This Jersey Mike's location desperately needs management that takes cleanliness and proper food handling seriously. Unfortunately, this is the second time I've witnessed extremely concerning food-handling practices here. During my most recent visit, I watched an employee prepare sandwiches while wearing the same gloves she had used to wipe down dirty counters, operate the register, and wipe her hands on her apron. She then continued handling customers' food without changing her gloves. The deli slicer and surrounding food-prep area also appeared dirty. About a year ago, I had another disturbing experience at this same location. I witnessed an employee eating meat directly from the grill area with his hands and then using those same unwashed hands to prepare a customer's sandwich. I had hoped things would improve, but unfortunately, it appears not much has changed. The restaurant itself does not appear clean, and the food-handling practices I witnessed are simply unacceptable. I've visited several other Jersey Mike's locations where employees are noticeably careful about cleanliness, changing gloves, and proper food handling, so I know this is not representative of the entire company. This particular location needs stronger management, better training, and much closer attention to basic food-safety practices. read more

We found a hair in our sandwich(looks like a beard hair.) when we called the store whoever answered the phone said they can refund us. We still haven't gotten the refund so we called again today and the store manager Eric, said he can't do anything about it and that the other person never told him about it. HEALTH CONCERN: don't eat here. Honestly, my sandwich was tasty and good. However when walking into the store, nobody greets you and it smells like sewer. I walked in and immediately was like ewww. That should've been my first clue now to eat here. While making my sandwich one of the employees takes a dirty wet rag and wipes the counters down to "clean" the surface of the condiments section. Then with the same gloves that she was touching that gross rag she used to touch my food. I am not the type to say anything but I'm glad I did because that was disgusting. I honestly should've just walked out after seeing that. However I asked for new one and they obliged but still, I just feel grossed out thinking about what goes unnoticed. Food - compared to others the sandwiches are average. They are lean and stuffed with more filler than meat. Not much variety on bread. L just an average at that sandwich l. Sandwiches are fresh and the filler produce aren't wilted or unripe. Service - again just average. Not much personality when taking order. How to lose long time customers.... We have been longtime customers of Jersey Mike's as our previous local store in Covington WA always did a great job. This location proved that all locations are not created equally. We stopped in for some late lunch around 1:30 today (1/29/2023), the team of 4 working behind the counter was working on filling an order for the customer in front of us, and as they completed her order they asked what we would like, and then proceeded to work on 4 online orders with 11 sandwiches before starting our order. No mention from the team that "hey while you stand there waiting we are going to prep all other orders that come in first". As we were waiting, 8 people stood in line together watching them make these other orders. A couple of people made comments and left, but that did not deter the staff from keeping the customers in front of them waiting. To top that off, the young lady asked what we wanted on our two sandwiches only to prove that she was not listening by adding non requested items such as oil to my wife's, lettuce to mine, and then failed to remember that the club comes with bacon. Needless to say, this is not the experience we have had from other locations in the past, but it his was enough that we will not be returning to this location. Guess we will be letting our Shore Points expire as it is not worth the poor service. read more

Why pre-order when it takes longer than just walking in?? I used the app to order my sandwich and was given a time for pick-up about 20-minutes after my order. It was a hot sandwich so I walked in about 5 min early to make sure it wasn't sitting waiting for me. Then I waited ANOTHER 20-minutes ant watched about a dozen people walk order and leave while I waited for my sandwich being told several times "were working on that now." When I finally got my order, almost 40 min after ordering it, it was wrong and they actually argued with me saying it wasn't. I had them read me the ticket before they admitted it was wrong. Manager is an absolute asshole and is so unwilling to compromise. However there was one blonde (long hair thin gal) that had NO smile & clearly No customer service whatsoever she was flat out NOT enjoying her job...she didn't ask for my number for rewards like they always do, so when I told her I'd like to add my number she rudely said "type it in" & turned around then proceeded to go to the back leaving me standing there...while she filled condiment area. I love JM's but this location sucks. The kids working here really are as dumb as they look and based on all the reviews I've seen the owners clearly don't care. We go here about once a week and every time something is wrong. I even showed up one evening and they were out of bread. That's a pretty important ingredient in a sandwich. Most of the produce seems fresh, and it's convenient so I'll go back. But damn, society as a whole is on a sharp decline when such a simple business can't be run properly. I love coming here and it's one of my boyfriends and I's favorite sandwich spots. We've come here many times and never had the customer experience we did tonight. We walked in and no one greeted us we waited for them to take our order then he hands our sandwiches over to the other person to make them and he doesn't ask what we want on them or anything he just starts making them then proceeds to start wrapping them up we politely told him we wanted to add more on to it and he blankly stared at us like what we we're asking for was an inconvenience. After we had told him what we liked he stared at us again and said our total to us and my boyfriend went to pull out his card and pay and he started to walk away leaving our sandwiches behind the register, we grabbed them and walked out.
