This is our go to Jersey Mikes. The staff are always friendly & accommodating to how we like to order our sandwiches. We had a little issue a while back and manager Rob called me, apologized & made things right on our next order. Showed my wife jersey miles for the first time and we killed our food! It was so so good! I got the #8 Club Sub, replaced the provolone with white Americana me double, with lettuce salt pepper and light olive oil and a side of sea salt kettle chips! My wife ordered the #13 Original Italian sub with jalapeño kettle chips and we ate it up!! So so good! The service was fast the they employees were so kind to us and very catering which is hard to find these days! So good! read more

I'm supposed to be understanding because they're operating during a pandemic...hmm...well, I think places can use that as an excuse. I feel like I just got ripped on 2 1/2 subs, which really amounts to just 1 whole sub, plus toppings & a bag of chips. Over $22. I guess they're trying to make up for lost revenue. So, it all amounts to; I'm supposed to overlook any shortcomings because it's a pandemic, but I get nothing except less money for supporting them in a pandemic. None of that adds up for me. Oh Jersey Mike's what are you doing???? I have visited this Jersey Mike's the last 4 times because it's the Newest and closest to me. Each time it's getting worse. I keep hoping it will get better but it's slipping fast. My first time they soaked the sub to the point the roll fell apart because it was a sloppy mess. The second time they put the spicy ham on my number 11 which I didn't ask for. The third they put onions on it that I told them not to, and just now I paid $14.00 for a giant lettuce sandwich! (See the photo) if I wanted a lettuce sandwich I could have went to Subway! I think I will just stick to Sub Doctors from now on where you get twice the meat and less lettuce for a few bucks less. read more

Wife picked up dinner and I had a number #13 had it before and this time it really sucked . The sub was a total mess and sloppy , bread soaked with mayo and wanted lettuce , tomato , and banana peppers on the sandwich and boy did I need a microscope to find it . It's made right in front of you, the meat is newly cut to a big amount. And as for the toppings, the amount is equal to the proteins, making it one giant filling remarkable sub. But if you order your sub as Mike's way, it'll change your life. Mike's way is the best way to have your sub. To top off your proteins with lettuce, tomato, onion, salt, pepper, olive oil blend, red wine vinegar, and spices, it's the perfect combo for the perfect sub. Not too much, not too little. It also solves any sort of dryness from the proteins. So unique and extraordinary. As for the sides and beverages, it's a big selection which I love. Service is always nice and welcoming. I ordered two subs for delivery with extra oil and vinegar on the side. They came plain with nothing on the side I called the store to be told that I can come pick it up even though I told the woman I had a migraine and cannot get out of bed. I was told it didn't matter that they could not deliver my oil and vinegar.I asked to speak to To a supervisor and she told me that they would say the same thing it cannot be delivered. Went 4 times for a roast beef and every time it was way over cooked. I commented and they said something about having a problem with their oven promising that the next time would be better. Shame on me for going back. Another wasted trip. Just awful!!! read more

I have been to this location a few times but this was the worst I have ever seen a sub made. The lunchmeat seemed like it was not refrigerated- room temperature. The condiments were put on very sloppy and when they went to pick up the sub to put on the paper - all the lettuce, tomatoes and banana peppers along with lettuce fell on the counter. They just pick it up in a glob and dropped in on the lunchmeat and put the bread top on. They proceeded to cut the sub before wrapping - what a mess. When I opened the sub at home it wasn't even cut through so when I went to pick up a 1/4 the whole sub fell apart again all over. I understand help is hard to find but at least train the employees to do their job correctly. The subs are at a premium price and so the quality should be there too. Will not go to this location again and unless you want a sloppy sub - you shouldn't go either. read more

I agree with all the other reviews. The past 3 times I have gone to this store the sub was like eating at subway, all bread and fixings and no meat. The bread was getting hard and this was only at 5 o clock I don't want to think how stale it would have been at the end of the day. The prices keep going up and the quality keeps going down. Also the attitude of the staff is disgraceful. They seem that you are annoying them because you want a sub. Don't question them or complain they are not putting enough on the sandwich, this guy gave my sister a nasty answer back "I m already putting too much on it". WOW what a thing to say. I live between both Toms River stores and am not impressed by either one . Time to go to Sub Doctor and get a good sub . read more

Have gone to this location a few times during the pandemic. I appreciate what JM's does for the community and the conditions they now have to work under. However, the last couple of times, my orders have been really bad. After today's visit, I will think twice about going back. I get the #8. It comes with mayo. Once I decided I didn't want mayo but oil and vinegar, so ordered it online with oil & vinegar. Brought it home and my instructions were ignored. The sub had mayo. A few weeks ago, again ordered a #8. The bacon was just about raw. Got a sub tonight. Did not ask for hot peppers, but there I was picking them out. I cannot eat spicy food. The quality I have come to expect from JM's since its inception in Pt. Pleasant is just not available at the Marketplace, Rte. 37 location. read more

I normally love jersey mikes. But tonight I tried their new gluten free roll with a chicken cheese steak. The roll was probably the worst gluten free bread item I've ever had. So I took the meat off and just went to eat that (I normally just get the subs in a tub) and there was barely anything on there! I ended up just making something else to eat. Very very disappointed. Totally over priced for what you get. The subs are small for the price and have very little meat or cheese on them. Also their choice of cheeses are really limited. I do not know hwy people like jersey mike's so much. I would sooner go to a convenience store where I would probably get a better sub and for less money. read more
