I've been coming to this one once a week on Monday's for almost 5 months. I have had sandwiches from both Thousand Oaks locations and they are fine (4 STARS both T.O. locations) Sad to say the quality of the bread at this location has gone WAY DOWN - they must be using day or two old bread early in the lunch crowd (11:00 am) It has happened 3 weeks in a row (3 strikes and your OUT!) Really dry, hard crusts on the white rolls - terrible! The quality of their meats, cheeses, and fresh vegetables are well worth spending more $$$ than Subway - but if they are going this route I will be buying a pre-made sandwich from Trader Joe's across the street on Mondays from now on - bummer! The staff has always been fun and friendly - but how far does that go when you get back to work with your sandwich and your not happy??? read more

Love their sub sandwiches. Also love that you get a free sub on your birthday if you sign up for their fan club. The reason for 4 stars is because I am asked EVERY time I order the #8 club sub if I would like bacon on it. Um- I ordered a sub that includes bacon. Yes, I want it! read more

While their food is wonderful, I can't stand how long it always takes to get my food. This is not the first time either. EVERY time i come here it takes a while, but this time was the worst. Yesterday I spent my whole lunch break waiting behind 3 other people in line. Didn't even get to order my sandwich because I had to go back to work hungry. They were extremely slow, 7 minutes for 3 people to make 1 sandwich, really?! It would have been worth the wait if I had the time, but if 1 person at subway can make a sandwich in 2 min, 3 people should be able to take care of 1 order in less than 5. Ridiculous. Also, when I used to come here about 5 years ago, they always, ALWAYS messed up my boyfriends order. Needless to say, I don't come here very often because I don't have my whole life to wait for my food. In my 30 min break, they made 3 sandwiches. How does this place make money? read more

The owner to this location is very rude. She doesn't know how to do the task of an owner and when I ordered online they got my order wrong and I had to drive all the way back across town and she was rude and told me not to be rude. When I asked her, her name she said she's the owner, which means nothing. She was the one manning the cash register and got the order wrong. When I asked to be refunded she made it very difficult and said I had to come in to get refunded. I have never had a problem with this place being rude until the "owner" worked. Maybe she shouldn't work because I'm never going back to this location and any others she owns! read more

Their sandwiches are always top notch. All sandwiches can be customized and are all made-to-order. They make their roast beef in house. It is excellent. The shop is attractive and reasonably clean. Reasonably priced. Quality all around. Only "down-side" issues is their "order ahead" web-site. It is cumbersome and fussy. After I placed an entire order, it reset because I took too long and it messed up my pick up time. Don't waste time on the tool. Just phone ahead. They are friendly and much less aggravating than enduring the painful web site. read more

Love this location! By far my fav. Staff is always cheerful and friendly. Of course, Jersey Mike's food is fresh and very tasty! Patient with children. Establishment is always clean. Def recommend going here! #7 Turkey & Cheese I love but if ordering to go make sure you get dressing on the side. Stopped by just before the lunch rush. They didn't seem too busy. I wasn't impressed by the service. At least with the three employees that were there during my visit. I don't frequent this location often. I have experienced much better service at other locations. I can't review the quality of their food, only because I left before ordering. The worst Jersey Mikes that I have ever been too. Service is extremely slow, I went the other night and it took over 10 minutes for the staff to make 2 regular subs and 2 kid subs. Oh and the portions, my kids had the ham and cheese subs, the ham was cut extra thin and the cheese was see through. I could actually see the ham through the cheese and at first thought it was the mayonnaise until the wife pulled it off. I asked the employee that was cutting the ham if he was serious about the lousy two slices of ham and out of his own generosity he added a 3rd slice. After spending $30 at this place we all left hungry and went A few doors down and ate again. I would not recommend this location to anyone. read more

If you want a really good sub made with real deli meat Jersey Mike's is your place. Most quick sub place's just don't cut it with budget ingredients. Yes, you pay a little more at Jersey Mike's. But, you definitely get what you pay for. The number 7 with jalapenos is always a winner. read more

There were four people working today me and my boyfriend went in and I just got a sandwich #9 mikes way of course :) the sandwich was good the service got ruined by one girl brown/blonde skinny she just didn't look happy, twisted up are sandwich and gave it to us with no smile just a snarl on her face like she was mad about something. She wasn't friendly her people skills need improvement. Everyone else was amazing and kind. All she was doing was cutting out sandwich and bagging it up... She seemed like she hated it. Plus my sandwich was cute half way so I had to tear it no biggy but you work with sandwiches all day id like to think you have that part down at least.. Would've given them at least 4 stars but that girls attitude wasn't the greatest.. Idk if we will go back now. read more

