I ordered a sandwich that was not made correctly. I called the store back to complain and was told no that's what you ordered multiple times. I've been ordering the same sandwich for a long time, so I know what I like. I then asked for the person's name and he told me it was none of my business. I then asked for a supervisor and he told me he was the supervisor. I can't believe anyone would put a person in charge with such a nasty attitude. I used to like Jersey Mike's on Tapo Canyon .. but the young gentleman that work there now still advertise that they're open until 8:00 p.m. ... but even when you drive there and get there at 7:45 they tell you they're closing. They use a variety of different excuses ! I'm sure they could make a sandwich in 15 minutes. They've done this several times now so we will no longer go to that location !!!! They just opened today and when I went it was packed. However, the staff was very nice and they were slamming out orders left and right. While my order took a bit longer than usual, I was offered a complimentary drink for the slight inconvenience. The staff ran like a well oiled Voltron and despite some confusing directions from a few customers still managed to satisfy expectations. I have to say this Jersey Mike's is a lot bigger than the one down on Cochran but the same great customer service. The management, Manny & Andy, are great guys and you can tell they influence their team to exhibit the same character. We are so grateful to have this closer, beautiful location just a mile from the house. The welcoming staff just makes the authentic deliciousness of their subs even more enjoyable. Good location, workers, and customer service. But, the bread is ALLWAYS dry and crunchy.

I love Jersey Mike's and having my sandwich done Mike's Way is the best. This review is for the newest location here in Simi Valley on the corner of Alamo & Tapo Canyon in the Vons shopping center. This new location is convenient and clean as would be expected of a new store. The employees always seem upbeat & although new, get people through the line in a timely manner. It's a bit smaller than other locations with only a few seating options, but is still comfortable and there's always sports on the 2 TV's they have. It does get quite busy at dinner time during the week. I will definitely be returning and encourage anyone on this side of town to check it out, you'll be well taken care of! read more

I came here last week and the girl at the register is very rude. She threw the receipt to a customer and walked away. Very unprofessional to and lack customer service. I never go to this location and never will again. Staff isn't friendly, place is dirty, veggies are not fresh. They handed me a dirty cup and I had to ask for a new one even though she saw it. Plus fountain drinks shouldn't not be permitted right now and they are not enforcing that nor wiping down the area after people are getting their own drinks. Entered store 12 minutes prior to closing. Was told no hot sandwiches and no cash. I asked why and cashier answered because we close in 10 minutes and we already cleaned the grill. That is crappy customer service. I worked in food service, cleaning the restaurant prior to closing is at your risk, not the customers. Lost my $60 order and future ones. Priority needs to be given to customers IN line and not the mobile orders. If there are too many mobile orders coming through and you cannot handle them both, then shut off mobile orders in the app. It is so frustrating how long it takes to get a simple sandwich. read more

This location has horrible service! I have never had a good experience with them!! I just came in with a huge order that I ordered on the mobile app and it said it was going to be ready 10 min after I got here because I know they take forever to start with, I get here and one of my sandwiches isn't even made! They haven't even started on it! Why the heck do you give someone a time that there sandwich will be ready if it won't be ready even close to that time?? It took like half hour to get my order. Longest time ever. Ridiculous. The sign said "Pick your bread" and I have a wheat allergy so I picked gluten free (was going to get no bread until I saw the sign). We ordered the Giant (yes it was Giant) Original Italian and the Big Kahuna Cheese Steak and both were delicious. We placed our order using their app and when we arrived they were ready. For me, JerseyMikes is the best chain for sub sandwiches, hot or cold. Their system of slicing the meat, fresh and fast along with the always nicely arranged condiments allows a construction of an excellent sub. Then it comes rolled up neatly and properly in a paper bag, with a twist at the top. They Have managed to create that local shop type sub. I know it's a chain so it can be hit and miss but they really do seem to do a good job of keeping things consistent. The guys that usually wait on me. Aren fast and friendly. When I come back for a second sub, they are happy that I like the first one not bummed out that they have to make another sandwich. They are the anti-subway. A lot of the fast food chains have become so terribly mediocre or worse. Jersey Mike's has stuck to what they know and it's paid off in a quality product. I recently refreshed my house and all of the workers were pleased to see the jerseyMikes bag instead of that sad cellophane thing. Been going here awhile. Love the food. Last few weeks I've been getting attitude if I haven't ordered online. Then I'll get attitude when I'm the only person in the store that "it will be awhile". But worst of all they just hired a guy with a long bracelet that is getting all over each piece of meat he is slicing every single piece of meat is just getting slathered in his long bracelet. I'm used to going to the one on 1st street which I'm always pleased with. This one here is the worst one I've ever been to. As soon as I got there it was dead. There was so much residual food built up on the meat slicer it was disgusting. I asked the guy to clean in and he did but with this nasty towel he found under the counter. As I was watching him clean the slicer. I saw the other worker refilling the pickles, peppers and other stuff but he didn't take the remaining condiments out first just adding to them, making me think how many times he has done this and how old are the condiments at the bottom of the dish. I am absolutely disgusted. I recently had a sandwich from here expecting it to be fresh. I bite into my sandwich and the lettuce and vegetables tasted old as if they weren't prepared the day of. If I didn't want fresh veggies I should've gone to subway. Don't get me started on the meat, it felt slimy and like it was leftover meat from the day before or more, overall I was disappointed. I stopped here once more, this being my second visit to this location because it was convenient and on my way home, with hesitation I went in any way. The first thing I noticed of course was food every where, all over the prepping station but like also all over the cutting area and even around the register, this was one of the reasons I didn't want to return because my first experience was like this, the LA AVE is never like this the scrape wipe down after every new order. Another thing that made me uncomfortable was listening to two associates bicker at one another (yes I know you couldn't hear me give my order) but I could definitely hear how you didn't want to cut the bread or prepare my order as you slapped the cold cuts around, tossing them on the counter and someone else picking them up putting them back on my sandwich. It's sucks you had a bad day, dude, but you're at work and people are watching and listening and it's uncomfortable and awkward.
