The crew that was working tonight 8/14 was awesome! You can definatly tell all of them we're taking initiative to help where needed not sure but it seemed slightly understaffed. The 3 employees that I saw handled what seemed close to 10 orders between takeout and in store orders in the short time I was there. Me and my family of 6 all enjoyed our food aswell everything was executed consistently. We got a few hot sandwiches wich were delicious and the stubborn cream soda they have is great aswell. This location is so generous with the meat and cheese. I get their number 7 and comparing it to the Moorpark location, it's almost twice the size. I get the mini btw. I've noticed the location at Moorpark and Janss also serves a heftier sandwich. Seems that since it's a chain all things would be equal. Moorpark' sandwiches are more bread and lettuce than meat and cheese. Just an observation. read more

This place is the worst . They have gotten my order wrong a few times . I use to love Jersey Mikes , but after today, I will not be going back. If you're going to get food for lunch you'll wait for nothing and spend your lunch waiting for them to to figure out how to make a sandwich - Regardless, if you ordered online or not. You will stand there and wait because your order won't be ready . It never is. I spent my lunch waiting for a sandwich that never came . Love this place! Gotta get the #13. Italian style sandwich with tons of quality meat, all freshly sliced. Get it Mike's Way to have it piled high with shredded lettuce, onions, tomatoes, and oil and vinegar; although I skip the tomatoes because they are gross. Not knocking the quality of their produce, tomatoes are just wrong, people! Anyway, not only are the sandwiches great but the staff is always very friendly and they make your sandwich with care. They dont fling the meat around and haphazardly squirt condiments in big blobs like some of those other Sub shops that want you to "eat fresh". Hey, I have to eat that thing you're tossing around! Super slow service. I go on my lunch cause it's cheap for lunch ($5) but what's the point when I'm in there for 20mins getting my order, leaving me with only 10mins to eat. So I love jersey mikes but I have had multiple occasions where the service here is not good. I ordered ahead of time on the website for 12pm today and they made the wrong sandwich. We order ahead because we do not have time to wait because our lunch hour is 30 mins. So we had to wait an additional 10 mins for the correct sandwich to be made. Why order an hour ahead if the 10 minute wait is needed? People went through the line faster than us getting our food correctly. The staff seemed unapologetic and it was disappointing. read more

I had a horrible experience at this location. I was overcharged and my coupon was not accepted even though it was valid and expired in September 2019. ¥ have never had an issue with this coupon at this location but this time I was told they would not accept and made me pay more which included me returning chips and drinks and still paid more than the $24.99 I should have only paid. What a horrible customer service to not really offer any help or sympathy with situation. I have been coming to the Simi Valley Cochran location for years. I have never encountered the lack of want to help or find a solution. I brought a coupon which I do all the time from couponsdventures. This time though for some reason the cashier said the item would not scan and he could not take coupon without a 5 digit code. I told Vincent who states is the supervisor as well that I don't know why the barcode does not work and it's not my fault those 5 numbers are not clear or show. I went home leaving my elderly parents to see if I could get a better copy directly on couponsdventures.com on home computer and iPad and gave all the combinations of numbers for those 5 digits I could make out, to note; barcode for about 10 versions I could pull up were all the same so you can't say my copy was altered. After exhausting all my ways I thought I could get a better version, I was told by Vincent after trying all this if he can try to please as a courtesy one time (I have never asked for anything or complained prior about this store location) adjust to the coupon amount as he can see coupon is valid with expiration date not until September. I am obviously not trying to pull anything and have a valid coupon. Vincent would not budge and only said he could give me 20% off which still was $20 more than the coupon (he also only gave me $10% when all was done)We ended up returning chips and drinks and still were charged $30 for two sandwiches and two drinks. What a horrible experience. I was very polite and pleaded for their help. We chose very carefully where we eat and have jersey mikes in our normal routine. I always and I mean always every visit give a tip as well and hear that ding. Again I am sure Vincent recognizes me from my many visits and I have given tips direct to him and the team. Stopped here to pick up food on the way to a friends house. I think they are not managing the time to tasks to visitors. It took half an hour to get three sandwiches made and there was no one else in the store. We had two basic turkey wraps and one hot sandwich - that is about 10 minutes per sandwich with no one else in line. Plus the meat cuts were very small. I'm not sure what's up with the negative reviews on here. I guess you can't please all the people all the time! I frequent this Jersey Mikes about 3 or 4 times a week. The staff are always friendly and always go the extra mile to make my sandwiches extra special. I usually get a regular number 7 on Rosemary bread grilled and have never had a bad experience here. I used to go to J Mikes at least once a week. This location has ruined it for me. The staff is great and the quality is good but the new owner decides he needs more money for his fancy cars so every sandwich is now half the size. I used to be able to get a regular 9 and it would fill me up. I was at this location a year ago and was so disappointed that they skimped me on my sandwich that I hadn't visited a J mikes in that long. A year passes and I give this location another try. The sandwich was even smaller than it was a year ago!!!! I had to go to del taco because I was in no way satisfied. J mikes has lost a frequent customer because of this location and the new owner. I love Jersey Mikes but will not go back to this location. I ordered online at 12:55. It said my sandwich would be ready for pick up at 1:25. I get there at 1:30 tell them my name and I was picking up an online order. They looked confused and looked around they "found" my order ticket taped on the wall near the cash register. I'm pretty sure they put all the online orders in the same spot every time. Anyhow after a couple minutes, they said, "we will make your sandwich now". I sat and waited for about 10 minutes. I could see they had not started. In the meantime, several customers were coming in and having their sandwiches made. I decided I did not want my sandwich anymore and went to the register to let them know. They never acknowledged me and a few minutes later they handed me my sandwich and said nothing. I said I don't want it anymore and this happened last time I ordered online. He said if they are busy it doesn't matter when you are supposed to pick up. I said so it's faster to come wait in line he said yeah it depends it's like when you order pizza. (makes no sense). I said I am on my lunch break & have to go that is why I ordered online, to begin with, to save time. Then they said they reversed the charges on my card. We'll see because I called AMEX & they have no record of them reversing. I then called and they said if it doesn't show up give them a call and they could give me no receipt or anything saying I was to get a refund. What a hassle I believe they just didn't make the online orders like they were supposed too if it is their policy to make the online orders whenever they feel like then that is one of the stupidest things I've ever heard and they should set up a text or email, Hey your order is ready. read more

