We have frequented this Jersey Mike's for YEARS ever since it opened. They have gotten orders of ours wrong in the past mainly when ordering cheesesteak sandwiches with no peppers they still end up adding the peppers which it's hard to catch because the steak and peppers get grilled further behind the counter so you don't necessarily see them assembling the sandwich. So fine instead of constantly complaining or choosing to go somewhere else, we just stopped ordering that specific sandwich since it always seemed to be an issue for them. My biggest issue with them arose today when I walk in a little after 1pm. There are only 3 other customers in the store and 2 seem to be waiting for their orders and one is telling the person behind the counter what to put on their sandwich so they are almost done. I see exactly 3 workers in the store when the lunch rush should have just recently ended so I am surprised they don't have more people working at this time on a Saturday. But nobody is in line so I walk right up to place my order and the girl proceeds to say sorry we aren't taking any more orders. I think in my head clearly I must have heard her wrong considering it's just slightly after lunch time and there isn't a line so what seems to be the problem. So I look at her questioningly and say your not serving food? While just standing there NOT making any sandwiches she proceeds to tell me that no they were slammed all morning and then they had an online order for 20 sandwiches which she is still in the process of working on. My first issue with this is you didn't say oh we are backed up right now do you mind waiting it's gonna be a bit. Instead you just refused service to a paying customer because you feel overwhelmed? I actually wouldn't have mind waiting a few extra minutes it probably would have still been faster than me leaving and driving to go somewhere else. Also it didn't seem that the person who ordered the 20 sandwiches was in the store waiting because they weren't standing in front of the counter so how hard would it be to ask what I was trying to order and see if it could be quickly fit in? If she had asked, she would have found I only wanted one turkey with cheese sandwich that was nothing but turkey, cheese, and ranch for my son which would have taken no time to just quickly make! It was poor customer service and not a good decision to alienate a frequent customer. With there being plenty of fast food places around, my family and I will take our business elsewhere if you rudely don't want our business! I have never been one to complain about slightly slower service during the pandemic because I know that people are working hard and also workers are being treated poorly with people's bad attitudes. But you clearly don't have enough workers working at you prime time that a sandwich shop would do business on a Saturday and you don't even give me a chance to tell you I can wait a few for my food. No problem I will choose to give my business to people who want my business and are willing to serve me even when they are busy and crowded. No more San Dimas Jersey Mike's for this family. read more

Notmally I would rave about Jersey Mike's. Their sandwiches are by far some of the best subs I have gotten, but today the service at the San Dimas location left a sour taste in my mouth. I felt rushed to hurry and finish my transaction and my sub hadn't even been made. It seemed as if all they cared about was pushing me out the door. I don't know if I will return to this particular location in the future, especially if this is the standard of service one can expect. One would think the employees would prefer to have their customers leave happy, but I guess that is not the case at this location. Had a great experience yesterday at Jersey Mike's subs in San Dimas. Jake , Nate, Andrew, and Leslie were awesome. So many people were there due to a fundraiser but they kept everything organized, clean and tidy , moved the line quickly with their teamwork. They have a great positive energy, very friendly. The entire staff at the San Dimas Jersey Mike's is outstanding. They are courteous, helpful, friendly and their service is quick. The food is always fresh and pleasant to look at. Mark, in particular, has personally been very helpful to me as i am a disabled veteran and a frequent visitor to this establishment. Well all the tables are always filthy of lettuce and oil .Roast beef taste like tuna. I hate tuna. Soda is always watered down. Sandwich never cut evenly. It doesn't make sense for two average sized sandwiches to be 20 bucks . That's just ridiculous . I feel sick. I don't know if it's from that disgusting meat/sandwich or from the fact that I just wasted a 20. I should have just put that sandwich in the trash where it belongs. Came in tonight at approximately 7:20pm. As I walked up to the Main door the outside chairs and table were chained up and looking inside there were no customers. I almost did not go in as it looked like it was closed. I walked in and saw employees and then knew they were still open. I ordered my sandwich and made it a combo. After paying I asked if they were closing soon as it looked like they were. The cashier said no. I then proceeded to walk over to the beverage area to get some Iced Tea when I looked where the Tea usually is and there was no tea. By that I mean it was cleaned up and put away. I then asked "you don't have Tea" and was told no ....most people don't drink it at night. Are you kidding me??? I've been to this location many times for lunch. I always get their unsweetened iced tea. I don't drink soda or fountain drinks any more for Health Reasons. Too much sugar. Honestly ....I don't believe the answer I was given. The place looked like they were trying to "pre-close" as much as possible. Did I mention it was only 7:20pm at night. I would have never paid for a drink had I known they had put the tea away for the night. Note to the Manager of this location: I as a customer expect that you will have Iced Tea. I get it if I had come like the last hour or 45 minutes before closing and they had stopped making tea. This is way too early to stop providing Tea as a beverage. If this is how you operate.... punishing your Customer simply because they chose to come in the Evening then I will have to take my business elsewhere. read more

