Store was not clean and the bathroom was filthy. Looked like it hadn't been clean in days. The people that worked there had their masks under their chin until I opened the door. I just got off my long shift from the hospital just wanted to grab some dinner and go home but the woman that was there acted like she'd rather be anywhere but there and raised her voice at me when I repeated my order. I'm not sure why I haven't visited this place earlier, but I'm glad I finally got around to it. Due to its similarity to Jimmy John's, there's inevitably going to be a lot of comparisons. Unlike the Jimmy John's interior, which tries too hard to be hip and unique, the walls here are not adorned with quirky commentary. The ceilings are high and the lights are bright. There's some white wainscoting and some natural wood paneling. There's some large prints of the Jersey shore on the walls. It's a pretty laid back place. For around the same price as a Jimmy John's sandwich, the Jersey Mike's regular sub is much larger. The amount of meat used was also very generous, which is becoming quite rare for sub shops. Another surprise was that the meats and cheese were cut to order, which made the sandwich seem somewhat fresher. The bread is very nice and chewy like you'll find at Jimmy John's and Great Outdoors, and it's pretty hard to screw up deli meats and vegetables, so all of that was good as well. Also, this restaurant serves Pepsi instead of Coca-Cola, which is always a plus. Jersey Mike's definitely makes Jimmy John's an irrelevant place to eat at unless you want something fast. read more

Terrible food and absolutely the rudest, most unfriendly staff you could imagine! Sandwiches were dry and tasteless. I don't even know how that is possible but it was. No flavor at all. Service was slow and all of the staff didn't look at you and seemed to be very disgruntled. They all seemed to be going out of their way to make sure we knew they were not happy. It was disgusting and just plain rude. No redeeming qualities here. Bad food and horrible service. First time we went we thought it was just an off day. Only one guy appeared to be making sandwiches though three were behind the line? Had to wait a few with only one guy ahead of me.. no biggie. I guess my takeaway was to NOT allow their olive oil drizzle on my tuna sandwich next time... the thing was literally a lapful of soggy MESS when I got to eat it about 20 minutes later, either the tuna salad had LITE mayo (which is watered down regular mayo) or the extra oil did the bread in. I love this place, atmosphere, food,people. I've been going to Jersey Mike's for year's and so has my kiddo. The guys know my order including my 3 yr old daughter and always ask if I want to try something else before making my sub. This place seems pricey but you get some much food, it's crazy. They do have a rewards program that you can ask for and when you buy 12 subs the next one is free. It's a wonderful place to go and eat with friends and family, kick back relax and have a good time. read more

My coworkers & I have been eating lunch here weekly for several years. Today we watched the guy at the meat slicer make the cuts noticeably thinner. The finished product was a big sub roll with slivers of meat. We all had different sandwiches, & they each were equally disappointing. I like Jersey Mikes a lot, they fill me up with lots of delicious cured pork products. Sandwiches are Better than Subway and Quiznos. Main focus is on Italian subs, so expect lots of delicious cured meats like salami and capicola. Not a huge selection of sammies or toppings, but they do slice the meat and cheese fresh to order, which IMHO makes such a difference. They tend to go really heavy on the lettuce if you order it "Mikes Way" I ordered mine that way one time and I will never do it again. I swear there was damn near a pound of lettuce on my sandwich. I'm not really a fan of salad so I dumped the lettuce off. I came n again and order it Mikes Way but sans the lettuce, perfection! Did I mention I love their rosemary bread? read more

Jersey Mike's is the tops when it comes to your chain sandwich shops. They have fresh sliced meats, they give you tons of toppings, and they are charitable too. Here's why they beat the pants off Subway, Quizno's, Potbelly and Jimmy John's (the most OVERRATED sandwich place in existence): Food: Like I said, they slice the meats right there for you. Not that I really care all that much, but it's kind of cool to see that huge saw cut paper-thin slices of whichever meat and cheese combination you choose. I've tried several of their subs and would say the the #2 is the best (provolone, ham and cappacuolo). As for the toppings, you won't find the scrawny "sandwich artist" who takes a half handful of lettuce, shakes half of that back into the tub, and puts the remaining quarter handful on a combination of your sandwich and the cutting board. At Jersey Mike's they give you two HUGE hands full of lettuce, tons of tomatoes and a generous proportion of whatever else you want on there. If you're taking yours to-go and you get it "Mike's Way", tell them to go a little easy on the oil and vinegar, otherwise your sandwich can get pretty soggy if it sits too long, I'm telling you, these guys aren't shy with the toppings. Service/Atmosphere: The wallpaper gives a Jersey Shore beach vibe, without all the Guidos/ettes, abs and boobs. The service has always been great whenever I've gone, no complaints there. They also occasionally have charity days where you can get a free sub for making a donation to a local charity ($1). Talk about a win-win! Price: There are three different sizes of subs you can get: small, regular and large. The small is about the size of a 6" at subway, good for a small appetite. They run about $4. The mediums, good for just about anybody, are about $5-$7. And the larges, ideal for those who are incredibly hungry and intestinally stoic, runs you about $10. They are little pricier than most places, but I think the quality makes it well worth it. If you enjoy the finer things in life, Jersey Mike's has as fine a sandwich as you'll find. read more

I visited this location, on a Friday night, this was only my second time at a jersey mikes so I wasn't familiar with the menu, so I was taking a while to order. The staff at this location was very helpful and patient with me. I have to say they were the friendliest group of people!!! Although this is not the closest location to me I will for sure visit here again just because of the outstanding customer service!!! Way to go! read more