Jersey Mike's sandwiches are definitely a favorite of ours but the customer service at this location is some of the worst I've experienced (granted it has been consistently only from one staff member). But seeing as how I have the same negative encounter every time, I now drive to the other location in Simi because there customer service is excellent. read more

I went here today, and got my usual #9 that I get at every other jersey mikes. For some reason whenever I come to this location they are always tight fisted with their meat. I used to love this place. But now it is an absolute joke. While I was in line I saw the 3 separate customers return with wrong orders, a poor elderly man who had to leave with the owners phone number because the cashier couldn't figure out how to open the register to give him his change. The food was pretty good but the service was horrible, I went in with my girlfriend and got in line, it wasn't busy at the time so everything should've went along smoothly, but as I was waiting in line, the girl behind the counter kept making a sandwich and didn't even acknowledge we were there, as she finally finished she walked over and asked what my girlfriend wanted, she began making that and then asked what I wanted, she looked confused when I asked for a giant number 20 on white and then walked away, I assumed she was getting started on the sandwich, during all this she kept making jokes and slacking off with another employee obviously lose track of what she was doing, after a long wait for my sandwich and several "guys we have customers" from what seemed to be the manager on duty, my sandwich was ready, only to find out it was a regular not a giant... she apologized and began making the other half, I started to become very frustrated and the service of this venue wasn't helping, I hope these employees learn to grow up and become mature adults read more

Subs done right. The original Jersey Mike's is where the "submarine" sandwhich was created back in 1956. All the meats are sliced to order, the roast beef is cooked fresh and the bread is baked in house. It will cost you a few more $ than Subway but well worth it. Really can't go wrong with an Italian or club supreme. read more

Always on the spot, all you expect from Jersey Mikes, but this location gets the happy help. I have personally never had a visit that was not all smiles and good atmosphere. We do shop lunches with them 2-3x a year, advance order over the phone and ALWAYS my order is right on time! Enjoy my visits for the clean dining, excellent sandwiches and friendly upbeat atmosphere. the sandwich was so good!! this was my first time eating at jersey mike's and I will go there again! there was two guys working there and they were extremely sweet and seemed to love what they were doing! they were very helpful when i didn't know what to get, and helped make my perfect sammy! it was an extremely pleasant experience for me. plus it wasn't just special treatment because there was a line and I watched them be so sweet to everyone else as well.. thanx for the good work boys! rock on! read more

I am only reviewing my experience with the Jersey Mike's in Simi Valley. My wife and I went there for the first time tonight. I ordered the Kahuna Philly Cheese sub and requested they omit the jalapenos. My wife ordered the meatball sub and requested pepperoncini and onions. We got home with our order and my wife's meatball sub had cold meatballs and cold bread, oh and no pepperoncini and no onions. My sub still had the jalapenos. So much for listening to the customer. I drove back to let the manager know about our first (and last) experience and he said "Sorry 'bout that". Oh yeh, he's sorry alright! read more

I had a coupon and ordered online 3 subs. When I got there somehow the order was not received so it was not ready. The manager apologized over and over again. So they filled the order promptly and I left. When I got to my friends house she opened her sandwich, to feed her elderly father, and noticed it was full of Jalapenos, and her father cannot eat spicy. So I called the store and Justin answered my call. I told him I did not order that sandwich. He immediately said he would remake them and I sent my friends husband back over there to pick them up. Not only did he remake them without the peppers he apologized. I looked at the menu again and realized it was totally my fault, I ordered the wrong ones but he was so sweet he wanted to satisfy his customer. I am impressed with Justin and the way he runs his business. BTW all the employees there bend over backwards to make a customer feel welcome. They are the best. read more

Here again, kids request. The good, today the tables were clean! We know hot subs take the longest so we ask if they could get them started for us before it was our turn to order. By my surprise, A girl (we will call her Red) came out from behind the counter and asked for our hot sub order. What even surprised me more and I want to give her an A++, she proceeded to ask the rest of the line for their hot sub order. I also noticed her back behind the counter taking charge in friendly professional manner. Great job Red and Jersey Mikes! The bad and only because I believe in positive criticism. To the guy who refers to himself as just "the bread and meat guy" u are more than that. Just ask management how u can advise clients that u will get their bread and meat started and then so and so will be happy to help with the rest of the ingredients (something to the sort).
