loaf to choose from: 6" or 10". Four different types of breads. and they load it up with veggies: lettuce, tomatoes and onions, with a side of pepperoncini. They have a wide of selection to choose from, so if you're nearby, you can really eat something different everyday! Soup, salads, sandwiches & MORE! They also cater as well. If I worked close by, this would have been my go to spot for lunch. read more
