Three of my last four orders (two delivery, 1 curbside) have been incorrect. Today, a delivery order, the drink and sandwich were incorrect. Last week, another delivery order, both sandwiches were incorrect. The order before that, curbside, the cookies were incorrect. The cookie and the drink being incorrect, while frustrating as the orders were clearly submitted correctly, are not monumental issues. The incorrect sandwiches are a bigger deal as that is the main part of the meal. Ordering a chicken philly and receiving a beef philly, how does that even happen? That's not to say that I have not had adequate service from this location in the past because I have. However, the recent 75% failure rate is and should be unacceptable. read more

What I most appreciate is that when we made a recent order that included Gluten free bread they called me 3x to make sure the bread was not an allergy but a preference. I really appreciate that. I went here tonight because I had a great experience at another location. THIS ONE SUCKS!!! I walked in and my husband ordered his sandwich. I was asked what I wanted and I asked for mine in a bowl. Apparently while he was taking my order he was sidetracked by the girl coming in to work. While she was finishing mine I looked over and she had it on bread. I said "I ordered that as a bowl." She replied, "It's called a tub." STRIKE ONE!!! She proceeded to take the meat off the bread and slap it on the lettuce in the TUB. Added some other things and handed it over. This location is clean, and the staff is friendly, I haven't experienced anything negative, nor have I seen un-healthy practices. The big thing here is the quality of the food, as I have experienced at many different locations. Meats, bread, and even the condiments are above what you will see in other restaurants of the like, even better than some Italian deli spots near me (here's pointing towards you, Claro's!). I've heard about Jersey Mike's for some time now and was pleasantly surprised that one opened up near me in San Dimas (right across from Costco) on Lone Hill. They just opened a couple days ago this place has been packed ever since. The way they work is similar to subway where you place your order and chose meats, veggies, and sauces when you walk across the glass counter where there's an assembly line of individuals making each customized sub to your liking. Only exception is that everything is fresh (there's no processed meat or pre-frozen meats). They slice up a huge slab of meat to your order. Also, they have three sizes of subs available (A Mini is 5" long, a Regular is 7" and a Giant is 14-15"). Since I had a coupon for 50% a Giant I decided to try one of their hot subs and went with the Chipotle Cheese Steak. The Chipotle Cheese Steak is a hot sub with grilled onions, peppers, chipotle mayo, and steak. The 15" sub was more than enough for me to share with another person. The total came out to be around $14 and with the 50% coupon I paid around $7. Fair sandwiches but somewhat expensive. I love how everything was freshly sliced right in front of you and would definitely order Mike's Way every time. The staff was super friendly and I would go again... as long as I had coupons. Only downsides besides price are the place is Pepsi (personal preference on my part) and the fact Capriotti's is right across the street, which has just as good if not better sandwiches, at a similar price, with much larger portion sizes. The 'assemble it in front of you' gimmick is nice and all... but if they are assembled with love I didn't quite taste it. So it's Christmas Eve. I come in and speak with a girl named Raven. I explain to her that I believe I have enough points for a free regular but I actually want a giant how does that work. Ravrn states they have to make them separately even though I want the exact same thing. So I do as she says, the young lady making my sandwich asks if I want anything else, I state I ordered Mike's way she says it is. I said where's the bacon and mayo. She's like oh I forgot. She kindly fixed it. Then as I'm at the register I find out someone used my points and they are no longer there. Says anyone that knows my number can use them. Great! So now I ask can you charge me for a giant since that's what I originally wanted. Raven steps in and says no! Wth! It's same sandwich just wrapped separately. So Raven discloses that if you order a giant you get less meat than if you were to order 2 regulars. That's how they get you. So glad these guys are here!! Now I have a JM close to my abode. And its a good one. Great location right next to Costco off Lone Hill. Today I went in with a coupon from the Covina Quarterly. When I went to use it, I was politely informed I was actually at the San Dimas location and the coup was for the Glendora one. I stupidly forgot about the Glendora one (I think that's the one up on Barranca/Rte. 66- I always think of that area as Azusa). The manager/owner was kind enough to go ahead and accept it anyway. That, to me, is the 5th star. If you read my reviews you know 2 things: 1. I HATE coupons in general and only rarely have the fortitude to use one and 2. When they are NOT accepted I become livid and immediately think less of that establishment because they have a cheap owner. (What else is he/she scrimping on, then?) No bueno. Was starving and decided to grab my favorite Italian #13 sandwich. Walked in and waited because it took a few minutes due to a coworker visiting and chatting with the employees. Yesterday was the first time I tried Jersey Mike's. I've heard about this place for some time now but never had the chance to eat it as of yesterday. The employees were nice and always had a smile on there face. When I asked the difference between a regular and a giant size, the guy was very helpful on sampling which is what size. What I like a lot is that they cut up the meats right in front of your eyes which I really appreciate. I ordered #26 which is Bacon Ranch Chicken Cheese Steak and I added mushrooms to it. I would have to say this is my new favorite sandwich place. I like them a lot better than Subway. The store was clean and organized. The restroom was nice and neat as well. I rarely give out 1 stars but I'm very disappointed. I love Jersey Mikes and they normally do a great job at other locations I go to. I ordered via online and in the notes I was very specific twice to not put oil and vinegar on sandwich and put it on the side. This place did not pay attention to detail and as a result my coworkers and I got a very soggy giant sandwich. The bacon was very hard to chew on, and there was a jalepeno stem in my sandwich which was lovely when I was chewing. The lettuce was not green it was yellow. Other jersey mikes use the shredded lettuce and not iceberg like this location. Will never go to this location ever again! ****Update**** the manager Jonathon immediately called me to rectify the situation. He listened to my concerns and was very attentive on my next order. The place was understaffed and although the girls were apologetic, I feel like this has happened to me too many times here. This was my first time at Jersey Mike's, and I'll definitely be back. I had the #7 - basically a turkey sandwich. However, this sandwich was nothing like Subway or even Quizno's. The ingredients are really fresh - they carve the meat right in front of you, and the toppings are also good quality (lettuce is crunchy, tomatoes are firm). I added some pickles and banana peppers. They give you a good amount and spread it around so that you get a little bit in every bite. I usually use a lot of mustard in my sandwiches, but the vinaigrette and salt and pepper that they add were flavorful enough that I didn't have to add any other condiments. Bonus - if you buy the largest size, it's enough to share with 2-3 people, and they cut it into four pieces to make it more convenient. read more
