Well guy today was super rude got lippy with me over avocado spread. I asked for more so he put more "brown" avocado spread on my sandwich. Tuff place to park and no customer satification in mind, not worth the $9 sandwich. Well Jersey Mike's has tasty sandwiches but this location is not meeting the standard. The high school kids running the place arent improving. This location has been open for a few monthes now. How hard is it to use a slicer? Too little meat for the price of the sandwich , one very thin slice of chesse , Bread was stale. Didnt cut sandwich in half. Please please have more training days with this crew! They need a regional manager to work side by side for a few weeks. I live close and like the Jersey Mike's sandwich concept. But this location needs to raise the bar and make improvements or I ll just go to subway. read more

The workers here are always really nice and accommodating to your needs. Their subs are always made super fresh as well! On occasion they are also extremely entertaining so it makes waiting in line not as bad as it could be. No complaints here! read more

Had the Italian done Mike's way- the bread was perfect- the ham and cheese was cut to order and the shredded lettuce was piled on the tower of meats. Definitely a must stop if your looking for a hearty sandwich. The staff was friendly and and even gave me a cookie for being a "first timer". Would definitely come back again! read more

Every time we order sandwiches from here the place is a disaster. It seems to be a "perfect storm" of calamity all the time.

Very disappointed to wait almost 20 minutes before I got my sandwich. Three employees working. Two on the sandwiches, one cleaning tables that were NOT even dirty. That person could have been on the cash register as the line was getting longer. This was at 11:10 on a Wednesday morning. Sandwich was good but managing of the work force leaves a lot to be desired! I would give this location no stars if it were possible. We have been to this location 3 times since we moved here and they have all been less than satisfying. Today we waited for about five minutes without even a hello or any sort of acknowledgment. I believe they were making a large order but they could have at least acknowledge us being there. Absolute worst service I have ever had. I am a vegetarian and bought a veggie sub after seeing on this site that they had vegetarian options. I was three bites into my sandwich when I discovered it had meat in it, despite me telling the employee that I was vegetarian and not to put any meat in it. Always a good eating experience. I like jersey mikes way better than Which Wich or Subway.

It's a sub place just like many others in town. But Jersey Mike's separates itself by loading on the meat. They prepare their sandwiches "Mike's Way" which is just the usual lettuce, tomatoes, onions, with some oil, vinegar, and some spices. But, they do taste very good and they are rather large. This one can get crowded at times, but the staff works efficiently and quickly to get you served. Never had a bad sandwich at Jersey Mikes. read more

Went here yesterday after work for a quick bite. The staff was busy is the back chatting so it was hard to get service. Once I did get their attention I ordered a Cesar wrap to go. The order was completed quickly. The food is great but the service was underwhelming for a new place during the dinner / after work hours. read more

Awful. Where to begin. One of the employees carried onions with her hands (with gloves) not even in a tub. Second, the same employee wanted to make our sandwiches with the onion hands. After she changed her gloves, upon request, she kept putting up her pants with her clean gloves. Third, the ice tea besides being just about out was old. Forth, the rub in front of the drink was soaked in I guess soda, the floor was dangerously wet. Never again. read more

We usually frequent that one in RB, but figured we would try out the new one in Poway, as it is closer to us. Big mistake. Wasn't even a peak time and we phoned our order in (like always)...there is no phone order line, so you have to wait with everyone else. Then they told us to "make our way to the front" to pay...uh yeah, we received tons of dirty looks and comments...understandably so! We are avid Jersey Mike's sandwich eaters. Today was the best #99 ever. Staff was friendly and all 3 sandwiches were great.

For the second time our on-line order was not ready when we arrived at the specified time. We waited patiently as they just began to make our 3 sandwiches. When they were finally ready I asked (nicely) what the reason was for the delay. I was told they didn't have enough people making sandwiches. Basically they took people in line over an on-line order. So "cutting the line" didn't really have any benefit. I mentioned that this was the 2nd time this had happened to us and that we would not be returning to this location. I was speaking to the girl on duty. All of a sudden the young man making sandwiches rudely asked me my name. I told him and asked him his. He smirked and ignored me. I asked him again and he said "doesn't matter, you're not coming back here". He continued to act like I was a criminal or something, laughing at me trying to find out his name. I asked the girl on duty his name, she laughed and wouldn't tell me either. I did ask for the manager, she was not on duty but I was told her name was Melissa. My husband (when this same thing happened to him) called the manager, left message, also wrote in. He rec'd no response, no apology. I'm expecting that same outcome. But knowing customer service "ethics", I'm hoping for a response. I only wanted it to be known that if you are going to promise on-line orders at a certain time, meet that standard of service....or allow for more time. To top it off, 2 of our sandwiches were not made correctly. One did not have extra meat, the other didn't have bacon or fresh avocado. I am livid. My 16 year old son was so upset that that young "kid" spoke to his mother the way he did. So inappropriate. So no, I will not be returning to the Poway, Ca. Pomerado Rd location ever again. And I will spread the word. Don't expect much from this location, it's record is speaking for itself. Poor service, rude employee(s). Thumbs down. read more

I was sent on an errand a few weeks ago for my 21-year-old son who wasn't feeling well. He frequents this Jersey Mike's on Pomerado Road in Poway and informed me that a sure way to revive him was to pick up his favorite sub there. He gave me his order, and although I was a bit confused with all the details to the sandwich, I trekked out to the location on Pomerado Road in Poway which he insisted was the best one in town. I walked in, a bit dazed and confused by the varied menu choices. That's when I was greeted by Melissa, the store manager, who was immediately friendly and helpful. I proceeded with the order, grappling my way through the specifics of the order, and I mentioned that my son always visits there but he wasn't feeling well. I continued to struggle with the order, not too sure of what I was doing. Melissa was continually talkative and friendly while at the same time being proficient in the many orders she was preparing all at the same time! Melissa could sense my confusion and hesitancy with what I was doing. She asked, "Who's your son?" I said his name and she and all the staff knew who he was, and exactly what type of sub he ordered! She saved me! I was amazed at her expertise at preparation of the sandwich, retention of what was being ordered, and her swiftness at the preparation! Her entire staff was efficiently run and well managed. On top of this, I returned two days later to repeat the order, this time completely confident in myself with what I was doing. I intended to bring home the same sandwich for my husband as well. When I walked in the door, I was happy and relieved to see Melissa again taking the bulk of the orders before me. My turn came, she remembered me, I proceeded to order two number 6's while Melissa chatted friendly with me. Not far along Melissa asked me, "Is this for your son again?" I replied yes, and she said "Well he always gets the number 9." I was completely baffled with myself and soooo appreciative that Melissa saved me a second time! Thanks to her and the incredible staff there, I was able to successfully complete my order again. No wonder my son has over 1500 points with Jersey Mike's! This particular location comes highly recommended by a mother in need! My son says it's the best one in town and they make the subs perfectly!