These sandwiches are super good. The bread is so tasty and the meat is sliced right in front of you. Every time I have been in here the employees have been super friendly and make you feel welcome . Always has a friendly staff working. Jonathan, Sabrina, and Scott are very friendly and inviting. This is my go to sandwich shop in San Dimas because the food is good and people are awesome. My sandwich is the #8 Club Sub on wheat. In my opinion the food is slightly more expensive than the average sandwich shop but you get what you pay for. Plus good service is something I'm willing to pay for. Keep up the great work guys! read more

The worst experience ever at this location. First off the app and website were not working. Finally was able to order as a guest through their website. Went to pick up my order not all of it was there so I said I have to come back. When I came Back I had to wait for them to complete another persons order. I don't think I've ever left one star for any place. And I do love jersey mikes sandwiches, but tonight made me never want to come back to this location. I walked up and their signs in the front were turned off, so I thought they were closed. I checked on Yelp which says they close at 9, and there were people inside. So I walked in and there were two boys working, and of them kind of throws his head back and says "always 10 minutes before closing!" So the other kid looks at me and very monotone says "hi". I said "I'm so sorry, are you closed?" And he said, "no, we close in 10 minutes. But it's ok I can make you a sandwich." And I said "are you sure because your friend looks pretty mad." And the other kid just turned around. So I order my food, and the angry kid closed me out and asked if I wanted chips and a drink. I told him just the drink. So they hand me my tub (sandwich without the bun) with no bag and no fork. I decided to let that go and just asked for my drink. He looks at me and says, "what?" And I said "the drink I asked for. Did you even charge me for it?" And he didn't. So as he rings it up another customer comes up mad about something, the kid gets distracted and says my total is $9.26 (or something close) and I said "for a drink!?" And he got mad and rang it again for the $2 it should have been. Then he's telling the angry customer that they close in 10 and the guy had to leave. So the guy was getting mad. THEN the two boys are talking about how everyone is pissing them off. So with this I have something to say to those boys: I have worked in 4 customer service jobs, 3 being restaurants. I know what it's like to serve people who walk in right before closing and have demanding customers. But you save that conversation for after work and you do not let your customers feel like they are a nuisance the second they walk in. That is how reviews like this happen. read more

1st time going to the San Dimas location on my lunch. Gus did an excellent job explaining the menu. After I placed my order, went to pay and realized I left my wallet at home. I love Jersey Mikes, but not this location! Sandwiches are freshly made and it sure shows, they are delicious! Though, I went to this location and to begin with, the girl began slicing my meat...while speaking on her cell phone! This struck me as very rude and is not welcoming! A guy then began putting my toppings on my sandwich and when he was finished, he realized there was no papers left to wrap my sandwich. Let me start by saying I love Jersey Mike's however, this particular location is the worst hands down. Every time I go no matter what time of the day or night the veggies look like death!! The lettuce is brown and rest of the veggies look stale and old like it's been sitting there for centuries! When I ask for new lettuce the girl brings out new lettuce and piles the old stale brown lettuce on top.. Now maybe she's comfortable eating old brown lettuce but I come to Jersey Mikes to get a fresh sandwich and good customer service. When I turned around abruptly to leave she called herself taunting me by saying have a nice day like four times in a row. Miss I was having a nice day and continued to have a nice day as I drove over to Capriotti's and received excellent customer service and a fresh sandwich with fresh veggies! I went into Jersey Mikes tonight for the first time ever. I was standing in a line of two. One guy was making the other customers sandwich while I was chatting with the customer. She had to keep reminding him what she wanted on her sandwich. When her food was wrapped there was as mess on the counter with vinegar and lettuce etc. the guy scooped it up and put it the trash. Then the other guy puts on fresh gloves and the counter is clean. Then he's asking me questions while the tv is blasting behind me. I wanted to say what I wanted on my sandwich while he kept saying something. I finally realized he had a Jersey Mikes lingo going on. I had to sheepish keep asking what that meant. He began to make my sandwich and I asked to please omit the oil and vinegar. As he's finishing it a friend of his roles and they they begin a dialog while he proceeds to pour oil and vinegar all over my sandwich. I remind him that I didn't want that. He kind of stares at me like I should just take it anyway. I ask him if he can start over. He turns around and grabs the trash can to bring it to the counter to scoop the mess into it. He drops the can and touches the floor now. Then he picks it up and scoops the whole mess into the can wiping his trash and floor touched glove on the counter. Then he proceeds to grab another roll with the same gloves and and sets it on the counter. I told them loudly that I'd changed my mind I don't eat from the trash and floor. Super disappointed.
