Today- March 31, 2021 Jersey Mike's is doing a fundraiser for phoenix children hospital. We have been planning to help support this for a week now. My husband ordered our food for pickup at 4. We are told our food will be ready at 6:15. We get there and they are out of bread so our sandwich is unmade. 1- why wouldn't you call a customer who has been waiting for almost two hours. 2- why would you be accepting orders still. 3- why wouldn't you prepare for this fundraiser. One of my favorite sandwich shops really dropped the ball today. Good job guys. read more

I always go to the Jersey Mikes on Lake Pleasant. Usually great service. Unfortunately, I called an order in for two toasted sandwiches and arrived to cold sandwiches. I approached the register to tell them they weren't toasted. The gentleman says, "that's because you didn't ask for it." I always ask for my sandwiches toasted since my kids are little and it hurts their stomach when they're not toasted. Ultimately, he made me pay another $37 dollars. I spent $74 dollars today at Jersey Mikes and left the cold sandwiches at the counter after telling the gentleman I wouldn't be taking the cold sandwiches. All because an employee couldn't admit they forgot to jot down a key part of the order over the phone. read more

Some guy with glasses at the location turned off grills at 8pm then asked if I wanted a cold sub then made my sandwich medium well not cooked then complained and slammed todos around max I asked for a refund didn't want to even remake order I'm upset , and I deserve a free meal unacceptable whoever this kid is at this location read more

Ordered for pick up and was told they didn't have my order until I showed him my pre order, to which he responded, I have no bread and walked away. I asked another employee if all bread was out to which he said yes. There were several customers that left, but unfortunately I.l couldn't as my husband placed the order and was at work and unavailable to ask what else he may have wanted. I waited for the bread to be done (45 mins) after order should have been done. When I received my order I was asked if I wanted a bag. To which I responded yes,please. 0 stars....went in for a sandwich that cost $18.27 and asked for it to be cut in half because I was sharing it with another person. The young man behind the counter seemed very excited that I asked for my sandwich to be cut in half and promptly cut in 1/3 and 2/3 pieces and then looked at me for my reaction. I said "that's not cut in half...not even close! His response was "I wasn't very good at math in school". I responded I guess you weren't and left. Food is usually consistently good but the place is always dirty. All 5 tables were dirty when we walked in, mind you we were the only customers. Front doors have never been clean when we walk in, that in itself tells you their lack of cleanliness. Lack of Cleanliness tells me there is lack of food and glove hygiene. Gloves should be changed out more often as the employees are wearing them to answer the phone, adjust their hats and handle the register. A little training would go a long way. Management is not setting the expectations and definitely not following through with them. Also never seen a manager in this location. read more

Picked up dinner for my wife from Squid Ink. Decided to stop in Jersey Mikes to pick up a sandwich for myself. Only one customer in the building with 3-4 workers and I was told it would be 15 mins. I asked why so long and they told me they had online orders they had to handle? I asked for manager name and # and was told they are not allowed to give that information out? 3rd time I have had a bad experience here - 2 previous times out of what we wanted. read more