I have been a fan of Jersey Mike's for some time. I love the No. 6 (Roast Beef) made Mike's Way. I've ordered this as far away as Harper's Ferry West Virginia (yup, they have a Jersey Mike's). But the Simi Valley location has something special going on. The staff are working hard and treating people right. I love to see the senior staff teaching the younger staff. The location is often busy, but the wait times are not bad and well worth it. Kudos to the staff and management. Best subs in Simi. read more

I was told it would be ready in 5 minutes. 15 minutes later, I walk into an empty store and asked for my to go order. Finally tried Jersey Mike's subs and was really wowed. I haven't had a sub in ages and burned out on Subway quite a while ago. I know there are quite a few newer sub places to check out in Simi, so the wife went to Jersey Mikes and brought home some subs for dinner. I had the ham and cheese and was really happy to finally have a great tasting sub. The bread was soft and perfect and the meat, cheese and condiments were blended perfectly. What a nightmare! Whole new employee staff that are completely inept. Poor lady in front of me ordered a hot sub and ten minutes later they haven't even started making it. Slow and messy making my sandwiches. My sandwiches sat on the counter while had to wait for girl to come from back to ring me up. When she finally rang me up she just stood there in a trance and didn't hand me my sandwiches. I had to reach and grab them myself and then ask for my drink which she never gave me. I ordered a mini club sub and my dad ordered a regular chicken cheese steak. My sandwich was mikes way, nothing special. But they forgot the mayo and bacon, which was only caught when I went to pay and I had asked if they even put the bacon on it. Dad's sandwich showed up plain and 10 minutes later(!!!!) even though he distinctly asked for it Mikes way. Also, we're not convinced that they gave us chicken, pretty sure it was steak. Also there were 6-7 people working all handling our food but it was so slow and inefficient. Why did so many people need to be back there?! At one point one guy was slicing avocado while one held the bread that the avocado was going on. Wtf? Such a waste of time and payroll! And to top it off while we were eating a very loud construction sound started, like an electrical saw. When we looked to see what it was the bathroom door was opened and they were cutting pipe. I would give less stars if I could. I placed a order for pick up and ended up leaving without any food. I arrived in 20 min like instructed and upon arrival the store was backed up tremendously. A woman is patiently waiting at the register eating a bag of chips because something happened to her order. They finally settled up with her and she leaves super irritated. I'm next to pay for my pickup but they are so backed up and in chaos they don't even acknowledge me. I see another employee bring back several sandwiches that had been unwrapped and re wrapped. The employee tells manager that they are not the right sandwiches. The manager then sticks them back in the pile of to go sandwiches instead of discarding them. I say " excuse me if that's my sandwiches I don't want them if some one else has already touched them". She replies that she has a lot of to go orders. I have to walk away at this point because I know someone is getting sandwiches fondeled by some stranger then stuck back in the wrapper. I wait for another few minutes to see if they are gonna remake my sandwiches but they are so distracted with other customers they just ignore me. I eventually have to just say to them I nlonger want my order. She offered to make it right away but at this point I was so upset I could not give them my money. read more
