This place is quickly becoming a regular dinner stop. I like them more than Subway, which is closer to my house. The sandwiches here are not as much "filler" as they are meat/cheese/main ingredients. My regular orders are BLTs and the original Italian sub. I like them so much I haven't really deviated from those orders, but I know I eventually would like to try EVERYTHING on the menu. Do not place an online order with this location. I waited 25 minutes after the pickup time expired. I got home and my order was incorrect! When I drove up no customers were present, so I thought okay I might actually get my order in time (I have waited in the past before)... nope. Do better. Jersey Mike's subs is a chain that specializes in, you guessed it, subway sandwiches. So like Subway, you go and pick your type of sub, type of bread, and then the toppings. You can choose from mini, regular, and giant. The regular is about 7 inches. I got a regular meal which includes a drink and chips and it came out to $15.46. I ate it all to be full so it's a bit expensive for a chain place. Even though I had it Mike's Way (which adds wine, oil, tomatoes, onions, mayo, and lettuce), I felt that the sub was lacking in any meaningful flavor. This store is understaffed. Any time we order, there is a delay. We placed an order for delivery an hour ago, and our driver is still currently waiting for them to finish making the food. Should it take this long to fulfill an order for a couple sandwiches? We typically order and pick up at 7th Ave location for pickup, but choosing delivery defaulted this location. It pains me to have to give them a bad review, but I am so sick of the bull crap from this location, I love Jersey Mike's, have been a loyal customer for years. For some reason this location is so inefficient and always screws something up. We order on their app for lunch. Every time we go to pick it up, it is never ready! We give them extra time beyond their "estimated p/U time"....Go in there, and they haven't even started making it yet. What is the point of doing it online, it would be faster to just go in and get in line. The sandwiches are really inconsistent. Some days they are fat and robust, other days they are skimpy. They often forget something like one day I had no mustard and had to put my own on from home. A few weeks ago they gave me the wrong order....i tried to save myself the return and took a bite of the sandwich I got home to see if I liked it. I didn't so I drove back up there to return it. The girl tried to tell me they couldn't correct the issue because I took a bite of it- so I put up a fuss and they eventually corrected it...But such a pain in the ass I am constantly unhappy with one element or another. Stopped by today (08/03/2025) around 7:26, i saw that there were three workers and the last person had received their food. I waited quietly to be attended or at least let know that i was visible to them. Nothing happened. I've been a Subway repeat-offender for waaaaay to long. Avoided most other sandwich shops in all honesty. Wow - talk about missing out - but then, that's why most of us are here - to seek out new life forms and boldly go where..... I mean, to seek out new places to EAT, and boldly go where other reviewers are yet to tread. Jersey Mikes at the NEC of 19th Ave and Bethany sure beamed me up. Everything you can order is fresh. Soooooper fresh. Meat and cheese sliced right in front of you. I can tell you, I was insta-charmed at how wonderful the food, decor and 'quite splendid' customer service was. I was so taken aback, I even agreed to have my sub made 'Mikes Way' - imagine my 'almost' disgust at seeing someone shake vinegar on my sub. But then, imagine it again when I take a bite and taste the seasoning sensation that just had a dance party in my mouth. Honestly, I felt a bit stupid for avoiding. Fun fact. Jersey Mikes is in the Top 7 places Americans get their lunch / fast food. I'm glad I read the article, because it provided the impetus for me to finally step over the threshold. Look, I don't usually review big chain businesses. I prefer to highlight local and family run spots, but I go to this location fairly regularly and wanted to be sure to give them the recognition they deserve. They provide great service and are always hustling. Having to deal with the day to day lunch rush and the constant drudgery work of customer service that comes with it, and getting paid minimum wage, they've always been friendly and accommodating, even to those customers whose own actions don't reflect the same level of respect. Avoid this location! What a mess! It used to be nice. Now it's a smelly rathole. Bums are sleeping inside at several tables. It smells horrid. They were stealing pick up orders right off the rack. I've made a handful of visits to this location given my buddy recently moved into this neighborhood (not to far my from house either). I'm all about a sandwich as a "go-to" when you're in the mood for something punchy, fresh and satisfying. During my recent visits here I've ordered the CA club sub (giant) on parm crusted bread and the #2 sub Jersey shore(reg) on white bread. To wrap them up I always go with "Mike's way" as that just perfectly rounds out the sandwich. The ingredients and quality is consistently top tier. They have a good selection of chips to chose from as well as some tasty chocolate chip cookies. The pricing compared to what you get is within par of similar sandwich shops. The service has been very polite and pleasant. Kudos to this team. read more