Ordered online 2 subs and they completely blew one of them. Tried calling for an hour to get them to fix it. When the sandwiches were picked up the employees were playing around and it looked like a friend of one of theirs was just allowed to go in the back and do whatever they felt. These sandwiches remind me of the ones at the Italian deli by my house growing up-especially Mike's Way. The workers on the assembly line are working hard and doing their best. Our wait time while standing in line to order in person has expanded and today with 17 people in line we were completely still and later moving gradually while the phone orders took precedence over us. It would be better to call an order in than be at the end of a lengthy slow moving line. I used to love ordering and watching as my sandwich was put together but I will not go through this again anymore near lunchtime. Wanted to stop for a quick bite on my way out on vacation. Being from NJ, this is a typical sub, although extremely expensive, but ok.. Went in and purchased $45 worth of subs, after getting to the end of the line, told them wanted it "Mike's Way", for those of you who don't know, it's parsley, salt, pepper and oil and vinegar. At least I know I'm not crazy after reading all the other comments on here! We had an issue where a Giant Tuna was purchased and got home to find that there was basically*NO* Tuna on the sandwich. It was all lettuce and such. Called, spoke with someone who said they'll put our name in the "book" and give a replacement sandwich. My father goes back to get said replacement, and the kids there had no idea about a "book" and there was no mgr on duty. The employees were rude and he paid for a second giant sandwich. Mind you, my father is going through hell and my mom is currently dying. All they wanted was the simple pleasure of a Tuna sub. After repeated attempts to reach out to Jersey Mike's and get our message to the franchise owner, we've heard nothing and haven't been contacted. Don't waste your time & head over to the Bell Road location. Called to place our order as the app doesn't allow for coupons & we had a BOGO to use. Gal was friendly but a little confused. Placed the order & hubby ran to pick up. Got home & his Italian looked like crap. NO LETTUCE, TOMATO, NO ONION, WT?!?!?!? Bread looked weak for the rosemary & parmesan. My sammie was fine but nothing in comparison to the Bell Road team. Get your act together! Sandwiches were terrible tasting and it took almost an hour for delivery. Definitely time to find a new sub sandwich place.

So this is my 3rd time to this Jersey Mike's location and again disappointed. The first time I went they were out of steak. The 2nd time we came to the this establishment I left because the two people behind the counter making the subs acted like I kicked their dog and was frustrated because I got there at 8:40 PM which I work till 8 PM. & tonight I came to get a sub try them for 1 more time and they are out of sub rolls!!!!!! Seriously the worst location! I don't usually leave reviews, but 3 times no bread!! It's messy all the time, I don't understand why this location is so bad. I ordered extra bacon on 2 of our sandwiches. When my son grabbed the sandwiches the staff told him they ran out of bacon. Mind you I pre-ordered and paid for extra bacon. I emailed Jersey Mike's main office. It took them 4 days to respond. They told me they reached out to the franchise owner asking him to contact me. I emailed the main office twice as I never heard from the owner. The main office provided points which would total one free sandwich which I appreciate. I agree with one of the folks Mr M's review that the franchise owner needs to be involved!! read more