Great sandwiches! I love that they cut the meats and cheese in front of you, as you order you order your sub. Notice that cheese is singular? That's because provolone is the only cheese they have. Yes, the prices can get up there, but if you're ordering an 18 inch sandwich for just you and loading it up with five kinds of meats and cheeses...what do you expect? I can eat pretty well, and the regular size is usually more than enough for me. The original italian is my favorite. I ordered Jersey Mikes from my online account. I placed an order for a buffalo chicken sandwich on rosemary parm bread. I ordered my friend the buffalo chicken sandwich as well and customized the sandwich to take the blue cheese dressing off (my friend is lactose intolerant). So we get there and the food is ready and we got it to go. We go all the way back to the house and open our sandwiches up and they were completely wrong. I don't even know what I got...it had no lettuce, no tomato, and it was not franks hot sauce, and I also believe it was beef and not chicken. My friend got his sandwich as well and there was lettuce and tomato on it, however they never took the blue cheese dressing off like I requested. So of course both of our sandwiches are wrong, and my friend can't eat his at all. So he goes drives all the way back to Jersey Mikes. He asked the lady 4 times if he could have a refund. The lady refused, and she was like I will just make the order right. Whatever at this point I'm just really hungry. Well they make the food again, and my friend gets home and it is WRONG AGAIN. We are both beyond livid. I got my sandwich back and it had lettuce, tomato, but NO BUFFALO SAUCE OR BLUE CHEESE. My friend's sandwich they remade was wrong as well they didn't put cheese on it, but they didn't put buffalo sauce on it. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? This was ridiculous and we spent $20 to not eat either sandwich because the meat was not cooked right either, it was SO dry, and there was no sauce on it at all. I will never be back again. First of all, I really appreciate the opportunity to write a review and possibly help others with their choice of restaurants. Here we go with my review. Jersey Mikes makes a great tasty sandwich and is very consistent based on whatever location you choose. But this location has been a disaster, at least for me. Half of the experience is SERVICE. I've been to this location a total of 12 times, and they have managed to create my order wrong 10 times out of the 12. It's not management issues, but ownership issues. Jersey Mikes is a franchise and franchisees get things started and then move on. This owner and location needs to move on. Great retail space, but a waste of space for now. Bottom line is, I'm not going there as a result. read more

Went to Jersey Mike's last night with some friends. They had a free concert at that Eastside Centre there behind the restaurant. It was the 1st time I had been in Jersey mikes and the moment I walked in, I could have fainted by the smell of fresh baked bread. It was breathtakingly yummy! Apparently they were so busy that afternoon that they made more in the evening. Slicer guy was real helpful and made some recommendations. I ordered an Italian and did it Mike's Way as the staff recommended it that way. I am not sure what tasted the most fresh.. the bread, the veggies or the meats.. Store was really clean considering they were busy. Just wish they served beer! read more

Wow, this place is incredible. Just moved to Richardson. I am from TN and I dont even think we had a Jersey mikes subs there.. mostly just Lennys. I was blown away at how great this place was and how much my kids loved it. First, it was really clean.. and most of all, we walked through the door we were greeted by the staff and they immediately gave alot of attention to my kids. They asked if we had been there before and we had said no, and they gave us some suggestions. Also, I had told them I thought I had seen something about Jersey Mikes on the Travel Channel and they said, that was us, "featured on Sandwich Paradise" Thought that was cool. My kids got the meatball subs.. only ate the meatballs, and I got a Baja Wrap and my husband got the Turkey on wheat. It was ridiculously fresh and delicious. I would have to say, aside from the food, the best part was what my kids loved. When we told them we were new, the guy slicing the subs, said down to the register.. Hey Eddie, we have some rookies here.. Free cookies for the rookies.. OMG, kids loved it. We sat outside on the patio and they gave the kids some sidewalk chalk and we just hung out there, the kids drew on the sidewalk and it was a blast. Too bad they dont serve beer. I used to frequent Jersey Mikes when I lived in Charlotte, NC and loved the cheesesteaks. I hadn't been in years and noticed this location on my way into Richardson. I strayed from the Big Kahuna and got the Chipotle Cheesesteak with grilled banana peppers and pepper relish. It was better than I remember. So hot and spicy! I'm craving it right now! My husband enjoyed his #13 with mayo only but wished he would have gotten a giant instead of the regular. He's not a "food guy" and tends to eat things very plain. I used to get those kicked up with peppers, relish and oil and vinegar. That sets the fresh sliced meat and cheese off perfectly. My daughter was happy to get salami and cheese with her kids meal rather than the usual turkey or ham. She likes a little spice just like her mama! The service was friendly and fast. I liked that the (I'm assuming) manager stopped by to ask how the sandwiches were. I gave him a thumbs up and an awesome. read more

Great sandwiches. Love both club subs and most of the cold subs. My concern is getting there around 2 and seeing how dirty the store is!! Staff sitting around, floors dirty. I visit Jersey Mike's Richardson at least once every couple of weeks and have never had a bad sub. I particularly love the Italian and the Philly Cheesesteak. In fact, I think the Philly Cheesesteak is absolutely heavenly....actually the best I've ever had! The employees are super friendly and the restaurant is extremely clean. I always receive a warm welcome every time I enter the store. I also love the fact that the owner, Pete, is almost always there helping make the subs himself. It really makes it feel like a Mom and Pop restaurant. Jersey Mike's is far superior than any other sandwich restaurant in our area, and I am constantly recommending it to friends and neighbors...and I strongly recommend it to you!! read more
