Twice in a row, I placed an online order and showed up after the pickup time, only to find the sandwich hadn't even been started. This was when there was just one customer in line, and 2 guys were making sandwiches. It actually takes them 25-30 minutes to make one sandwich. It's like it doesn't matter how long they've had the order; they won't do anything unless you physically stand there and ask them to make your already late order. This makes online orders completely pointless. I will still be a customer, but rotate them in less often, since they don't know how online orders work. read more

I doordashed my order and it was fast but jersey Mike's gave me totally wrong sandwich. I called and he said he was a lead and his name was Alan. He just kept saying bring the sandwich back and we can remake it. If I could drive I wouldn't have used doordash. I am unable to walk right now. Told the lead and he would give boss's information. And would not help me at all. The worst lead they ever hired. I tried the wrong sandwich and it was not to my taste. So im just out around 14.00. We go there all the time. Not now. Let me just start off with.. we avoided Jersey Mike's for about a decade because the one near my old place was awful. I kept hearing a friend rave about how good their subs still were but she also lived in another city. Anyways, today was the first time we gave this franchise another shot so we stopped by this location just out of convenience. I have zero regrets and am so glad we did! I just wanted to give some love to them because it was by far the freshest, most smacking, done-right sub I've had in forever!! I haven't had subs from franchises in years, we've been so spoiled by the delis in LA and I'm so glad we gave them another chance. The guys were all so friendly. The two subs we ordered (turkey and club sub) was banging with flavor and freshness. My hugest and only complaint was at the end: The first guy who takes our order gets our bread and slices the meat places it on the bread. The employee next to him assembles the sub with the vegetables and sauce. BUT the guy who rings us up at the cashier till who is touching money (cash, cards, pressing buttons) with his dirty gloves takes our assembled sub, holding and touching the bread with his dirty gloves, wraps it up and bags it up. People handling payments shouldn't be touching the food. It was gross to see that! Other than that, this place is highly recommended. So I will say first I have only been to one other Jersey Mike's subs, about 3 years ago, which was Watt/FOB and I was NOT impressed at all. My point being I was very skeptical when my buddy suggested Jersey Mike's for lunch today, but at the Arden/FOB location. Now I haven't seen the guy in 10 years and thought I don't want to be a killjoy, so i politely excepted and said to myself, Self "what the hell, different place, might be better" Man was I right this place was A++, Fresh everything made like a real sandwich should be, no Skimpy Bull S**t! Bread was super fresh, I had the rosemary parmesan which was great. Produce was super fresh, I am a stickler about shredded lettuce, and this stuff was nice a cold and crisp. Great portions of meat, and the provolone cheese was good as well. My buddy had the Portobello Mushroom sandwich (Yuk) Lol. But he said it was amazing... Asked very politely for a Tuna sandwich and for my bread to be toasted before they put it all together. I was told that ownership doesn't allow them to do it, and refused to make the sandwich. I have nothing against the kids working there, and respect them for sticking to the "rules" However, Management/franchisee needs to rethink their approach. I was going to put in a catering order for a 100 plus company event tomorrow, but have decided to take my business elsewhere. I'm all about small business, trying the customer right! I really enjoy coming to this establishment because the portions are so big. i Always make my sandwhich giant size so i eat half and save the other half for dinner. don't be discourage when you arrive and there is a 10 people wait. Sandwiches are always great but don't bother ordering ahead. I arrived 5 minutes after the order pickup time said it would be ready and it wasn't ready yet so I waited for 5 minutes. When I asked when it would be ready, they said 5 more minutes. I waited almost 25 minutes for my order whereas everyone who ordered in store got their orders immediately. If I would've known that, I wouldn't have ordered ahead. Defeats the purpose of the convenience of order ahead and sucks that their order pick up times aren't reliable. read more

Customer service is so bad, there is none. I find it amusingly ironic, that the first two words in their description are "swift service" I came here from William B Pond, hungry after a walk along the river, in great spirits. I walked in the door, smiled and said "hello". Each of the three employees working there made eye contact with me. I stood in front of the register, ready to order. Two of the employees were having a conversation with one another while another went and grabbed an onion and began slicing it. I stood here for about three minutes being totally ignored. I thought to myself "okay, maybe there is some sort of protocol they are following". Still jovial, I waited patiently. The employee slicing the onion finally looked up at me and said "are you getting cold or hot?" To which I replied "cold", happy to finally be getting service. She dumped the onion slices in the proper bin (which filled it) and then walks back, gets another onion, and proceeds to slicing a second. This whole time, no eye contact, no explanation, the other two still ignoring me in favor of their personal conversation. So, after about six/seven minutes I finally just begin to walk out. No attitude. No grumpiness. Just happily going somewhere else where customers are appreciated. No one said anything. Not a "sorry". Not a "we'll be right with you". Nothing. So I went next door and got a frozen yogurt, with wonderful customer service. As I ate my frozen yogurt, I went to the Jersey Mike's website and filled out the complaint form to let them know how the store was being run by the employees there because I would want to know if this happened to one of my customers. I left all my contact information, a detailed description and everything they would need That was about a month ago, and I still haven't heard anything from them either. I guess that's where the employees get it from. In summary... If you're also done supporting businesses that don't care about the people. If you would like to get back to a time when business was appreciated and served with honor, integrity, thoughtfulness and a passion to serve the local community with love, do NOT support Jersey Mike's. When I went in, I asked for a number 7 with tomatoes and pickles and they told me they had no tomatoes, so I was like "can I have a piece of bacon instead" and they said sure but I will charge you and I said "no, you shouldn't charge me because I am replacing the tomatoes so , they didn't charge me. So then I asked for a drink and they said that I couldn't have a fountain drink because they didn't have carbonation so i asked for instead of a fountain drink a bottled drink with the chips and they said no it isnt a fountain drink so it doesn't work and a worker said "there is a subway down the street so you can go there " and that's why I'm writing a review. Very poor customer service, I do recommend going to subway because they are nicer. read more

I only gave this place 4 stars because it's newly opened and overcoming some hiccups. New staff are just learning, so a tad slow in processing your order, but they're getting better and are certainly trying. Bear with them, be patient, don't get upset knowing this much. Staff is very pleasant, capable, make a great sub sandwich to Your specs, you watch them put it all together. Food is good quality, fresh, place looks clean. But like all other JM's, small interior, limited seating. Best order to go! Also, outside in the open air there is limited seats so get there early or check busy-ness before going. Ordered 6 sandwiches - 4 were as ordered; 2 messed up ....and these were pretty much straight off the menu. Very disappointing.

Disappointing. The young man cutting the meat was great but the other staff person who was to "provide the condiments" on top of the bread/meat didn't listen to anything we said. For example, we asked for "Mike's Way" on 1 of our 2 sandwiches and the worker went out of her way to grab a bottle of mustard from a different workstation and slathered our "Mike's Way" sandwich with mustard. That is not Mike's Way, but this particular worker seemed distracted looking at the online ticket orders that were sitting on the counter. The 2nd sandwich wasn't prepared per our instructions, either, but we chose to not ask them to remake either of our 2 sandwiches. Another example- why ask if we want bacon on a sandwich that automatically comes with bacon (the #8)?? Next time, I will be more vocal instead of trying to "be nice" when receiving such poor customer service. My fault. read more