I went to our newly opened Jersey Mike's last night. I was hot. I was hungry. Hubby was traveling for work. The crew was awesome. All very friendly and eager to assist me. My subs could be served in a roll, a wrap or as a salad for those who are cutting carbs. I ordered a Philly cheese steak and Philly chicken. I requested to have the peppers and onions diced small and to add some lettuce and mayo inside the wheat wrap. I was offered a drink while I waited and happliy accepted it. My subs were full of meat, prepared as requested, hot and oh so yummy. Look at the picture!!! I couldn't stop eating until they were both in my stomach. Yes, I overindulged but I was full and happy the rest of the evening. I would have given 5 but the dining room needed a little cleaning up. I shall return and you should go. Awful.. absolutely worst sandwich experience of my life and have been paying for it with food poisoning for the last 16 hours. I Ran in to grab 2 subs after a busy day, one for my son, one for me. I got the turkey.. It tasted off.. but was so hungry.. I ate it.. after the 2 inches of sandwich.. something definitely was not right. Opened it and smelled.. Did not taste well at all.. And then there on the other side i did not touch was a hair. Asked my son how his was and he said.. tastes a lil weird too. We have both been purging from both ends. I have called the store to try to let them know.. no one answers.. it just rings and goes after about 30 rings to a message that says out of memory. I knew when I walked in to the franchise it smelled a bit off. Something was definitely like rancid.. but then there was an overpowering smell of disinfectant spray as well.. and the work stations were not cleanly.. there were peices of bread just thrown and the whole place is ran by what seems like teen boys on summer break..goofing off.. Jersey Mike's in North Peoria: I myself worked in a sub shop for 6 years and I understand what stress lunch rushes cause, but you really have to watch these guys to be sure your order is like you requested. This time (today) was one of few times something has not been wrong with our order. My whole family started going here over subway maybe a year ago. We generally don't eat out, but this is one of few healthy places we go to on special occasions. Wish I could give it 5 stars, but if I'm not there to hover or stop them if they blatantly make our order wrong we get disappointed a lot. It's a bummer as when done right, Jersey Mike's subs are my favorite second to Cousin's Subs in Milwaukee, WI. Either way, we stopped getting delivery orders due to this, as at least one sub in my family was literally always incorrect. Going in and watching them, making sure to stop them from doing it Mike's way (as we always ask "not Mike's way please" at the start), if they start helps. It also helps to be sure the right veggies you ask for (or don't) are included (or not). Being sure the bread isn't taken from the rock hard "hot subs" bread as well is important. I had a turkey sandwich recently where the bread was so hard I could only eat the meat and veggies. They were skeptical when I called and wanted me to come in as they "can't just replace everything". We ordered take out as we had a time pinch, so obviously that wasn't going to be able to happen. I should mention, it was only one sub out of the whole order though that was bad! Everything else was correct (which I did say first, I was sure to lead with a compliment so as to not sound like a cranky customer). I called in the morning and the manager offered to replace it and was much kinder and less condescending than the employees the night before. Another time an employee was getting the top of the bread for my Dad's tuna sub. He dropped the top of my Dad's bread into a cambro of oil. The bread was literally saturated half way in oil and yellow from it. I asked, "I'm so sorry, but could you replace that bread, my Dad doesn't like any oil on his tuna". I said it kindly and the guy rolled his eyes at me. Either way, as I mentioned, I used to work at a sub shop. Had I done that, regardless how busy we were, I would've replaced it w/o the customer having to ask. I do agree with a lot of these reviews. Many of the employees at this location are quite condescending and rude. They also don't take care to follow instructions. Due to this alone, I give it a 2/5. Final Note: Been going here pre covid and during the pandemic as well. Of the 3-5 people on staff when ever I go; all but one wear a mask that only cover their mouth with nose sticking out, often leaning in toward sandwiches while making them. I can't believe only one person wears their mask right. Even department store employees wear masks properly in this area and they are not working directly with food. Other locations I've been to in Glendale during the pandemic wear masks correctly to stop the transmission of disease. Also, other locations of Jersey Mikes enforce distancing while eating or standing in line, not this one. Kind of a bummer. Why wear the mask if you're not going to wear it properly? read more

Some other guy with very long brown hair said he was the manager. The customer said that what just happened was very unprofessional. The "manager" responded "I don't care." I love Jersey Mikes, but not this location. One time this location charged my card 3 times. For the same order. When I called, the woman said to take it up with my bank. There has been at least 3 times we have to take off half the bread because it's too hard to eat. I feel like the bread is super thin compared to the size of other locations. I ordered on JM website because they offered free Doordash delivery. Long story short, after 3 hours I called this location. Because our food was delivered, but to the other side of town. The guy who picked up the phone apologized and said I could come in and pick up a duplicate order. Then a lady in the background cuts him off and said no I couldn't. After talking to Doordash, they said they can't do anything since I ordered through JM website. The next day I went in to the store. I told the lady at the register what happened and she gave me attitude saying it wasn't her fault cause she didn't work yesterday. I'm not saying it's your fault. But I'm out 40 dollars, and I have no sandwiches. She went to the lady at the grill (later found out this is the lady that told the guy not to remake my sandwices). And she looked over and asked if I was Brandy, I said I was. She huffed and said- well, I dont know what you want me to do. I guess I could re make the sandwiches but that's your only option... Umm.. not sure why you are giving me attitude. All you had to do was remake the sandwiches and everything would have been fine. The delivery dot shows its on the other side of town. In the notes I tell the driver my cross streets. I didnt get the subs I paid for. Why should I be out 40 dollars? In the end, she remade the sandwiches. read more

I've never had such consistent bad experiences with a restaurant. I gave them 3 chances and each time (including today) the staff was rude and show zero signs of customer experience skills. Sealing the deal that I will not return in the future. The food itself is what you expect from any other Jersey Mike's. But that cannot compare to how they decide to interact with customers.
