Best subs around, hands down. I always try different sub places, haven't found one yet that beats Jersey Mikes.

Manager is so lazy, as I am checking out (giving them a $4 tip) he says "hey can you reach over and hand me a raspberry tea out of that cooler" for his online order that was more important obviously. Ordered a Philly cheesesteak, the sandwich was so bare minimal with cold whole cheese slices still in the sandwich. That cheese should be melted through out the meat. Was never asked if i wanted anything on my sandwich. Quickly handed it to me as I was cashing out, which they rushed me to do. So I sit down and realize they never asked what I wanted, well I wanted a slice or two of bacon. I ask that same manger, hey since I did you a favor can you do me one and get me a couple slices of bacon for my sandwich. No one asked what I wanted on it. He says "yeah you'll have to pay I can't do that" should have told him I couldn't grab that raspberry tea. Well Mr. manager, what goes around comes around, I hope you have a shi**y day and again when you read this. His attitude shows amongst the employees in there. All very miserable. rush you through like cattle. do not ask if you want a whole or half or whatever. YOu say tuna, okay. they give you whatever. No questions. You get to the counter with half of what you need.. then ask for a tip! ugh. get real.! read more

I go to Jersey Mikes at least once a month if not more. Today I went and ordered a sandwich on line through the app, asking for light oil , extra cheese, and extra meat. The app told me 18 minutes. I waited about 20 minutes and headed over ( I'm 5 minutes away). I get there and the sandwich wasn't ready yet an older man was in the process of making it. You could see him struggling to fix up the sandwich where he really laid on the oil; and then he scraped up cherry peppers that he dropped onto the sandwich board and reapplied to the sandwich. Then he went on to another sandwich which the customer said no mayo and he had already put mayo on it only to remove the mayo and continued to make the sandwich, which clearly still had mayo on it. I finally had to ask them for my sandwich or I would still be waiting. Oh and there was no extra cheese on it. read more

So my parents came in @8:30 Tuesday the 13th and was wanting to order a sub all the lights were off and the refused service then they go back out to the car another customer comes in a few minutes later all lights were turned on and they helped the customer. read more

I placed an order on GrubHub and I had to call just to make a quick change that you couldn't make online. Nobody answered the phone. I tried three times and it just rang and rang and rang and nobody answered it. If you don't have enough staff to even answer a telephone then you're doing it wrong. The store manager needs to train their people, and corporate needs to hire more staff or train to see if they currently have for better efficiency. This would have been a 5-second phone call but they couldn't bother to pick it up. read more

Jersey Mike's has brought a glimpse of why the subs in New Jersey are the best in this country. Jersey Mike's slices the meat and cheese fresh for every sandwich and that definitely makes a difference. My go to dubs are the Italian sub for a cold sub and the Big Kahuna (a cheesesteak) for a hot sub. Honestly. You can't go wrong with either sub or any of their subs really. The service is good and friendly and, as I stated, the subs are good. Let me be clear, Jersey Mike's are not the best subs in Jersey, but they are bringing a better product than most of the other subs in the rest of the country. read more

