After entering, we stood waiting for approximately five minutes without being greeted or acknowledged. No one informed us that we needed to order using the kiosk until we asked. I ordered a turkey bacon sandwich, but when my order was prepared, it was missing the bacon. My husband calmly approached the manager to explain that we didn't feel like valued customers because of the lack of service. Rather than listening or trying to resolve the issue, the manager became confrontational. He compared my husband to his grandfather and stated that he "wouldn't even let his grandpa talk to him like that." His tone and behavior escalated the situation instead of helping to de-escalate it. He then told us we could leave, despite the fact that I had just spent nearly $20 on a sandwich that was made incorrectly. As we were leaving, the manager continued yelling at us and making upsetting comments. In a moment of frustration, I threw my sandwich back toward the counter, and it struck him. He immediately pulled out his phone, put the camera directly in my face, and repeatedly stated that I was "going to jail tonight." When the police arrived, they indicated they were familiar with this manager from previous incidents and even suggested that I contact corporate regarding the way the situation had been handled. I fully acknowledge that throwing the sandwich was not the right way to respond, and I regret that action. However, I believe the manager's conduct, lack of professionalism, and repeated escalation of the situation were completely unacceptable. A manager should be focused on resolving customer concerns, not provoking further conflict. I hope this incident is taken seriously so that other customers do not have a similar experience.

The side of chili beans was an 8 oz container filled to the brim with steamy hot ground beef and kidney beans. Great flavor and texture. My daughter had the tri tip sandwich on a garlic buttered roll. The sandwich was jammed packed with thin sliced tri tip. She has the macaroni and cheese. She loved it. He ended up asking if I tried the brisket(which I already ordered, great attention to your customers, again) and put it in my girlfriend's box instead of mine who doesn't eat pork! This is the spot I choose for meat lasagna and for their meatballs. I haven't tried anything else yet. We ordered their meat lasagna for a birthday party. We picked it up on Saturday afternoon at 3PM exactly when they said it would be ready. They wrote the directions on top of the cover and we followed them exactly as written. The lasagna was so good that our guests were all pleased. Many asked where we got it. I was proud to tell them I'd made the right choice by going the extra mile to Italia deli. We had 20 guests, everyone had a piece and some of our friends took a couple pieces home. We still had leftovers to put in the freezer. The staff is friendly and accommodating.
