Jersey Mike's always makes me happy and my recent visit was especially great! I stopped by during the busy lunch rush. Opposed to standing in line, I ordered on the app and waited in my car. I was immediately greeted when I walked in a few minutes earlier than expected order completion. They let me know it'd be ready in less than 5 minutes. I liked the communication between team members and to the customers. I ordered completely different than my normal turkey and provolone. My order, which shall 100% be repeated, was: regular Italian on wheat, pickles, banana peppers, hot chopped pepper relish, oil and vinegar. I asked for extra pickles and banana peppers too. He said he put extra on the sandwich but the other locations give me extra in a cup. I asked for the cup and they made it no problem. I thought I'd take a Pic in the car, eat half and save the other half. Ha! That entire sandwich was gone in 10 minutes. Super enjoyable! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The lot is tight and gets crowded, but because so many people are doing quick pick-ups, the turnover rate is high. I really want to like this location because it's so close to my job, but unfortunately I've had repeated issues when ordering through the app. The first time I ordered the CA Club, the bacon was missing. I assumed maybe they were out since I noticed a missed call afterward. However, the same thing happened again today. When I called, I spoke with Veronica, who was very kind and professional. I explained that if I'm paying for the more expensive subs, I expect to receive everything included. She placed me on hold to check with the staff and came back saying I didn't pay extra for bacon--only for avocado--and that bacon had been added to the salad. My concern wasn't about adding extras, but simply receiving the order as intended. Unfortunately, the preparation didn't follow my instructions this time either. I had also requested the relish on the side to avoid the salad becoming soggy, but it was still added directly on top. My daughter and I dropped by here to grab a couple sandwiches for lunch after hard morning of work. When we arrived, there were 2 other men waiting for their sandwiches to be made and 1 young lady preparing them. She asked us for our order and proceeded to make my daughter's #3 (ham & provolone) sandwich with the 2 male customer's sandwiches. This was very efficient. We ordered: 1 Regular #3 (Ham and Provolone) with Avocado and 1 Regular Mike's Chicken Cheesesteak. The issue is that she asked the 2 men what they wanted on their sandwiches (mustard, mayo, lettuce, veggies, etc.) as she finished making them, but never asked us what we wanted. She was rushing because 2 more customers came into the line. Her coworker, a male, came out of the restroom. He then went to the sink behind the counter, washed his hands for 7 seconds, dried them, and put on plastic gloves to start helping her make sandwiches. I expected her to ask us what condiments, veggies, etc, we wanted on our sandwiches after she rang us up at the register, but she did not. She just wrapped up our sandwiches and gave them to us. I commented that I was going ti ask for lettuce, mustard, pickles, etc. She then offered to unwrap my sandwich to add what I wanted but I declined because that will ruin the packaging of the sub and make it messy and soggy...it's too late. They forgot to add peppers to my boyfriends sandwich and as we were in our car leaving one of the employees ran out and asked if we wanted our peppers to go in a cup. I'm so happy that Jersey Mike's is allowing you to build your sandwich into a wrap these day because although their bread is okay, I do think it could be better, so having the choice of making my sandwich into a wrap makes me a happy camper. I ordered the turkey and Provolone with all the fixings, just like in the sandwich, except with a wheat wrap. The wrap was great and came with a good amount of light and tasty sliced deli turkey meat. Although the Provolone cheese was delicious, the wrap would of been much nicer with a little more. The shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and chopped onions were plentiful and good. I had the wrap with not mayo, but with a small amount of deli mustard, oil, and vinegar which were very good in the wrap. They attempted to warm the wheat wrap on the griddle but it rapidly lost whatever heat it acquired as soon as the added all the cold ingredients inside. It was still a very wheat wrap however. I just placed my first online pickup order. Their sandwiches at this location are significantly smaller than the ones made at other locations. To include Balboa ave and mile of cars locations. Usually when I've gone in to get a sandwich made there is more meat and lettuce on the sandwiches than the sandwich they made me here - I never pay extra for that- typically their portions are large. I will not be returning to this location. Update* 09/25/18 Shortly after this review management reached out to me with a coupon for free order on them. I am not a huge sub fan but Jersey Mike's does make some awesome subs. My absolute favorite is the Big Kahuna Cheese steak. It has so much flavor and is unlike any other cheese steak. I love their other items but generally get their sandwiches in a tub (salad). As I am not a huge fan of their bread the tub works. I personally love the Jersey Shore favorite and the Original Italian, but the Original Italian tends to be a mostly meat salad. The food is always fresh and the employees are friendly and serve you quick to get you in and out. I appreciate that when lunch time is very busy. The only downside to this location is that parking is really bad at lunch time. read more

I just want to give a quick shout out to two girls who work this store. I work at Kaiser down the street, and go here at least twice a week for my Turkey sub, Mike's Way or my other favorite, the Italian. Also Mikes way because is there really any other way?!? There are a ton of other places nearby to eat, but Noni(?) and Kayla keep me coming back to this store. They're witty and make me laugh and have my order memorized. They are always quick to get me out of there which is important in my line of work. Not so much at the fast food places nearby. I hope the store knows that these two shining stars ROCK! read more

First, I love albacore Tuna sandwiches! So when I review a sandwich it is usually Tuna. And for some reasons it's getting harder and harder to find albacore. I get excited when I do! When I got to jersey Mikes it was almost closing time and well empty. Nice for me- no line. I ordered an 8 inch Tuna on wheat. Added avocado and cheese... I still ask why cheese isn't free anymore at a lot of these shops.. :( While he was making my sandwich didn't look like he put much tuna on it then started piling on everything else so I forgot about it. When I got home, there was a lot of tuna! Enough to share with my dog too :) the sandwich was really good. Veggies were fresh, tuna was yummy and flavored well.. the bread could have been a tad bit softer, but was still good. I will definitely return, I might try something different next time just to confirm my 5 stars. If you like albacore tuna only like me, try it at Jersey Mikes! From what I understand, Jersey Mike's uses meats from Boar's Head and Farm Promise. Ok, 1 star for that. Making the sub "Mike's Way," earns another star. The 3rd star goes to having the grill. Any hot sub made using that signature grill is immaculate. The final star I'm giving goes for the cost of the sub. For the amount of work that goes into each custom-made sub, considering the fact that quality product is used, that's awesome. And here comes my complaint. If you order a cold sub, regardless of being "Mike's Way," or not, it lacks flavor! I know some customers like to get some mayo or barbecue sauce or mustard to spread on the sandwich wrap, to then dip the sub in. But that didn't cut it for me. Here's the solution! Get that "Cherry Pepper Relish" on the cold sub you order. It makes it a night and day difference. Excellent condiment! read more