Unfortunately, they made my sub wrong initially when I did an in-store pick up. They put bacon on my turkey I called and spoke to a gentleman who answered the phone he offered a remake which I appreciate. I came in today and informed them of my remake. "Big mistake" I should have told them at the register after my sub was made." I came in today to get my free remake and the girl who was at the meat slicer was very skimpy on the turkey. Usually we are always on the lookout to support local momma and poppa stores. We are looking for the best sandwich around but all three that we wanted to go to are closed on Sunday or closing soon in 1/2 hour. So Jersey Mike's sub came up. We ordered a giant "the big Kahuna". The sandwich came out pipping hot. The meat was thinly sliced and it was a tad dry however it was packed in sub. The american cheese was salty in taste but that's the nature of the cheese. Wonderfully mediocre sub - "The Italian", and absolutely sad service. The young man slicing meats knew all aspects of the business, greeted everyone, worked rapidly and deserves kudos. The lad adding ingredients was incapable of multitasking and therefore delayed completing my sandwich until starting 3 other sandwiches of the people in line behind me. A young lady was enjoying her break when the shop got busy and sauntered over to the register but did not take my money: That was done by the non multitasking lad. I'm not a fan of compulsory tips and these guys have a tip option ON THE CREDIT CARD MACHINE. Cheesus!! The price for a whole Italian sub was 14 bucks in change before the government's cut and jumped to 17 bucks by the time I added a 15% tip. Jersey Mike's has always been fantastic, but the one thing that ruined it today was the employee with the dyed red hair with a real bad attitude. When a customer says they can't hear because of the plexiglass that is above eye level and the level of noise in the place, there is no need to YELL at the customer and then cop an attitude when the customer tells them not to yell. She was slamming the spice shakers down, the container with the vinaigrette down, while glaring at me. I will never go into the Port Charlotte Jersey Mikes again. Terrible first-time experience with Jersey Mike's in Port Charlotte. Example after example of total indifference to a customer, from employees at the store and up to corporate. I wanted to try one of their subs, I'd seen them in ads. This was at the beginning of the lockdown for COVID, and we were supposed to limit all activities. We weren't supposed to enter restaurants. There was a promo for BOGO, so I thought I'd give it a shot. I wanted to order online and pickup at the curbside. I spent a long time online trying to decide what I'd have for my first sub, and how I would like it prepared. At the end, I filled out the order, entering my credit card information. Received error message that online ordering was temporarily suspended. So I downloaded the app, and did the same thing, going through the whole process, including entering my credit card info. Received error message that ordering through the app was temporarily suspended. So I call the store here in Port Charlotte. No answer, repeatedly (except when I got a busy signal). Strike Three. I gave up. One week later, I happened to be looking at my bank statement, and saw two charges from Jersey Mike's. They charged me for the orders I was never able to place. I call the store. Of course, there is no answer. Went online, called customer service number. Left message, no reply. Wrote a message through customer service, no reply. After a few days, customer service called me. I explained what happened, and they told me I could only get the refund from the store. So I get in my car and take the trip to the store. I had to enter, against state COVID guidance. Spoke to an employee, who told me I had to talk to the manager. She wasn't there, so they gave me her card. Also told them I had called them many times, but received no answer. They said they always answer their phone. So I get in contact with the manager, who tells me only corporate/customer service could help me. In other words, no one at Jersey Mike's could help me. Or showed any desire to. So I had to call my bank to dispute the charges. They credited me, but had to cancel my credit card. Which was a major pain, because I kept getting notices from companies telling me they could not process my payments. After a while, they send me a gift card for $10. Mind you, I had spend many hours trying to place orders, contacting customer service repeatedly, going to the store to try and talk to someone, cancelling my credit card, straightening out accounts and purchases on that card ... and they send me a $10 gift card. That amounted to paying me less than $2/hour for my troubles. Well, it was something. But the story doesn't end there. We still weren't supposed to enter stores, so I attempt to use the gift card with an online order, and am informed that orders using gift cards cannot be placed online. I call them. No answer, of course. So I write out my order, which was a fairly simple one. A Canco in a Tub, extra tomatoes. And I make another trip to the store, going inside to order a sub (I didn't want to enter the store; remember we are in the middle of a pandemic). I go sit outside, right in front of the glass door to wait for my sub. Finally, after waiting around 20 minutes, and watching others go in and out, I went inside the store to see if there was a problem with my order. A single sub, extra tomatoes. They told me it had been ready for a while (and had been just sitting on the counter). They told me "they couldn't bring it out to me". I was sitting right in front of their glass door, in full view, waiting 20 minutes, and they couldn't somehow tell me my order was ready??? Like maybe crack open the door a bit and let me know? They wanted me to go into their store AGAIN? Remember we weren't supposed to enter restaurants? And this is the third time I had to enter just to end up with one sub. I'm not "reaching out" to anyone else associated with this business. I have given them many chances, and have been repeatedly disappointed. read more

Each time I go, I'm always happy. I'm picky about how I get my sub. I always call ahead. They all know me and treat me like I'm a rock star! Young staff, but friendly and caring. Also they have a sense of humor. Giant #13. Extra veggies. Dry except for Mike's Way spices. Vinegar only, and on the side. It's always perfect!! They even double wrap the vinegar cups. I'm used to teens treating customers like crap. Not here. I usually see the same three or four employees. They're always working. The place is well kept. And I feel like they're glad to see me. Is it a bit pricey for a sub? Maybe. But I'll gladly pay it-and tip-because it's so worth it to feel welcome and not have to check to see if it's right. I love the staff. I love the food. I also love the cookies but, gotta stay away from those! My only recommendation would be to offer sides of slaw, potato salad, or macaroni salad. One stop dinner read more

Had heard about this place for awhile and I finally got there. So glad I did. I will never step foot in a Subway again. Everything tastes fresh and they don't skimp on anything. 1st timer here. They are just coming to MA and I have been dying to try one and fou d this store here in FL. Nice employee waited on me. Got the medium for almost $10 and was shocked at the small size it was. Sub was delicious but very disapointed at the value. Publix give you a large for a few dollars less so ill stick with Publix. read more
